In November we attended an ESOP conference in Las Vegas. This layout was supposed to have journaling about how Las Vegas is more than Booze, Gambling and Skin. Whoops - didn't leave room. IMG_4479 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

I just finished 23 more cards! The dark card stock is dark green to match the green in the leaves. It looks black in the photo!

Thank you so very much Those papers are a few from a 12 sheet pack from Tuesday Morning. The pack was only $2.99 and the papers worked really well for Father’s Day cards. All of you have been so very nice and encouraging. I have always felt I struggle with so many aspects of scrapping and card making. Everyone’s comments have really helped me push myself and get better, thank you

Yesterday I did one more set of sheet load cards. They started out quick and simple but ended up taking me much longer. I think because it was later in the day and I struggle being creative when I’m tired. But as I kept getting closer and closer to finishing them I did not want to stop! By the time I quit for the night I was stiff and sore! I ended up making seven Father’s Day cards and five anniversary cards. The papers are from two really old paper pads. The banner tail is copper and the layering cardstock is brown (since my colors are usually wonky).

Starting commenting finishing off page three: So sorry you are still struggling to join the Gallery, patin. I will see if I can find the private email address that admin sent me when she invited me to be board monitor and see if I can reach her that way. I have changed computers since then, but hoping I still have the info. myboysnme , you are perfectly welcome to share on this thread! Love your pages. The wedding page is so suited to their informal wedding: love the angled graphiti look lettering, simple page design with the interlocked hearts and the selfie photo. That pic of your dgd's hand in yours is a classic, and I am glad you scrapped it with flowers and gold foil. This is a special memory to record, for sure. gmcwife1 , you did wonders with those papers and that card design. Love the soft teal/yellow with the stark black/white, and I like the different ways you framed the greeting. Well done! And on page four: the florals are really pretty and perfect for Mothers' Day cards. But I think my favourite of the papers you have used is the CLOCK pp on the last batch. Where did you get that? So perfect for so many occasions! It seems you can take ANY pp combo, a simple design, and create something special! You are a card making wizard! Am hoping to catch everyone else on Flickr.

gmcwife1, I agree with grammadee, you are a card wizard. You have really made a bunch of beautiful cards this month. I love those clocks. It seems clocks work for so many different themes and Father's Day is perfect use of them. I love the copper banner. I have never tried to use the sheet load method, but I would like to learn. I'd probably have to sit next to someone to keep me going the first time. Thanks for sharing your cards. Here are 2 more layouts. Now I am just 3 behind, I think. Here is my take on AussieMeg 's sketch for 29-4-29 Day 22. It is MUCH brighter than this IRL, but the photo makes it look dull and the snow looks a little dirty. It is pretty sparkly and white... At the chicken farm by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: Two pages created & shared (4). 29-4-29 Day 22 + Twist (5), #7 double page (1), #9 scraps (2) #10 hearts (2), #14 torn edges (2), #15 popped up chicken diecut (1), #23 date (1), #27 love this kid (2), #37 patterns (6), #40 diecuts (2), #42 four pic's from this year (4), #44 <24 words (1), #49 glitter (2), #54 stamped the pattern on the barn boards (1), #58 squares (2). Love your attention to detail, gramma , and how professional your pieces look. Will look at them more closely on Flickr. My page this morning, in contrast, is pretty messy! But it was fun to put together, and I still love it once it is finished, so that is a good sign... It is for yesterday's 29-4-29 challenge to use more than one mixed media technique on a project. There is a prompt today on Scrap Happy's LOAD to play on the word Invisible, to display something for which I am simply an observer, unnoticed by participants. I am often the unseen/unnoticed observer of my grandkids' play, and I love taking photos of them as they enjoy their surroundings and each other. The first photo I took myself--and believe me this young man was totally focused on his little brother, not me. The second photo was taken by the kids' mom. The transparent items are an acrylic snowflake I diecut a couple of years ago and some clear acrylic drops. It's Snow Magic by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And here is the facing page with the journaling and a selection of the MANY pic's I snapped of these little guys (aged 4 and 6) enjoying the acres of snow (and ice!) on the farm: it's snow magic 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: Two pages created & shared (4). 29-4-29 day 26 + twist (5). Donna challenge (brads) + eleven photos (16). #6 cropped photos (2), #7 two pager (1), #8 enamel dots (2), #10 hearts + bonus for blue hearts (4), #11 Blues (2), #14 torn edge (1), #21 chipboard (1), #23 up to date (2), #24 old ribbon and brads (2), #27 Love these little guys! (2), #30 Those snowballs are ROSES! (2), #37 two patterns (2), #38 navy cs (2), #39 ribbon (2), #40 diecuts (2), #42 pic's from this month (2), #44 43 words (2). #47 jumping pic's (2), #49 glitter (2), #57 & 58 squares & rectangles on each (4), #64 dots (2). Total: 68.

gramma, Flickr won't let me leave a comment on your set of swap paper piecings. They are amazing! You make everything look so professional. I love the the choices you made for San Francisco. Love those seagulls! Excellent layering.

I've had a few things ruminating on my desk week and had time to photograph and tally points today. Yeah!
I played along with a sketch over at Scrap your stash.

This is the layout that I worked on the night of the pop up cyber crop hosted by joyfulnana
Echo Park All About a Boy was super easy to use for both these layouts. I think they look different enough from each other they could even go in his album consecutively.

This is the two versions, one needed another layer of cardstock

Wow! So much creativity landing in the Gallery and here in the last DAY!!! Here is a two pager I started yesterday and finished today for kitbop 's 29-4-29 Day 24. In Hockey News by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: two pages created and shared (4). 29-4-29 day 24 + twist (5). Donna challenge (eyelets again + 3 photos) (8). #4 diamonds (counting the whole ones I can see) (29), #5 sports (2), #6 one 5x7 (1), #7 two pages (1), #9 the newsprint pieces were scraps from years ago (2), #10 Non red/pink hearts (4), #15 tag is popped up (1), #19 thickers (1), #23 February '20 photos (2), #24 Used stash that was 5-10 years old (2), #27 love this kid (2), #33 arrows (2), #37 three patterns (3), #39 tied shoelace (1), #42 this month's photos (2), <50 words (2), #49 glitter thickers (1), #51 tag (1), #54 stamps (2), #55 stars (2), #57 rectangular photos (2), #58 square pages (2), #59 doodled diamonds (1). Total: 85 Hoping to get to lilacgal 's Thursday challenge today, but my family is conspiring to keep my focus on them rather than scrapping, so we will see what I actually accomplish!

And I DID get to do the second LO this morning, even with interruptions. To be "efficient" for DawnMcD 's challenge for today, I needed to start with what was already on my scrap counter, which was this guy's other hockey pic's and the papers and supplies I had already pulled for the first two pages. So this meets Day #28. 1st year of hockey by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And because the first page is a lift of KelleeM 's page as presented by lilacgal for yesterday, I am claiming it for that challenge as well. Gotta love Two-fer's! POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). 29-4-29 days 28 & 29 + twists (10), #4 three full diamonds (3), #5 sport (2), #6 lots of resized photos on the 2nd page (1), #7 two page spread (1), #9 used scraps from my first two pages (2), #14 torn edges (2), #20 phrase sticker (1), #21 cb pieces (2), #23 Winter 19-20 album (2), #24 old papers (2), #27 my dgs (2), #32 two patters (2), #37 three patterns (3), #44 <25 words (1), #57 & 58 (4). Total: 44.

It seems that the Gallery is having difficulties. It won't hold a comment. Once you leave the page it is gone. I will try again later.

BTW I saw your comment about the sheetload of cards - the nice thing is that Call Me Crafty Al shares a process video the day after she shares the new design and cards she made so you could actually follow along with her! just a ith a few pauses to catch up with the cutting. It’s usually right after the beginning of the month on her YT channel. I have been working on some cards today but nothing is stuck down for forever yet. I guess I better get on that tomorrow!
