Finally broke down and purchased Yellowstone We really like it. Unfortunately dh goes to bed 2 hours before me so it’s taking a long time to get through. We started several weeks ago. It's one of those shows where you actually dislike most of the characters but can't stop watching. Tonight we'll watch the final episode of season 2.

Just for fun yesterday I put on St Elsewhere while I was crocheting a baby blanket for a friend's new grandbaby. OMG it's so great and cringe worthy all at the same time. And patients smoking in their hospital beds. Such a different time. But you think it's hard as a medical professional to watch shows like ER and Grey's sometimes, try watching a much older show like this one. Suspend reality!!!

I just finished Stateless on Netflix. I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it too. It tells just as much about mental health as it did about the state of refugees.

Just for fun yesterday I put on St Elsewhere One of my all time favorite medical shows. And what an incredible, all-star cast: Mark Harmon, Ed Begley, Jr., Howie Mandel, Denzel Washington, David Morse, Bruce Greenwood, Christina Pickles, William Daniels, Norman Lloyd, Bonnie Bartlett, Eric Laneuville, David Birney, Cindy Pickett, Alfre Woodard, Hele Hunt, Jane Wyatt, Patricia Wettig, Edward Hermann and a host of others who guest-starred in one episode.

Last night we finished Netflix’s 2018 The Haunting of Hill House. I loved it; creepy & mysterious. It was 10 episodes, about 60 minutes each.
Season 2 will hopefully be coming this October but it will be called Haunting of Bly Manor. Can’t wait for October !

I am very excited and hope this season is as good.

One episode had Gabe Kaplan (Mr. Kotter), Knickie from Grease, Martin Landau and Laura from General Hospital. Another had Mary from Little House, John Astin, Lyle Waggoner, and Horseshack from Welcome Back, Mr. Kotter. And I am only on episode 5 of season 1. I can’t wait to see who shows up each episode.

I’m ploughing through ‘Better Call Saul’ at the moment. He is an utterly despicable character but compelling at the same time.

I’ve not read every post so this may already have been mentioned. I’d recommend Below Deck, Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht. I binge watched every episode in less than a week. It’s a reality show set on luxury charter motor yachts in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. I almost never watch reality shows but there’s something about these yatching shows that pulls me in.

Haven't thought about this show in years, but was a big fan back in the day. I'll never forget the episode with the pregnant woman coming in with a gun to get the doctor who botched her DH's vasectomy. Her DH just told her he'd had the snip and somehow thought she might never find out he didn't. I don't know what this says about us but we love Jimmy! Me, too. I've been rewatching Schitt's Creek with DD and working my way through Season 10 of Shameless.

Just watched the first episode of Dr. Foster: Suranne Jones ("Coronation Street" and Scott & Bailey) stars as Dr. Gemma Foster in this mystery-drama series that leads the protagonist down a dark path. Dr. Foster seems to have the perfect life; she is a trusted GP, has many friends and a settled family -- until her husband starts acting suspiciously.
It was compelling enough that we will continue.
ETA: It is on Netflix

That's a bit of a stretch. I loved the final dinner party!

I binged I’m Sorry. It’s on Netflix. I would say if you like Working Moms, it’s a very similar type of humor-crass, raunchy and witty. I lol’d a lot.

Umbrella Academy season 2 is now available. I have a few shows to catch up on, but that's definitely on my watch list.

If anyone needs a blast from the past, I just started rewatching Desperate Housewives on Hulu. I watched it the first time around and am liking is just as much the second time. Plus side is that I don’t really binge watch anything, so this will keep me busy for a good long time

I truly have watched EVERYTHING ELSE on Netflix/Prime/Hulu Surely you jest. Is it that you only watch certain genres? Have you watched Bosch, The Night Manager, Mrs. Maisel, Sneaky Pete? If not, you are missing some of the best shows out there. I don’t have Paramount and I really want to watch this. Is it worth getting? cadoodlebug I started watching Bosch - LOVE IT! I've already watched 3 seasons in the past week!!

I'm totally hooked on the Below Deck series too, which I found quite by accident And I'm currently working my way through The Walking Dead. Never had any interest in it, I don't really like anything to do with zombies or aliens, but I'm enjoying this so much more than I thought I would. On season 6 now. since covid started I've binged Mrs. Maisel season 3, Orange is the new Black final 2 seasons, Santa Clarita Diet, Grace & Frankie (love love love!), Below Deck Med & Sailing Yacht, Upload (love!) and now TWD. Dh has gotten me to watch Animal Kingdom but I'm not really enjoying it that much

I finished Lenox Hill on Netflix. This was very a powerful and moving documentary of a NYC hospital following a group of doctors. It was fairly intense and as different patients were featured you really felt the helplessness and hopelessness of dealing with a critical illness.
The series wrapped after 9 episodes, but the 10th episode was filmed at the height of the NYC Covid crisis. A really insightful look inside a hospital.
I think if you know someone not taking the pandemic episode seriously, have them watch the 10th episode. Maybe they’ll reconsider their stance.

Dh and I love Better Call Saul. Dh didn't watch Breaking Bad and I keep telling knowing the characters makes BCS much more fun.
