Just bumping this thread as I saw this in the Coming Soon section of my online-LSS. Sorry if we have already discussed it somewhere - I am just so excited for this for the people who will love having a collection like this to document their stories. www.simplestories.com/collections/happy-hanukkahThe colours are just gorg.

I love Elle's Studio. I don't sub to her kits, but we have a UK-based retailer that works with Elle's Studio to sell the monthly kits + addons at the same time as they are released on ES. I purchase from the retailer so I can get the supplies in a few days rather than a few weeks.
It is a simple style but I find it so easy to use and mix in with other products from other companies.
I love all the bits and pieces they do too - the cork, the wood veneer.
They feel like one of the few manufacturers that actually make easy to use and decent sized pocket page embellishments, at a very good price.

La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 mineral sunscreen is pretty much the only drugstore sunscreen I would put on my skin and not worry about breakouts.
It's very good for putting makeup over the top if that's your style too.
It looks like it's available at CVS and Ulta if you are in the US.

So true! Sometimes I look at photos of past kits and the GT Gallery...but I sure am glad that I am not giving AF a ton of my money anymore /stressing about being online to get the Add-on before they sold out. Whilst I do too feel that way... I absolutely loved the buzz of it all. I remember waking up at something stupid like 3am to be there for one of their sales to snag some $10 kits. Their kit sales used to be so good.

I did pop into your thread but I'm so sorry I can't be of any help! Looks like you only have one left to identify which is pretty good going.

Are there any codes for starting a new kit sub? Thinking of giving the Documenter kit a six-month go after a few years off. June's seems pretty nice. My advice would be to stick with month to month. Yes it’s more expensive per month but I wouldn’t risk it right now. This is the best looking kit there has been in my opinion, for probably almost a year.

The only room our dog is not allowed in is our bedroom.
He is also not allowed on furniture. Instead he has a big comfy cushion (in addition to his bed) to sleep on in the lounge, and big rugs he can stretch out on.
At night or when he needs to be restricted, he has free roam of the kitchen. He is not granted free roam of the house when we aren't home.
He has never destroyed anything but the kitchen is his safe space, he doesn't need free roam when we aren't here.

We have been married two years and we have both. We have our own current accounts and savings accounts.
Our wages are paid into our current accounts and we put X amount a month into our joint accounts. From there, we can spend/save what we wish from our own accounts.
I absolutely love it because we have both shared financial security and our own freedom.

Flippin 'eck. I do really appreciate that she is willing to ship to the EU & UK but there is just no way I am dropping 2 hundy on stamps in one pop, from one retailer.
I have never been that kind of gal and I won't be starting now.
I do absolutely love her stamps though so I really hope there is a brighter light at the end of the tunnel in the future. TFS!

SC posted sneak peeks of the July kits and I am excited! A lot of travel themed products, which is perfect for me since we have a road trip planned July 3-11. I love the stamp set and the color theory labels look very usable. I did a little audible squeal when I saw the sneaks for July. So bloody here for it. The other travel collections this year have either been inaccessible to me or I’ve been unimpressed. This is a kit I’m buzzing for!

Fixed it for you! Bwahaha. However, NO. As a European cut off from most American indie stamp designers/brands now that VAT collection through vendors is required, I need Studio Calico to step it of the fuuuuuck up. If not, I have one foot out of this hobby, unfortunately. There is very little wiggle room left for me. I can't believe I'm counting on Inked Brands but oy vey, here we are. I’m right here with you babe. Literally no other choice but to shop at SC and AE now. So I’m flying that flag for Inked with you, hoping they’ll keep pumping out IACB and EE.

I LOVE the NP mini kit. I don't really follow KP so no idea how much of it, if any, will be available digitally. But I'll absolutely snap up whatever is available.

I think I am just grumpy today. I love IACB, I do - but after a while her stamps all look the same Nah it's not just you as to some extent - I agree. I love IACB and I am crying out for more of her supplies but there does need to be a bit more variety, particularly in stamp sets. PLEASE GERALYN I NEED A STAMP ABOUT BEER/WINE/SPIRITS and I will not stop going on about it until someone delivers it for me

Update on the Local Eats stamp sets by IACB: I just don't think there's enough new material there for me to buy this full price. Would consider it with a 20% off coupon. I guess I could try to check out as a guest with that 20% off code I'd posted earlier in this thread. But I'm in no rush it get it despite the "bon appétit" sentiment. It would be a nice purchase for someone who doesn't have a lot of foodie stamp sets yet, however. I couldn’t agree more. On first glance I was tempted and then I realised it’s mostly food icons and repeated sentiments that I can definitely live without.

Sneaks. Thoughts? I may actually pick up the documenter kit. I love that green and navy 'making waves' card I LOVE THIS SNEAK. Of course after I cancel my DK kit after the travesty (in my opinion!) that May was, they bring out this which I'm totally vibing with. I just love the colours, and the chipboard has a few decent sentiments too. I will never use the whale stamp but I'd keep it in my stash as its IACB and the other sentiments look useable. I'm in the same boat as Booty sleepingbooty regarding the IACB food stamp. I have quite a few of her food stamps now so I'll be interested to see the whole stamp set when it's available for purchase.

I bought two sets of journal cards and two sheets of phrase stickers back in April when SC had a sale. Combined with a coupon, I got each card set for about $5 and thought it worth to check the quality these days. I haven't had cards from SC in forever. Colour me pleasantly surprised. I got the Chalet Edelweiss and Bookworm cards. Nice quality, good thickness (that's what she said), good printing and colour vibrancy (although SC picked a few shades that were just too light but that's business as usual for them). The phrase sticker sheets are good like they've always been. Pleased to hear you like them - I have the same feelings about them. Sometimes their designs just aren't to my taste but when they get it right plus the printing and material, they're pretty nice. I was subbed to SC for a few months as my options are so bloody limited right now, but the May kit pushed me over the edge to cancel. Definitely not in a hurry to receive that one.

Seeing that FYC kit, I'm secretly hoping Geralyn releases more than stamps with SC in the future. It's really annoying now that we've been cut off from FYC (and KP in June). Ugh. The frustration is real. literally could not agree more

I have a really small stash of stamps so I have them divided into two IKEA storage containers - one for 6x4 stamps, which live in Studio Calico stamp sleeves, and another for anything smaller that are in a mix of small polypockets and SC stamp sleeves. I don't divide them into categories as I generally know the stamp I'm looking for or it only takes me a few moments to flick through the box.
If I had a bigger collection I would organise by theme. I completely agree with the idea to organise by how your brain works.

In the UK, 'sell by' and 'use by' dates are two different things. I would expect meat products to have a 'use by' date on them, and I'd go by that.
I don't have a problem with eating something two days past the 'use by' date providing it smells fine and that you can ensure will be heated to be piping hot in the oven/on the stove.

I think I’ve given a thumbs down a couple times most likely. When I do it, it’s not because of their craft, creation, or the like. It has to be something completely ignorant and backwards - racism, sexist comments, or similar. Whenever I've given a video a thumbs down, it's for the same reasons.

Anyway, just goes to show that dog bites, attacks and attempted attacks can come in all shapes and sizes. And that many dog owners are completely unconscious re: the threat their dogs can pose. I am so sorry to hear you have been bitten/attacked by dogs. It's absolutely terrifying and I'm sorry you had to go through that. Incidents like this are why I have such an issue with the 'my dog is friendly' brigade. The majority of people seem to be unable to read the signs that their dog is putting out into the world and so many dogs that don't know how to behave due to no fault of their own due to lack of training on the owners behalf. All dogs can react. All dogs have limits. They all have teeth.

I shouldn't have even opened this thread because it just angers me the blanket hatred people have for pit bulls, but here I am. I have personally known 4 pit bulls that are some of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Ha, yep. My heart hurts. I have an issue with any untrained dog that is let off it's leash. I don't care what breed it is. If your dog does not have 100% recall - and that means returning first time, every single time - around every distraction, it should not be off it's leash. Get a long line lead so it can still run around and have freedom but be totally under your control. Off leash dogs should never be allowed to enter the space of another dog without permission. I don't care if it's friendly. Not every dog is friendly or wants to be greeted. On the flip side, some dogs get so excited at the prospect of meeting other dogs that they're difficult to control & calm down and their owners don't want to deal with that on every single walk. I also don't care if you have the sweetest dog in the world who has never shown any signs of disliking a dog. Not all dogs get on with eachother, just like all humans don't get on. Don't take the risk of today being the day your dog decides it doesn't like the smell of another. The pitbull owner was completely in the wrong in this instance and that dog should never have been allowed to run up to the Golden Retriever. I would feel exactly the same if we were talking about a dachshund entering the space of a spaniel. I wouldn't run up to a stranger and sniff their backside or put my nose against there's in a park so I have no idea why the majority dog owners allow their dogs to do it. It is for the safety and protection of ALL dogs that NO dog should be allowed to approach another dog without the owners permission.

I have never done a weekly, i just go with the flow and some pages are like a birthday celebration and others are like a whole week depending on what's happening. I don't stress about it. I don't usually scrap every day stuff, mainly make travel albums and did high school albums for my two kids. Scrapbook the everyday, scrapbook the month, or just scrap a bday party and put them all next to each other. Agreed with all this above and it's where my head is at in terms of pocket page scrapbooking. I use the words Project Life and pocket scrapping interchangeably but I've never actually participated in the 'Project Life' project. I started this hobby in December 2014 when I was introduced to it by a lifestyle blogger. I was completely drawn in by the idea of putting photographs in pockets. It felt like the scrapbooking and photo album hybrid I had been seeking for many years. From day one, I've always used pocket pages to document whatever I feel like - birthdays, trips, weekends away, home renovations. I don't follow any sort of weekly or monthly pattern. It's my favourite thing about pocket pages. The page protectors are your bread and butter and you can use them however you wish. If I do want to document the everyday, I love doing the Week In The Life project every so often, or I did EE Positivity Passport project in August. But other than that, I only document life events that I want to remember. Best of luck with your new album. It won't be long before you find your groove and what works for you!

SC is now offering a 6x8 paper pad to match the monthly kits. What do you think of the price? $10 seems steep. I have no doubt they'll end up on sale for $5 in the future.

Finn is a gorgeous pupper! I love his big floppy ears.
Having a new dog in the house will be what's not giving you the free time to sit down and scrapbook. It doesn't matter whether they're a puppy, a teen, a senior, hyper or chill - it's a complete lifestyle change similar to having a baby. It will take you a little while to get into a new groove. It's another thing to think about on top of everything else that we deal with as humans.
We adopted a 3 year old dog in August and the first few weeks and months were time consuming. He still consumes a lot of my time now as we're doing lots of training with him but between that and my day job, I have been able to find pockets of time to scrapbook.
My suggestion would be to carve out dedicated time to scrap, even if that means you have to give up doing something else. I'd also try and make it as easy as possible for yourself to scrap when you get that time. Putting together kits will definitely help you start when you find the free time.

They're wonky and some of them are perfectly small. I didn't think I'd ever use the arrows but the tiny ones are just beaut. Pray tell, how small are the smallest hearts? They have a rough reference of 0.5” but I'm hoping they might be a bit smaller in real life. Merci!0.5cm wide is about right to be honest. The smallest heart is 0.5cm wide and 1cm tall.
