Happy Saturday!
I had a really slow week and didn’t get to squeeze any scrapping in. Today I completed 17 Father’s Day cards. Dh had me run to Home Depot with him, so I took a break and now I’m starting one more set of Mother’s Day cards.
I hope everyone is having a great day!

My craft room is as done as it is going to get for now. Need some crafty storage. But all in all, I'm pretty happy with it.

Of course everyone wants to hang there lol. I would too! It's so cozy! That yarn storage is awesome and that chair is so cool. I'll bet you can't wait to spend time in there. I would love to have big windows like that.

Your craft room looks really well CRAFTED, jeremysgirl! Love the artsy details like the curtain around the desk and the fabric on the chair. The colours are lovely, and it looks like a welcoming retreat! I am back home after a weekend at my dd's and some medical appointments. All the time I was driving home yesterday (2+ hours one way from my dd's) and today (1 1/2 hour return trip for medical tests) I was thinking of the pages I wanted to do with the photos I printed while in the city. Have not actually DONE any pages yet, but have prepped for a few using embossing paste and paint, so hoping I can actually get some finished tomorrow. It looks like a busy crafty weekend for lots of people. Have tried to catch up on commenting in the Gallery and in the sharing thread. Whew! Lots of inspiration here! Great to see your pages, joyfulnana. And gmcwife1, you've created quite the stack of cards this past week!

I've been gone from this thread longer than I thought. I was so busy getting ready for the crop then being away plus that nasty old job was demanding of my time (ha!). Anyways, I had a lot of fun at the crop. It was so great spending the weekend with my friends and seeing the other ladies at the event. All of my planning paid off and I completed 17 pages which is a record for me. And more importantly, I feel like I found my scrappy mojo again. I'm in the process of adding up the points and checking to see if there are little things I can add to get a few extra. The plan is to have them posted by Friday then spend some time checking out the gallery to see everything that's been shared. grammadee I made some mini chipboard albums last week - they are approx 3x4 with 24 pages + the covers. Do I get points for each page or is it all lumped together as one project? Thx I hope you get to scrap the stories that came to you in the car soon. joyfulnana - I take forever and a day to make a page. I spent hours putting kits together and it still at least an hour to put each page together at the crop. I am glad the mammo went well. I'm sorry I missed the crop, hopefully I can make the next one. jeremysgirl - your room looks great!! I love the yarn storage and the chair fabric. linda - 10,000 photos - WOW!! angel97701 - I am so glad the wrestling went so well! gmcwife1 - I love how you crank out all the cards. do you use templates or sketches to make your cards? joblackford- good luck with sorting and selling all those items. I've seen what you posted on instagram and some of it is, um, interesting. Have a great day everyone!

Thx I hope you get to scrap the stories that came to you in the car soon. Yay for a productive crop and the return of the scrappy MOJO! You can count each page or two page spread. Check out the Easy Peasy scoring to see how the sizing works best for you. The original scoring says a project ANY size, so one small page would count as a project. Got one page done. Then dh came home from coffee in town and out of the blue decided to hang a wall decor piece we received for Christmas and has been sitting in the basement for a month... I think scrappy time is over for the morning...

I'm breaking 1,000 this month!! Too bad about the interrupted scrappy time but it will be nice to get the wall decor piece hung up.

I finally got caught up with my junk-selling duties so I puttered around and added to some cards in progress, dithered over some others, and then yesterday I sat down and actually made some PLANS. I’ve got a trip coming up which I know will disrupt everything - 2 weeks in the UpsideDown (visiting my old life down under) can de-rail me for a month or more. So I got out my planner and wrote down what’s happening between now and the trip, and in the month or two after the trip, which holidays I should make cards for, etc.
I came across a list I made last year in my bullet journal of cards I could make to sell for Mother’s Day. I think I made the list too late or ran out of energy, but yesterday I copied it into my current bujo and then actually gathered up all the stamp sets I could use, discovered I could make 1 card from each set and be very well stocked with options - I think I have at least 10 stamp sets I could use! So I’m going to try to focus on that for the next couple of weeks. I can stamp a bunch of them and use the less good ones for donations (without the mom sentiments they’ll just be happy butterflies and florals).
It’s also a good wake up call that I don’t need more supplies. Just typing this I realized I also have several embossing folders that I should add to the “kit” I’ve made. I have more than enough - I just have to USE it!

Looking forward to seeing what you made I was happy this weekend to get almost all of the current batch of junk up on Marketplace to sell which meant I could put it in the basement and have my living room back. The piles sit there and every time I walk by I’m reminded of all the things I have to do... A friend bought 2 of the crocks yesterday, which were some of the big ticket items. And I just messaged another friend who will probably take the other two! And my husband has almost fixed the 1960s Bernina sewing machine. We need to decide whether to keep it or sell it. I sometimes miss having a sewing machine, and it’s a great, solid machine, but I have no good space for it. The items are indeed interesting... and they’re only the beginning. If only I could show you the scale of it... We’re giving things a couple of weeks to sell and then FIL can decide whether to yard sale them or donate them. I think he’s ready to let go, and he’s happy to get some cash every time we see him. I’m trying not to give him too many details. He had some unreasonably optimistic expectations about some stuff. But there’s SO much, even selling each item/lot for $10 he’s still going to end up with hundreds or eventually thousands of dollars.

Too bad about the interrupted scrappy time but it will be nice to get the wall decor piece hung up. Oh, you don't know how my dh works... Got the piece in the living room, found some tools, measured. I moved the table out of his way. Then he discovered that he "may not have" the proper screw to put into the wall .... And then the plumber (finally) arrived to install the dishwasher. And dh sent him away before the final attachments b/c he "can do that on my own." So now there are tools in the kitchen AND the living room; and I can't use the dishwasher until final installation is completed. I may run away from home... (Pack a scrappy GO bag and head anywhere there is peace and quiet and a flat surface...)

(Pack a scrappy GO bag and head anywhere there is peace and quiet and a flat surface...) That sounds as bad as mine. He has more work tools and supplies than I have scrapbook stuff and never has the one he needs. We recently replaced the brita filter that gets attached to the faucet. He took off the old one then couldn't find the right tool to attach the new one and said he was going to call the super to take care of it. No joke, I put on my dish washing glove so I'd have a grip and attached it myself...in about 45 seconds. I suppose he was correct in that he did not have a dish washing glove in his tool box, but seriously, it's ridiculous. Good luck!!

It is a lot and it's probably easier for you to just sell the items then it would be for him to want to make back some of the money, if that makes sense. The sewing machine sounds hard to pass up, I hope you can find room if you decide to keep it.

Kudo's on getting the stuff up on the site and in actually selling some of the lots. hoping you find a place for that sewing machine. Sounds like a piece that may provide utility and memories? Offer is still open to have you come over and liquidate all the STUFF in our basement

grammadee at least you got the plumber for part of the job. My DH thinks he can do everything... I'm curious to hear if you got it going. joblackford my dog is a pitbull. She's one big, chicken of a dog. Doesn't bark. Is super friendly. Loves cats. Hates the vacuum cleaner. I worked hard and got my work all caught up yesterday so I left work early and came home to scrap. Got four layouts done. And remembered my Flickr password so I was able to post them. I've got so much Scrappy mojo lately. Just not time to make magic happen. I might be in for March challenges too. I'm liking using up all my supplies.

Just not time to make magic happen. I might be in for March challenges too. I'm liking using up all my supplies. Yay for scrappy mojo! Too often the ideas are flowing when time is tight and blocked up when time is available. Do you keep notes of the ideas that come to you when you have no time to scrap? The wall decor is hanging. Dishwasher is hooked up and in place. I used it last night. Dh had some complicated plan to secure it to the cupboard opening, but I *think* I talked him out of that this morning. He says he is just going to attach the brackets and one additional place. I emptied it this morning so he can do that. I finished this morning the page that was in progress when all the chaos started yesterday. It needs to dry before I can photograph it. Have its facing page on the scrap counter. Yesterday, I knew what I wanted to do with this page, but those ideas are gone. Oh well. I have lots of choices of supplies to use, and I know I need to add journaling on this page, and should check with dd (who took these pic's) before I do that. I have some ideas for another LO b/c I was wandering around Pinterest last night. Thinking there might be a way I could make that one work for today's 29-4-29 challenge... Hmmm...

Do you keep notes of the ideas that come to you when you have no time to scrap? I have a book of graph paper. I sketch it out. ETA: that's how I always planned for a crop too. Page kit, pictures, embellishments and then my sketch, thrown in a plastic bag.

Work has ridiculously busy for so early in the year this week. I am probably going to end up with 7 hours OT and no hours scrapping till the weekend. So happy the month ends on the weekend though! Time to get maybe one more LO in! christinec68 and jeremysgirl yay for the return of scrappy mojo!! teacherlisa that is a lot of organizing points! Organizing can sometimes make me want to scrap. There's something to that having a clean, organized space that sparks creativity.

Wrapped up February with a bang--6 pages for me today: all Valentine related. (Had to grab those points while I still can!). I have added up my points for the month: 934. I know I won't be able to finish the rest of the 28-4-28 challenges, but for any of you who think you can do that before end of day, Friday the 6th, can wait until then to let joyfulnana know your total. (Projects completed in March will count towards your MARCH team total, except for the bonus points for 29-4-29--5 per challenge + twist and the 50 point completers' bonus)

Thank you all for a great, fun and productive month! I couldn’t have done it without all of your lovely comments and encouragement! I posted my last two cards but will have to add to my total tomorrow. I’m exhausted, I left my house at 9:30 this morning to drive to my parents house and then my nephew’s birthday party. I just got home a little after 10

1270 for me - I feel a bit like I cheated with that because it's ALL from the organising challenge (scanning photos and slides and memorabilia) and none of it is actual scrapping
Hopefully in March I can play with paper a little
