WHOEVER IS MARKING THIS THREAD OLD THREAD, STOP IT!
With people staying in their homes, seems a lot of us will be watching lots of shows on streaming services. Most that I'm recommending are original content for those services. I know there are lots of network shows that are showing on them. Also thousands of movies.
Tell us about your favorites!
For us on Netflix: (I'm not listing all the fabulous British shows ~ Happy Valley, Luther, Broadchurch, etc. ~ that we loved because they are no longer available on Netflix. They can be seen on Brit-box.)
The Crown Body Guard Bloodline Collateral
Prime:
The Night Manager Bosch Sneaky Pete Mrs. Maisel Jack Ryan The Americans (older) Six Feet Under (older)

We've been really enjoying The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. It's very clever and funny. Warning: Gory and running theme of satanic worship. The first seasons of Outlander are on Netflix.
We watched the 1975 movie "Three Days of the Condor" last night with Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway. Great movie that stood the test of time, except for the technology part which was still fascinating.

The opening sequence is chilling!

I love Wentworth on Netflix. It's on a regular Australian channel, but in the USA it's on Netflix. The acting is fantastic. The first 3 episodes are so are very standard-women's-prison, but after that it picks up and you really start to care about the characters. It really takes off in the 2nd season. I won't spoil it, but last season was a tear jerker.
Also, if you don't have Showtime then you can watch Shameless on Netflix. It's my favorite show. It's so good and William H. Macy is great in the role he plays. For those that do watch Shameless, did you know that Emmy Rossum played Christine Daae in the movie version of Phantom of the opera? She's a really good actress.
One more. I'm a huge fan of The Fab Five (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy)on Showtime. It's a feel good show.

Yes! Can't wait to see what you all come up with. I let Netflix go because I wasn't using it. Just re-subscribed 2 days ago. I'm on Season 1 of The Crown (I know...I'm late to the game) I watched Ramie (I think its' on Prime) back in early winter, really enjoyed it! Mrs Maisel on Prime

I am watching Containment on Netflix cause I am kind of twisted that way. So I searched for that on Netflix... I'll probably give it a look. lol. Also, other suggestions related to it: "Outbreak", "Pandemic", and "Carriers".... oy. Maybe I should do a re-watch of "West Wing" instead.

At the moment I've continuing my rewatch of "NCIS" on Netflix. I've seen them so many times now that I skip over episodes that I don't like. lol
Someone told me about a Netflix show called "I Am Not Okay With This", which is set in Pittsburgh. It looked like it might be intriguing. I'll give it a look because I grew up in Pittsburgh and I'd like to see the city.
Otherwise I'm going to start the Marvel movies on Disney+, watching in the order that they were released because I know almost nothing about the Marvel universe.

We really enjoyed Derry Girls and are looking forward to the next season being released, whenever that might be.
A new favourite is Brokenwood on Acorn TV which I believe you can access through Prime. I think it has a 30 day free trial and then it's around $50 a year CAD.
I have watched a couple episodes of I'm Really Not Okay With This and like it enough to continue.

Okay. I am going to share the best show ever on Amazon Prime. Prime sneaks commercials randomly into the show so that's weird, but this show is drop-dead hysterical. If you don't like it, you must never, not never ever (!) share it with me.
Miranda
You all know Miranda Hart? She is a British comedian. She is Chummy on Call the Midwife and played the sidekick on the movie Spy with Melissa McCarthy. She is hysterical. Just hysterical. She plays a 6'1" misfit whose mom wants to marry her off and she has a thing for an old friend Gary (Lucifer - from the TV show) who moved into the shop next door to hers. Her best friend is a tiny thing named Stevie who loves someone super famous named Heather Small (whom I have never heard of but is apparently very famous) and if you watch 3 episodes you will be hooked. The first episode is a bit odd as the humor is very OTT, but you will seriously fall in love by episode 3. The cast have an amazing rapport. I am watching it all over again with my 23yo daughter and she is in love as well.
I also really liked the Paul Rudd "Living with Yourself" show on Netflix. I found that funny and creepy and thought-filled. Loved his Irish wife. The story (not giving anything away): Paul is tired of his boring life where he just can't win. He goes to a Chinese hole-in-the-wall place for rejuvenation and wakes up to find he was cloned. He - the original - was supposed to die, but he did not die, so there are two of him walking around. The original, him, and the fabulous new version. It is very interesting.

Offspring (Netflix)which is a Pea favorite so if you haven’t watched you must
Lovesick -(Netflix) BBC show that IMO is totally underrated. It’s so funny, but obviously not for kids
On Amazon there’s a good family movie that’s kind of hidden called Twelve. If you have kids in organized sport, definitely take a look.
I’m sure there are more, but not able to access at the moment.

Over the Garden Wall on Hulu is one of my favorite cartoons, it works out to be as long as a movie, under 2 hours but so witty and fun.
I am rewatching Quantum Leap through the NBC app.
Just started the Stranger last night, really like it.
There was a show with Tony Danza and Josh Groban on Netflix that was fluffy fun, A Good Cop.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was funny.
