Slowly but surely trying to catch-up with the middle months (start of the pandemic to the start of summer, basically) where I just didn't have the energy/brainspace to document, while simultaneously keeping on track with the current weeks. Honestly, I'm LOVING it and not finding "catching up" to be particularly stressful right now. I was really worried about it before but it feels like a fun way to distract myself and spend time these days. Let's see how long that feeling lasts, haha!

I haven't felt like scrapbooking but I've been keeping a diary of sorts so I'll know what's been going on.

I managed to do a portion of July and then skipped ahead to October. I really wanted to play with some of my new fall supplies while I was still loving them so I just went for it. I'm off for a long weekend in a couple of weeks so I hope to get a bunch done before I pack up my scrap room for a move at the beginning of December. The long weekend is technically to get a start on packing but I figure I can carve out some time to play with my stuff first. I also realized I'm ready to go back to a larger size. I loved 8.5x11 at the beginning of the year but now I'm missing larger photos & being able to use traditional sizes. I really hope scrapbook.com gets their 9x12 albums soon.

I am still staring at Aug- Oct. 🙄
I did organize my photos for Aug today and figured out what I needed to print for tomorrow. Once they are all printed, the actual page making for me is easy.

I'm pretty much caught up through to mid Oct and have photos printed up to this week. This has been helping me just do a pocket or two when I feel like being creative but don't have the motivation or energy to work on a full page.

I’m pretty much caught up, just some journaling and decoration to do for October. I also finished 2019 in the last weekend of October. So I did 2 years this year. I’m not trying to go back further in any regimented way all stuff prior to that I’ll just do what I feel like.

I usually don't work too far behind in this project, but in September/October I wasn't really feeling like working on it. I wasn't scrapbook much and, when I did, I was working on other projects. The past week or so I've been more energized to work on this project and completed a few weeks so now I'm caught up through the first week of September. I'm considering skipping ahead and working on the current week (I want to put together an election insert) and then filling in the holes as I go. I do that occasionally so I can create a week that's "in the moment" but I usually just work in chronological order until I catch up.

I'm about two months behind but I do have my photos printed out, just haven't gotten to it yet with my desk reorganization. I find now that I send my photos out to be printed I don't keep on top of it as much as I was printing at home, but the cost is so much less, especially for an extended year long project.

I find the same thing. Its not as cheap, but I am more likely to sit down and get a month done when I have some spare time. I felt like I had to 'schedule' PL ahead of time before - so I'd have free time, photos picked up, etc. Its a trade off but for me, its worth it.

After being all diligent and on top of PL this year, I totally fizzled at the start of October. I spent that month making pages in a new project - October/Halloween compilation album, which was super fun. But it definitely took my attention away from PL. Then once Halloween was over and I thought I’d quickly slap my (monthly style) PL together and be all “caught up”... well, then the election was in full swing and I totally lost myself. I spent weeks glued to news and barely sleeping or eating. I can’t believe it’s the end of November!! What the heck! 😅 So I have two months to catch up with. Luckily I’m not a December Daily person, so my attention won’t be splayed. I do want to do a December compilation album too, but I don’t plan to go nuts with it. Once we break from homeschooling for the holidays, I’ll have plenty of time to toil away at this. ✂️💚📔
