I quit my project. I usually am one to see these types of things through, but we moved and things just got too hectic to keep up during the move. I was posting daily for the first 40ish days and I continued creating through the move and had planned to catch up on my instagram once we got settled, but I got a week behind in posting/photographing my projects and realized it felt like such a burden to catch up. So I revisited the WHY behind my project, which was to create more, complete projects that I have in progress, and try new types of crafts/project ideas. I realize I have done that and I am still doing that, and the 100 day project wasn't helping me anymore instead it had become a chore that prevented me from working on the projects that I really felt inspired to work on in the moment to do something that would be interesting for my post (e.g. not work on the same project two days in a row). So I let it go and it feels good.
I really liked the idea of doing one project per day and maybe I will use this same idea in the future when I don't have something as big as a move going on in my life. But maybe I need a more structured project to really make the 100 day project work for me. Either way, right now just wasn't the right time and I'm okay with that.

lasteve1, 100 day project doesn't actually mean you have to finish 100 projects. I and I know several others that work on something, the same thing until it's done. It may mean I spent 4 days on a scrapbook layout. 10 minutes a day. It does stink for the IG documenting and I let that fall behind very quickly. I'm impressed you kept it up even through the move!! Glad you are moving on to what works for you.

Glad you are moving on to what works for you. Oh yeah, for sure, it doesn't have to be 100 projects. But, for me, the way I had formatted the project for myself this year was focused on the instagram documentation of the project as the project itself... I do create something nearly every day as it is, but I tend to do a lot of the same projects and wanted to use this to force myself to branch out. So, I was creating one thing per day that I could photograph an "in progress" shot and share on instagram. The idea was to make a mini book of the 100 project shots at the end. I didn't require myself to finish the project each day, but to have variety across days to push me from just working on the same things all the time (namely, cross-stitch and project life). I started the project with the idea that I wouldn't use the same project twice, but that became too much fairly quickly, so I just pushed myself to not do the same project within 10 days of each other. But, even with that, it just got to be too much and I found it to be more of a chore than an inspiration, to the point where it sucked the fun out of even the projects I would've been doing without the 100 day project, so I quit. I might try something similar again next year though, but next time with less stuff going on in my personal life so I don't get overwhelmed again.

I’m still active on the 100 day project. I’m on day 59. I am about a week and a half behind the official days but I am determined to complete my 100 days.
This is as far as I’ve ever calm and I feel such joy when I look over the things I’ve made.

Here are some more cards I made using coloured stamped images from my 100 day project. I'm still on track. Some days I just get 1/2 of something done, but it still counts. Cards More Christmas

I seem to remember that I started a bit early after someone told me they were going to start so that they'd finish on their fav holiday - July 4th. I started the next day. I think I've only missed a day or two, but I'm going to pretend I've forgotten that there's a finish line, which is easier since I haven't been counting days or sharing publicly, and just keep going. I still need to find a way to do drawings for longer, to take the time to learn specific skills and use reference images, and do them earlier in the day when I'm fresh instead of last thing at night, but having to pick up my Apple Pencil every single day has been a really good practice to get started with Procreate
