We finished season one of Doctor Foster the other night. And now we're caught up with Yellowstone. I've heard season 2 of Doctor Foster can be missed.

I loved the final dinner party! This is in reference to Doctor Foster. I kept waiting for the final episode to see the dinner party. Oh.my.word. DH and I were loving every minute of it! The uncomfortable looks and then when Gemma started talking...

I had to buy Yellowstone on amazon. I’m on season 3. It’s pretty good.
My friend told me about a show on the history channel called Alone. I’m going to check that out next.

I just watched season 1 and 2 of Derry Girls. OMG I loved it. Michelle is my spirit animal 😂 Anything else you’d recommend similar to this? Have you watched MRS BROWN’S BOYS or LITTLE BRITAIN.... not for the easily offended....

For any art lovers out there Home is Where the Art is, is a great watch. It’s a BBC show. 3 artists pitch a piece of their artwork to the clients. The artwork has to fit the clients brief. The client chooses 2 pieces to be made and at the end chooses 1 piece to buy. It covers many different crafts, painting, glass work, stone, wood, metal sculptors, wool crafting etc etc. It’s great to see the finished artwork.

It's not on Canadian Netflix anymore Little Britain isn't available either.

I can’t think of anything quite like it. It’s a stretch, but maybe try Sex Eduaction on Netflix-coming of age, odd assortment of characters.

I'm so excited to find Murdoch Mysteries on Netflix Canada. I wasn't able to keep up with it when it aired in Canada.
I got BritBox just so I could watch Classic Doctor Who. The Blurays they are coming out are too expensive for me to buy. Now I can catch up on what I missed (Tom Baker is my first Doctor. Saw all of Doctor 5 also when younger).

The uncomfortable looks and then when Gemma started talking... It was a great scene wasn't it? She just kept dropping bomb after bomb. I do with they had ended it at series one though. In series 1 she was tough and strong, later they made her weaker, clingy & a bit pathetic.

My friend told me about a show on the history channel called Alone. I’m going to check that out next. OMG, DD recommended Alone. There are 7 seasons. Season 6 is on Netflix. It is addictive as in “okay just one more episode before bed.” 🥱😴 We are having so much fun texting with DD about the participants. Then we found seasons 1 and 2 free on Amazon Prime. All other seasons are pay for play.

I finished Killing Eve seasons 1 & 2 on Hulu. I found season 3 on AMC but on August 1st it disappeared. I'm not happy. Does anyone know if there is anywhere to watch it that is free? It's also not on demand on BBC America.

I actually loved it, it was ridiculous in many ways but quite entertaining. I love their messed up relationship. Kind of Gone Girl-ish dysfunctional.

I, too, loved Dr. Foster. I am watching In the Dark on Netflix now. It took me an episode to get into, but I'm enjoying it now.

Sorry, should have said: I've only watched Season 1. Not sure I knew there was a second season (until this thread).

I just finished Selling Sunset. Seriously flew this drama and all. I’ve seen enough Real Housewives and I don’t think I’ve disliked anyone as much as Davina. Whoa, she is a piece of work. I mean I don’t like Christine either, but nothing she does is surprising. Davina though, she is something else.

I enjoyed both seasons. They were about to start filming a third season just before lockdown. Suranne Jones (Dr Foster) says that she doesn’t think there will be a third season now as it was so difficult getting all the cast available at the same time.

I agree, I really dislike Davina, she is such a bitch. Christine is a narcissist. Apparently she is very annoyed because they didn’t air much of her wedding. She was fuming that Chrishelle’s story got more air time!

Love on the Spectrum on Netflix is SO GOOD. A short series about adults on the spectrum trying to find love. There were 2 men that I fell in love with and want to adopt - they melted my heart (Michael & Mark). It is really a sweet, fun show. DH and I watched all episodes in one evening.

We’re binge watching an older Australian series at the moment, Rake. It’s fun, not mindblowing good, but light and entertaining. I can’t get over how much the main character looks like Jack Nicholson. Not in looks so much as in mannerisms.
ETA: Netflix

Watched a cute show on Netflix last night, "Pick of the Litter". It is a documentary about 5 puppies who are trained to become guide dogs for the visually impaired. Some of the dogs had a "career change" because they were deemed unsuitable as guide dogs. Very fun and interesting.

Part of it was filmed in the town I live in. Two of the people seen in the documentary have been part of guide dogs for a long time. One was a Creative Memories consultant and she was never without a puppy that was being trained.
