The awesome owner of our LSS (Yes, we are VERY lucky to have her around.) made this adorable tree tag. I LOVE it, and had an idea to use the tree shape as an angel skirt. I love how it turned out! So fun! If I were going to make several of the angels, I’d cut the halos out with the Silhouette. This one was just hand drawn and cut, and it’s a little rough around the edges.
im going to take it to a local restaurant to put on their tree. 🙂

grammadee gramma AussieMeg I left praise for you in the gallery. teacherlisa lovely wrap up page! I'm so glad you post these, it's a reminder for me to be better at documenting little things that matter. Your gratitude page is a great way to end an album. Love your Disney Plus page. Escape to Witch Mountain was one of the first movies I watched! The Tempe festival looked fabulous! I'm a bit jealous of your warm weather year round. KikiPea cool tags! Making them would confuse me!

Decided to try my paper angel on an ornament. I think they are so cute! If I were to make more, I’d have to figure out a better way to stabilize the halo. It was a fun project to brighten up my being home tonight.

teacherlisa, those are wonderful wrap up pages. Love the photos and the interesting details in your journaling. The November details page is cool. Love the hearts that pop. Great responses to the prompts. Makes me think we need a “Currently” challenge monthly. Nice variety in the grid pages. I really need to document books &/or TV shows. Super birthday page, refugeepea. That worm is the perfect embellishment! There’s a reason you were waiting to finish this one until you had that in hand. KikiPea, those tags are AWESOME! Love how you adapted the tree tag to make it an angel! And then you went from tag to tree ornament. Very creative. BTW, I love the music pp: perfect for angels. Do you have a link to folding instructions? I had made some trees like that years ago, but would need some trial and error to figure it out again.

Sorry, I keep forgetting to check in here! I forgot to take a photo of my nephew's photo calendar before I wrapped it up, but I got it made, quickly and easily once I finally got the photos from my SIL. I made his year in review blurb book too, but it might not arrive until a little after Christmas, so I can't really share that either. I also learned to erase someone from a photo using Photoshop to try to create a photo card they could send out - my BIL is VERY uncooperative with photos and the only photos they had with the 3 of them had extra people in them or were not photo card suitable. I think they're going to use a cute photo of my nephew I took last Xmas for the main picture, so that was lovely It was a picture I was proud of. I wrapped some gifts today - nothing fancy, but once I have the rest done I'll try to share a photo. I'm wrapping all the gifts my SIL had shipped to our house for my nephew - they live in Hawaii but come here for the holidays, so everything is stashed in our basement. She gets him a lot, so I have a use for the wrapping papers I really didn't need to buy on sale. I finished all my Christmas cards too, including a couple of extra ones for people I might forget, and I put my ScanNCut away and started tidying up my space a little bit.

I baked four batches of goodies on Saturday for our neighborhood progressive dinner. Dessert was at our home, hence the decorating and cleaning frenzy. Today I wrapped 21 gifts. That's it for me!

Good job getting your mincemeat and wrapping done, joblackford! I have all my shopping done except for turkey and fixings for Wednesday. I still want to add a two page spread to the roadtrip scrapbook I am giving dd & family. Hoping to get that finished tomorrow when the guys are going skiing at the small local hill. (But I also need to clean house, vacuum, and wash the floor while they are gone, so...) Am working on the wrapping a few gifts at a time, but can see the light at the end of the tunnel... I think! Dgs is here today while Mom and Dad are busy getting their stuff done. This morning he had a blast wrapping some gifts for an auntie and some cousins. Now he is outside with Grampa setting up the last of the outdoor displays.

grammadee Those boxes! I love them! gramma And your boxes! Adorable! teacherlisa- I love the different LOs! I've had a busy month! I've completed almost 30 pages so far and I'm hoping to get quite a bit more before the end of the month. With that said, I have been sick and just don't have the energy to take pics of them all and share. Maybe I'll take a few of my favorites tomorrow. In the past 4-5 weeks I've completed January-April of 2019. Here's to hoping I can finish up 2019 quickly, keep up to date for 2020 and then backtrack to 2011 and catch up!

I have been absent from this thread this month. I find I just don't get into my computer many days. Hopefully I am about ready for Christmas, so tonight I went through and left love for all your December scrapping. I caught grammadee, AussieMeg, refugeepea, and gramma, in the gallery. myboysnme, I love the Christmas card made with scraps behind the cut out Christmas tree. So cute. KikiPea, I love, love, that 92nd birthday page. What a beautiful photo and what a tender moment. Gorgeous work. ~I love that big flower on your a Place to Relax. You have such a beautiful style of scrapping. ~I love those origami Trees and have seen them before, but your Angels are spectacular. I love that you took one idea and made something even better. Darling angels for tags or ornaments. joblackford, I love your tall slim cards. They are really elegant. All your cards are so perfect, but these are unusual and one of my favorites of your designs. You do lovely work. ~Your mincemeat bars sound delicious, especially with whipped cream. Your wrapped gifts look so pretty. I need to get mine done tonight! teacherlisa, I always love your pocket pages. I especially love the gratitude page with the title surrounded by those things you are grateful for. Your Arts Festival sounds like such fun. I wish we had one close to us. Beautiful, heartfelt pages. I would love to have Disney +, but we are pretty technology challenged and probably wouldn't be able to figure it out. I hope you enjoy those wonderful movies.

nylene Thank you (you always say such kind things) but I don't feel like I can take any credit for the design of the cards I made - Lori Whitlock did all the hard work! I don't often purchase cut files, but this one really spoke to me, and it seems to have gone down well with the people I sent it to. My blurb books arrived today! I'm so glad I didn't get conned into rush shipping them. They print very close to us, close to a major post office hub too, so I decided to gamble on the estimated delivery date of 1/1 being wrong. And sure enough, they were on my doorstep this morning It hurts enough to pay $12 for shipping. I hate to pay $20+ just for postage. Anyway, this is the photo I chose for the cover. The kiddo's mom took it. I thought it made a good image for a 10 yo who is getting more confident and sure of himself every year. Photo books by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Good job getting those “random November photos” on pages, refugeepea. Love the embellies you chose to go with them. You’re right, joblackford. That is an awesome photo for your cover! Glad the books arrived on time and you didn’t need to break the bank on postage! I love living in a small town. I took my gifts for the BC clan into the courier office. The store owner was having lunch with her sister in law who works at the post office. The two of them weighed and measured the packages and decided they would be less expensive through Canada Post. They carried them back out to my vehicle and sent me over to the post office to mail them.

Soooooooo, no energy for crafting, but I did more baking and wrapping! Wrapped about 15 more gifts, I've sorta lost track now! Prepped 10 pounds of potatoes for lefsa for tomorrow, made Muddy buddies, and a batch of spritz cookies this afternoon. We are dealing with some tough issues with my youngest son (suicidal idealization) depression due to self-worth issues. All related to attachment due to his adoption. Older DS also has issues and he is home now from Job Corps. Pretty stressful difficult stuff going on for both of our sons. DSD is also home, but she's been more stabilizing, thankfully!
