Poldark. I don't really care for the show. I just like the lead actor. I could just watch him ride a horse for hours every.single.day. Or in a field with a scythe I'm going to re-watch Ozark - I think the next season is coming out on March 27. That's not far away!!

If you like scandinavian crime series, there should be a series called Deadwind in US Netflix as well.
It is Finnish. I really liked the first season and I'm waiting the second season to be released here. It is going to make this home isolation little better.

My favorites on Netflix:
Ozark British Baking Show Schitt's Creek (it took a few episodes until I started liking it) The Crown (Season 3 was a let down for me)
Ken Burn's documentary on the Vietnam War was a heavy subject, but it was fascinating.

We're watching Band of Brothers which originally aired on HBO in the early 2000's. Lots of stars from other shows. At the beginning of each episode they have actual survivors of WWII who were in Easy Company, relating their experience. The series was produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

Miranda You all know Miranda Hart? She is a British comedian. She is Chummy on Call the Midwife and played the sidekick on the movie Spy with Melissa McCarthy. She is hysterical. OMG, Thank you for the recommendation! “Bruschetta McCorcandale...that’s a real name!” Bwahahahaha!!!!!! oh, and Tom Ellis is yummy. As you were.

Netflix: Hart of Dixie Peaky Blinders Thanks for this thread Gosh, I loved Hart of Dixie. Just so darn cute and mindless. I'm always sad when shows that I love end but it was time. Netflix: Watched first season of High Seas (Alta Mar) and LOVED it. Will definitely be watching more. Starting Velvet soon. Both are Spanish TV shows and I have to have subtitles on because my Spanish is limited and I am used to hearing Cuban, Puerto Rican, or Mexican dialects more than Spain. High Seas is a mystery set aboard a steamer ship just after WW2. Sets and costuming are gorgeous. The actors and actresses are not hard on the eyes at ALL. My sister recommended Velvet which is also a period show, late 1950's, about a famous fashion house in Spain. Again with the costuming...

Afterlife with Ricky Gervais. He wrote it and stars in it. I think season 2 is being released on Netflix around 4/22
Another Netflix- Billy on the Street. Billy Eichner from Parks & Rec goes around NYC asking dumb questions to people & celebrities. He sometimes has celebs do obstacle courses. He yells a lot. I can only watch a few at a time. I think it’s funny. Dh does not. He also doesn’t think Bad Grandpa or Jackass from MTV and I loved both of those. What can I say ? I have a teenage boy sense of humor at times.
I too am a big fan of Hart of Dixie.
Loved Peaky Blinders too.

At the moment I've continuing my rewatch of "NCIS" on Netflix. I've seen them so many times now that I skip over episodes that I don't like. lol Someone told me about a Netflix show called "I Am Not Okay With This", which is set in Pittsburgh. It looked like it might be intriguing. I'll give it a look because I grew up in Pittsburgh and I'd like to see the city. Otherwise I'm going to start the Marvel movies on Disney+, watching in the order that they were released because I know almost nothing about the Marvel universe. Darn I wish there wasn’t such a licensing issue between Canada and Netflix. We are hooked on NCIS reruns here but they are often all over the map, so it would be great to watch from the start. It’s on Prime starting with Season 9! So that’s no help! Same thing happened with Bones - we resorted to buying the full series on DVD lol.

I recommended it to my sister who said she felt sorry for Miranda!!! She missed the ENTIRE POINT!! Miranda shows how you can be different and still be happy. I felt a little hostile towards my sister after the whole thing. (I love my sister to pieces!) Miranda is my favorite!

I just started watching the Great British Baking Show over the weekend, and I am hooked. I find it so relaxing and soothing to watch. No drama, no nastiness. I just love it so much.

I LOVED this. So disappointed that it’s only four episodes, but it’s absolutely worth watching. The actress that plays Esty is amazing.

I just started binge-watching Schitt's Creek on Netflix. It took me a couple episodes to get into it, but it is hilarious! I also watched three episodes of 100 Humans on Netflix. It is an entertaining, fun, and interesting (to me) social "experiment" using 100 people to study and illustrate differences among the sexes, age groups, etc. I really like the three hosts that run the experiments. My entire family (& some friends) loves Schitt's Creek so we gave it a chance. We're on the 2nd season and we barely chuckle. I get that it's dry humor, but it's all so boring to me. The daughter and mother are too annoying to watch. Love the husband and son (they're actual father/son IRL) but even their characters get boring. This would make a cute movie, but an entire series!?? Nope!!!! I keep trying to like it but it's far too predictable and boring for me. DH, who laughs at everything, barely laughs at this, and DD gave up already. We have to finish watching the Hillary documentary. I tend to just watch concerts on YouTube. I'd rather see/hear concerts than invest my time in boring or violent or gross movies or shows!

It’s based on an actual family.

This is a very fun comedy, starring John Cleese!
"Hold the Sunset" (on Britbox and Amazon)
trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HozxfFHnX00 --------------------------------------------------Another Netflix- Billy on the Street. I can only watch a few at a time. teddyw ....Ohhh, I LOVE "Billy On The Street!" He is hilarioussss, and not only yells, but talks SOOO fast! I know what you mean about only watching a few in a row---it's exhausting (but in a good way).
I keep meaning to google HOW they are able to film him running so far with a corded microphone on busy NYC streets ? !
