The phrase "you got" drives me batty. Dd plays softball, and that seems to be the hot phrase this year. "Go, Sarah! You got!" UGH This is how "for the win" makes me feel. 🤢

I'm sorry this happened to you. I'd feel the sting of that, too.
I would keep it strictly professional with that co-worker from now on. No additional niceties that come with a friendship or friendly working relationship (ie. grabbing coffee together, making coffee for them, catching up on weekend gossip, doing above and beyond your job role to help them out).
I have co-worker or two that I feel cold against because of the way they have behaved or treated me and I just keep it professional. I'll do exactly what I need to do, to do my job with or for them, but nothing more than that.

Are you guys referring to the the 'twine & ink' puffy hearts - I think they came in gold and primary colours?

The $10 sub kits arrived and the DK did not have any washi. The pics also didn’t show washi, but it was listed in the kit contents. I assumed it arrived late, after pics needed to be shot. The TN kit pics also didn’t show washi, but it was listed, and I got the banana print in my kit. Anyone else with the April DK - washi or no washi? Mine arrived with no washi. I assumed it had been replaced this month with an extra chipboard sheet.

I'm so on the fence about this kit. I'm at a place where I wouldn't mind taking on an extra creative project but I'm more excited about the future 3x8 binder and 4x6 ring bound. I think I'll probably wait for those two. The geralyn stamp is back in stock!! I had already bought all the digital stamps from her shop but I can’t resist this physical one too. Cannot wait to see how you use this to document your camper trips! I have been living through your instagram snaps.

I feel like those four would cover me in most corners of the globe that I wish to visit.

I think it’s still nice. My last kit was December and the quality was very nice. I like the quality they're using now too sleepingbooty It's definitely not as premium as the FYC cards I have in my stash but it feels smooth to the touch and they're thick too.

April called SC a 'small business' on Instagram stories the other day. That really did make me deep belly laugh.

They might have been closed over the holiday weekend... My office is only open M-F, 8 hours each day, we aren't shipping orders late at night or over the weekend. I can't imagine every other business is. It's only been a few days, the order will come! I don’t think that’s really an excuse to wait over a week for shipping. They still had plenty of working days within the last week. It’s not good customer service in my opinion when regular orders on regular days don’t ship within 72 hours.

Oh okay so riddle me this, Batpeas? I placed an order taking advantage of the free shipping code over a week ago...and its still active. That's not normal, right? ETA: Looks like my power of suggestion worked. I literally just got my shipping notice. Ha. Well, happy Monday! Yaaasss.. glad it shipped. Totally normal SC behaviour though. They seem to take forever to ship.

I love the vaccine card. Mostly because it just proves how on it KP is. She jumps on current affairs and gets it into her kits in the time in which it's still relevant. I also really appreciated that I could use that vaccine card as it featured vaccine types that we have in the UK (AstraZeneca for example - we don't have 'Johnson and Johnson' or 'Novavax' here), rather than it just being geared towards US vaccines.

Glad to see I'm not crazy, I thought I'd seen a stamp like that somewhere! It also reminds me of Here + There by Crate Paper (I *loved* their aesthetic back then): Ditto. At the time, I would have fought anyone who got in the way between me and that collection. I bloody loved it.

I grabbed the 4x6 IACB Road Trip stamp in addition to my subscription (a girls gotta eat somewhere). I love the Adventure tags/die cuts but they're not available for bundling and I wouldn't purchase them separately.
I really like the DK kit this month. Glad they dropped the washi in favour of the additional chipboard because I've got rolls of the stuff hanging around my craft room that I just don't use!

peachiceteas "Love these moments PL" Ok wait, first things first: BUUUUUDDDDAAAAAAAAY, you absolute beauty! 😍 Dogdammit, Peaches, he's a stunner. I just cannot. His coat markings, his bat ears, his open smile. Yes, I will feed you ALL the treats... I love how these digi stamp die-cuts turned out. Gah, don't make me buy an electronic die-cutting machine (no, seriously, I have no idea where I'd store it). It's such a clean and perfect colour-matching look! I want, I want, I want (the machine and the dog, obviously). Are you still making Buddy's own album? Oh shucks - you're as sweet as iced tea! ❤️ We get so many comments about his coat. 🥰 I decided against creating his own album this year and instead I'm making monthly spreads in my album so I can still document the memories but without the time and financial expense of filling a whole album. I worry it would get a bit repetitive as the stories would mostly be the same and any 'big' things would be covered in my main album anyway. I will not enable you right now to get a electronic die cutting machine but if you do ever want enabling... I will help you justify that purchase 100%! Best thing I've bought in ages. It's opened up so many possibilities! I still LOVE to stamp and would choose to purchase a stamp if I can, but I am really loving the digital and cutting possibilities. UGH. I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. Will keep making cards! Gosh I know this feeling so well. Beautiful cards! You did a great job of using the same collection/manufacturer and making them all look different. @peachicedteas - those elements look great -good job making them JUST right Thank you so much Linda. ❤️ And thank you everyone for the weekend long inspiration and chat. I loved it and cannot wait to do it again soon.

Crepes and custard with whipped cream and fresh fruit for me, and fluffy cheese omelette with heaps of bacon for dh... Yeah, I know, we could do that at home. But that would take away the feeling of being pampered . Oh yes! I know that feeling very well. I've missed eating in restaurants too. One of those things we all took for granted and will always appreciate going forward. 😀 The breakfast you've just described there sounds like the two-course breakfast I need in my life. Savoury to start, sweet to finish. 😜

Awww, that sounds so cute! Is it a kong? My mother's foster pups went from crazy bonkers wildlings chewing ALL the furniture to quietly trying to work their way through the stuffed toy when she got the kongs from the freezer. Adorable af. Thou must take photos for Buddy's album! (who am I kidding? you already have!) YES! Kong is a SAVIOUR in our house (and sounds like it was for your mothers too!). I've bought a few so I can have them in the freezer ready for the right moment. Memory planner workout, yas! I'm not giving up. This thing needs to be up to date and I've clearly not tired of cutting out thin strips out of paper scraps yet. We have Sunday coffee + pastry break planned for the afternoon. Lazying it up lizard-in-the-sun style. We're both off WFH tomorrow so we'll head out and walk all the way to the sea then. Kudos to you for not letting the VAT madness hold you back! Would absolutely love to see the pretty ephemera die-cuts you make with your Cricut and Christine's digi stamps. Will you be sharing a look at them? (So sorry about your husband's knee. I hope he gets well soon!) This sounds like the perfect weekend to me. A little bit of scrappin', some delicious food and quality time with SO (although lets be real that the past year has been nothing but time with the SO). Here's a little look at what I've been working on. I've just got a new printer so I've spent a bit of time setting it up and getting the quality right but this is where I am. I picked my cards, and then recoloured the stamps & added an offset in PS before taking them into Design Space to print and cut. I'm really chuffed that I've managed to get an almost perfect match for the SC card. The blue is a little darker as I needed more contrast between the white for legibility but this is exactly why I bought a Cricut. Photo of the pup for good measure. 😂 I could print and cut a load of them but spending a little bit of time crafting it so the colours match the spread perfectly is worth it for me.

I would have warned myself that the LSS would no longer be available. That AC would take over so much and just make it all similar. That the days of picking and choosing in person were coming to an end.
And I would have bought like crazy. It's so interesting to me that you mention this. I wasn't part of this hobby when LSS were really a thing. We have a 'big box store' called Hobbycraft (basically Hobby Lobby) and that is the closest thing I can liken a LSS in the UK to - even though I know that they're not at all alike. However, I did visit a LSS in Barcelona (Christmas 2019 - last time I left the country 😭) and having the opportunity to browse in store was wonderful. Looking back, what I really enjoyed was being able to talk to the lady that owned the store about scrapbooking. I've never had the opportunity to look at someone elses layouts and discuss them in person before. That was awesome. I suppose I can relate a little but I've pretty much had to purchase everything online from day one. I have loved the anticipation of coming back to this thread again & again, putting in my two cents, and reading all about what my fellow crafters are doing.
Me too. I've really enjoyed checking in regularly here this morning to see if anyone has posted. It's really nice to feel part of the conversation rather than reading it after it's happened. I've just been picking cards from the last few SC kits to work with some photos. Pretty happy with where I've got to.

Good morning Booty. 👋 The sun is shining here in my part of the UK and the sky is looking blue. There really is nothing like sunshine streaming in with some fresh air coming in through an open window to put a spring in your step. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Oh how I would love to be sitting out on the patio with a fresh, warm croissant from the bakery. Bonjour gorgeous, We went savoury for breakfast today. Eggs benedict on an English muffin (of course!) with roasted asparagus. And freshly squeezed orange + grapefruit juice with cava. GLOOOOOH-REEEE-YUS! *chef's kiss* My SO has taken his cooking duties seriously this weekend. 😁 Can't wait for the temperatures to warm up (why is it still so cold?) so we can grab croissants and pains au chocolat to eat on a park bench. Spring is my jam! What was on the menu at casa Peach? Are you taking Buddy on a big Sunday walk? (give him scritches behind the ears and a kiss on the nose from me, please) I was over here expecting you to be having a casual but delicious breakfast and you guys are levelling up over there with fizz. Yasss hun. That sounds glorious and our berries, granola, yogurt and honey is weak in comparison. It's the same here - it's a beautiful day but still chilly. Cannot wait for warmer days and trips to the coast. We would usually go on a long Sunday walk however my husband has sustained a knee injury last week so we're still taking it easy and not doing anything too strenuous. Buddy goes out morning and evening for an hour so still getting plenty of exercise. I will be taking him out this afternoon to the park to play ball. I will absolutely give him a kiss on the nose from you! He's got his head in a toy stuffed with peanut butter and biscuits at the moment to keep him quiet. What is your plan for the day - still going on the memory planner? I am going to get myself a fresh cup of tea and have a play with the dog digital stamps I purchased from EE. I'm going to try printing and cutting with my Cricut to make some ephemera pieces! 😍 I am determined not to have this 'not shipping to the UK' malarkey hold me back from playing with the same pretties as everyone else. 😜

Happy Sunday ladies. Neisey I really enjoyed reading the journalling on your page about your flight. The map with the airport codes really helps to tell that story too. Thank you for sharing. 1. Reveal the SECRET GEM in your hoard, something you've not used out of fear of no longer having it or not being able to live up to its beauty. Your hoard trophy, if you will... Tell us why you think you've not used it so far and what could finally prompt you to get it out of the hoard and onto a project!
I have some big rubber hearts I got from the Studio Calico Storyboard kit a few years ago. They are the only thing I am really hoarding at the moment. I'm partly hoarding them because I'm waiting for the right moment to use them, but also because when I have tried to use them, they haven't fit with the page. I do really love them though. I enjoy having a steady supply of ephemera, rubber or cork pieces and chipboard that I can choose from as these elements really make a page for me. 2. What ADVICE would you give your former scrapbooking/crafty self? As years go by, experience trickles in, we often end up seeing things from a different perspective through growth and trial. Is there anything in particular you feel you need to remind yourself (and your fellow crafters) of?
Less is more. I spent 2015 being really inspired by Inkie Quill when I was working on 12x12 pocket pages. In 2016, I decided to transition from 12x12 to 6x8 and it was whilst I was learning to work with a smaller size that my preferred aesthetic is much more minimal. I prefer to 'stop' about three steps ahead of her. Making the decision to ditch using my own handwriting in 2016 was the best decision I ever made too. My handwriting has definitely improved over the last 6 years but I definitely do not want to see it in my albums. 3. Share your FAVOURITE MOMENT OR LESSON from this weekend with us. It can be a funny anecdote, an expression of gratitude, something that helped you, something you witnessed over these three days, a conclusion you've come to, a realisation you made, a regret even. Don't be shy!
Slow down. Think things through before you fire into action. I've broken a few things over the last few weeks or I'm constantly bumping into things and bruising myself because I am just running around at a million miles an hour. I'm not careless but I definitely rush around and haven't been giving myself chance to take it slow. Breathe, peaches!

And I can’t stop thinking about the kit. Took another looksie. Only two left. Well, now there’s only one left, because I bought it. My mom died last month and this bluey sad kit resonates. Hopefully I’ll be able to pour some of of my feelings out of my head and into some pages to live instead. That would be a welcome relief. I'm so sorry for your loss honeypea. I can't imagine what you're going through. I hope that you find some comfort & peace in documenting your story. ❤️

peachiceteas (and anyone looking for a cocktail stamp set)—I picked up this set from Catherine Pooler to use with New Years photos. Since it has a highball glass, I think I will also pull it out to use with our Scotland distillery outing photos. Love the retro aesthetic. But would also love to see what Geralyn would do with this theme Catherine Pooler Cocktail Party Stamp Set This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I love the cocktail shaker and the decanter in particular. Those would go so well with many of my stories. I've never heard of Catherine Pooler before - she has some absolutely beautiful ink colours!

I'm thinking the same! I've been checking in periodically and I'm really surprised we haven't seen something new in her shop already. We are almost four months into 2021. If I”m not mistaken, Geralyn designed the new Pinkfresh Keeping It Real collection. Her awesome iconography is all over it. Even though it has a ton of pink (and I am not a pink person) I LOVE it!!! I hope she comes out with some new digi kits soon, however You're totally right. I picked up a few bits from the collection and I cannot wait to start using them. They're going to be perfect for pocket pages. It's got me even more excited about what the future holds for Pinkfresh.

Gosh you ladies are so talented! How lucky are we to have such a lovely and passionate community? ❤️ I dunno, I don’t have any space (we’re running our own business from home, my desk has become a dumping ground). I feel a bit overwhelmed with what to scrapbook because my cancer is incurable so at some point I’m going to be out of time...so it all feels likeTOO MUCH PRESSURE. I feel like any page I do has to be especially meaningful and profound and so I don’t know where to start. I too won't pretend to know how you're feeling but I will echo all the sentiments from the other ladies around not putting too much pressure on yourself. Do it for yourself, love. ❤️ I imagine that whilst documenting your memories is your driving force, take time to enjoy it. That is the most important thing in my eyes. That we all use the time we have wisely to do the things we love. And when we don't love or enjoy them anymore - it's totally fine for them to take a back seat. Thinking of you, craftykitten ! Old Karen Foster stickers... I love the colour red you've used on your layout Linda. It really compliments the red tones in the drinks. I need to remember to use red more! March 01-06 in my 2021 memory planner featuring trumpet playing, Dries Van Noten's new ready-to-wear line for autumn/winter at the Paris Fashion Week, current events, little bits of pattern paper, personal anecdotes and my usual minimal style: Beautiful style Booty. I adore your minimalist, just the right amount of embellishment, aesthetic. I try to have a similar style in my own albums. When I see Memory Planner spreads like yours, it sets a little fire in my belly and makes me want to start a similar project. I am the queen of wanting to do all the projects and not doing any of them, though! 🤣 Breaking news! I just finished a DCWV cardstock pad!😁 AMAZING! Well done. If we had a bell that we could ring every time someone used something up, I would ring it hard for you! A cardstock pad is brilliant work. Here is my take on the pop up sketch from page two. I stretched it over two pages and of course made some other adaptations, but I started with the arrangement of triangles in the sketch. I love how bright and vibrant these pages are. It's impossible to scroll past them and not comment. I'm captivated by the striking colour on the white! I've had this one saved for a while. It's an Allison Davis sketch/example I love this, kitbop! I love the colours so much - they're my vibe! I love how you have the patterned paper in the background at an angle, but it's grounded by the fact the photos are straight. It's not a design I've done before, but I feel like I might have to give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration. It's time to scrap this sweet 10-year-old pug who adopted us in September Oh my goodness! Hello little guy! That's the thing about puppers - we welcome them into our homes and they totally steal our hearts.
