Im not bored yet. But I dont have little kids to entertain either. DH and DS1 go to work (both essential) and DS2 is at his dads most of the time. So I get to do whatever I want (or dont want to do). Ive scrapbooked, read, cleaned house, watched movies, etc. Next week I will start my flower beds.

I'm rarely bored. I have so much to do, so much to think about, so much to plan, so many ideas. I'm not necessarily motivated to do the things I feel I ought to be doing, but bored? Nope.

I had all of last week off and it was glorious. I was definitely not bored! Now I'm working every other day and still not bored at home at all. I'm just sick of cooking lol.

I'm actually doing pretty good so far. It helps that I've gotten out of the house just enough (like going for a drive) to not go completely stir crazy. With school being online the kiddos have some more structure to their day now so that helps. I've started reading again (I go in spurts), but I haven't gotten back to scrapbooking. I am getting tired of cooking and washing dishes although it does keep me busy lol.

I so wish I was bored! LOL DH is a pastor so we have moved everything on line (adults, prayer meetings, kids classes, teens...) and he and I are the ONLY ones who know how to do all of this. Add in all of the checking we are doing on both church members and people in the community and we will NEED some social isolation when this is all done. I have never talked so much in my life! (Introvert here) So bored we are not. Plus with our teens home there is a lot more cooking and cleaning to do. Oh, hobbies - where did you go??? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg)

Nope. I still have work, and all the same stuff. And I love being home anyway, so aside from a few take out lunches at work, and maybe a pizza delivery once a week, I’m not missing anything yet. I have scrapbooking, reading, tv/movies, cooking, laundry, and the family keeping me plenty busy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

My thought is that they just don't have other interests. Now would be the time to look into doing other things. Really??? I think being bored means different things to different people. Many of us who are "bored" can't do the things we normally do like visit our foster families as CASA workers, take a niece or nephew for the day, etc. Hard to "look into" other things when you are supposed to stay at home

Y As long as I have books I will never be bored. Seriously though, between normal house stuff, cooking, taking care of the cats, doing school online, peaing, games with my husband, scrapbooking, other crafts, and puzzles I have plenty to do! I get up at 6, go to bed around 11 and don’t feel bored at all. I am just afraid I will get used to this!
I do have a coworker who doesn’t read or do anything creative, I can’t imagine what they are doing all day.
Boredom is not a problem for me.

Not bored at all. I'm LOVING being able to do some stamping. I'm blessed with about a gazillion stamps, most of which have never been used, so here I am stamping merrily away. Got my Christmas cards planned and the stamping done. Once they are dry I'll pull out the Copic markers (I keep wanting to call them COVID markers ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) ) and start coloring. LOL Covid markers~~ I am scrapbooking

I completely understand what you’re saying. I wish I had a chance to be bored. I’m WFH, and while I don’t have the commute I feel I’m working more than ever. Don’t get me wrong, I truly appreciate being able to continue receiving a paycheck, but I would like to have more of the free time others seem to have gained right now and I’m feeling a little envious.

I am definitely not bored. My mind is often scattered by what is going on and I'm not as focused as I'd like but there is plenty to do. Since spring has arrived, if I can't find enough to do inside there is always yard work.

I guess I would take advantage of this time to find what I could learn at home. With the internet and so many offering free classes I’d take advantage of it to learn something I always wanted to learn. My friends are learning how to hand letter, cook/bake things they’ve never made before, drawing/painting classes, etc. No it’s not the best but they’ve decided to try something that they’ve thought about.

Nope. I’ve cleaned and weeded out. I’ve been playing my instruments. I’m teaching online. I also have a store on teachers pay teachers, so I’ve been busy adapting resources and helping teachers to use them via distance learning. I’ve been cooking new thins, reading books, etc.
And, of course, watching those tiger people and their train wreck lives.

So not bored. More cooking and cleaning than normal and that takes up time. Same with trying to plan around grocery pick up and what you can actually get adds a new level to meal planning. Two extra people home during the day to feed and clean up after. Happy to not have to iron my husbands shirts until he goes back into the office as I just finally finished them today ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) . There are just so many things I want to do and never enough hours in the day that never seems to change. I did get a bit stir crazy but doing better now that the weather is improving just spending time in the back yard helps.

I'm not bored, but I don't have the motivation to focus on tasks that take a lot of thinking (reading, scrapbooking, organizing). I find myself doing low brain stuff (repeat knitting, TV, crap on the internet, puzzles for 10 minutes) instead.

For the most part, my life really hasn't changed. The only thing it has put a damper on is date nights with the hubby, but we are doing things at home to have time together.
I still find that I don't have enough hours in the day to get everything done that I want to.
The only really bad thing for me and my area is is that we have gotten an above average amounts of rain and we have been stuck inside. Hopefully that will change soon.

I am bored by the lack of variety in my days, and the fact that my anxiety makes me feel too mentally scattered to try many new things. I have work to do for school, but it’s the boring part, not the fun part. There’s plenty of housework to do, but that’s also boring to me, which is why I work outside the home. It seems life right now is an endless stream of tedious computer tasks for school and tedious housework at home, punctuated by little panic attacks and feeling constantly underslept.

I'm working from home full time, so the only "extra" time I have is the time I am not spending commuting. Ive been using that time to cook more involved dinners.

I wouldn’t say bored, but definitely restless. I am lacking focus and motivation. I have been doing a ton of those “when I get time” projects around the house. Lots of painting. But it all feels like chores all of the sudden. Too much focus on making meals and placing orders for groceries and it stresses me out.
I’m finding I’m not as much an introvert as I thought and I’m missing getting out of the house and meeting friends, going places, doing things outside the house for fun. I don’t want to start a new craft or make a new recipe. I don’t have the focus to read one of the books in my stack and I love to read when I can. I certainly don’t have the focus to take an online course and learn something new. Everything just feels so stressful. I do a lot of wandering and random things with no purpose.

OP I get what you're saying and I agree 100%. My 5 hr/day part time work is taking me 8 hrs to complete given all the stopping/starting to help 7 yr old with online learning and break up arguments between the kids! So, yes, managing it all, but there's a lot of "extra" that I'm simply not used to...more meal planning, cooking, cleaning, dishes!!
I feel like I'm way busier now than normal! I was really hoping to get to some Shutterfly books done or sit and crochet more and it is simply not happening! I do LOVE the extra time with the kids though...we are playing more games together, getting outside to exercise together and it's been very good for our family. I also love the kids not having homework....

Not bored here. In fact, I wish I had some dedicated alone time. I like to listen to books, but it’s really hard to do that. I volunteer to walk the dog just so I can be alone. Also I have serval groups that want to zoom regularly and I may have to end up saying no as I don’t go out that much when not sheltered in place-but online socializing is time consuming.

Not bored. I am thriving in this environment. I was barely hanging on in life when this all hit the fan. I don’t know what the next phase will bring, but, I have found myself again during this time. I absolutely regret the pain this situation has caused the world, but, this has been a precious experience for me to slow down and just breathe.
