We just started Upload & are loving it. Recently finished The Mandalorian, Mrs. Maisel, and halfway through Virgin River. Love Money Heist too but haven't started the latest season yet

scrappintoee , I love John Cleese. Monty Python was a great show. Have I mentioned Wentworth? Really good Australian show. After a couple cheesey episodes it gets quite compelling. We're almost done w/season 1 of Dead to Me. Love it, too. I'd heard about " Wentworth" here on 2peas, tried watching it and did NOT think I'd continue, buttttt, then I got HOOKED! I cannot WAIT for the next season after that cliffhanger !!! " Offspring" is one of the BEST Australian series, too!!! I also love " Dead to Me" is good, and I'm bummed that the seasons are so short. ------------------------------------ OMG, recently got hooked on a murder mystery " Bloodline" (Netflix). Sooo good !!! I wish they would have had several more seasons. Anyone else watch the murder mystery "The Sinner?" (Netflix). I think they have too many episodes---just tell us "whodunnit" already! I RARELY say I want LESS epis, but in this case---yes!

We just finished Outerbanks on Netflix and really enjoyed it. The scenery is stunning and the show reminded us of a cross between Dawson’s Creek and Riverdale. Fun show to watch during the summer.

" Offspring" is one of the BEST Australian series, too!!! Have you watched Wanted? It is also Australian and I fabulous! OMG, recently got hooked on a murder mystery " Bloodline" (Netflix). Sooo good !!! I wish they would have had several more seasons. Bloodline was great! Wasn't as thrilled with the final season though. Anyone else watch the murder mystery "The Sinner?" (Netflix). We enjoyed the first two seasons but quit halfway through the 3rd. Tonight we finished the final season of DCI Banks. It's a British Detective Crime show. Excellent! It is on Prime.

DH and I really enjoyed Upload on Amazon.
I’m just about done with Sweet Magnolias. Man, this show has a heavy dose of cheese, but it hasn’t stopped me from enjoying it.

Thanks for the Never Have I Ever rec. Will check it out.
DH and I enjoyed Into the Night recommended here by a PP, I believe. It'll be ages until a second season could be taped... but the short, 6 episode season was great.
I am watching Blood and Water. Really liking it.

. I did just finish and enjoyed a Russian series called Detective Anna on Prime, a bit different than other series I have watched. Also enjoyed many of the others mentioned already.

I hate to disappoint you, but there are a handful of cringeworthy characters with some really bad lines. But again, still enjoyed it.

Over the past couple months I've gotten into Nordic noir shows. All are subtitled and available thru Netflix or Prime. Dark? yes, but well written and stellar acting.
Trapped Valhalla Murders Deadwind Fortitude Borderliner
Plenty to watch and I still have several new shows in my queue.

You should watch the movie Headhunters, based on a Jo Nesbo novel. Hysterically funny, violent, dark, and excellent. I'm not sure where it's available for streaming -- we watched it on Netflix a few years ago.

scrapmaven.....yesss!!!! The finale of "Wentworth" was sooo sweet, but then.....that other character---OMG !!!!! My googling says it should return in August---I hope so! cadoodlebug ....Thanks for the recos. I started "Wanted" and am on epi 3. It's fun that they add a little humor with the ladies' very different personalities. It was funny when she thought the other was a criminal because "you have a TATOO!" Oh, and here they are, on the run from the police, under EXTREME stress, and she's worried whether the muffin is gluten free. I just found a good mystery tonight called "Secret Smile" (Prime). Ever since "Broadchurch", I have a weeee bit of a crush on David Tenant. It's fun to see him playing such a creepy character, and "Secret Smile" was made in 2005, so it's interesting to see how his face has changed.

Netflix - Selling Sunsets. I got completely hooked straightaway. I watched both seasons in two days. Yesss!!! The other night, I was having a verrry difficult time and needed something COMPLETELY mindless, vapid, etc. to watch. And, just like in season one, there is something I don't like about Chrishelle, but I can't figure out WHAT it is? The major narcissist (name?) just cracks me up with how in love with herself she is !!! Thankfully, watching them took my mind completely off of my troubles for a while! P.S. What did you think of their WEIRD, ugly spaceship-esue desks?

I can’t believe no one has mentioned New Amsterdam on Prime. I haven’t been able to settle to watch anything for months, but this show hooked me immediately. I love all of the characters, they are so normal, and dedicated, and just lovely! I love how inclusive the show is too. I’ve slowed down during Season 2 because I don’t want to finish it too soon. 😊

I think you are talking about Christine, she is such a compelling character, very good to watch on TV but I wouldn’t want her as a friend! It’s amazing how much she loves herself! I did enjoy seeing all her different hairstyles though And watching her walk in those shoes! I hated the ugly space wasting desks, obviously chosen by the guys. Loving the houses though .

I started watching Kim's Convenience (a Canadian comedy) and watched an entire season over the weekend. LOVED it!! I knew the main actor and it was so funny at first to hear him talk with a Korean accent, because he's done theater and does not have an accent (ha ha - he has a Canadian accent!). I love all the characters!! I really, really enjoyed this show and love a 21 minute show

The humor, the terrifying drama, the difference between the two women. It grabbed us from the first episode and were really sad when it ended.

"Unforgotten" (Prime / (maybe) PBS, Britbox ? ) VERY good UK murder mystery! So many twists and turns! For those that don't have Prime, it was made by PBS; so it might be possible to watch it on their website. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TnDy1dVlHg
I enjoy the tiny bit of humor ("humoUr") they add to each epi, since it's such an intense/ gruesome subject. One of the detectives has a teenage daughter, and he shares funny / stressful situations about her. His partner's kids are college-aged, so she commiserates with his stress of parenting teenagers. In one epi, she tells him "I'd like to tell you it gets better.......but it doesn't"

I started watching Selling Sunset on Netflix. Seems like the realtor version of the real housewives, which I don't watch. Houses are amazing.

We loved the parents and he actually said "sneak attack" in a convo the other day and we cracked up about it. So funny.

So much bad teenage angst and atrocious acting (Ox from American Pie and Britney Spears' sister -- I'm looking at you two) but definitely did not stop me watching the whole thing over the weekend.
