I told my dh to inform his mom, Dad, sister, etc. a few weeks ago that we would probably have just our (adult) kids here for Easter dinner. Told my sister the same. Now, with the Stay at Home extended to the end of April, we told our kids that we would not be having dinner on Easter. DH and I will watch mass online from our parish and spend the day together. We will Zoom dinner with the kids - we can have dinner anytime. This too shall pass.
I have a feeling we will be seeing cars in many driveways of our neighbors.
What are your plans?

I'm just having dinner with my immediate family (husband and my kids who all live at home, all under 18). Who even knows if I'll be able to get a ham (I've been picking up groceries and don't always get the things I request). It is what it is! We may have a simpler Easter and grill some burgers.

We never got together with people for Easter before. I will make us something here. On my last trip out, I got a pack of ham slices, so maybe scalloped potatoes and ham, that is a favorite of DH. I wish I had looked at the Easter candy, but I was so edgy over being out I just wanted to get the list done and get home.

My DH is cooking. DS1, DIL and DGD will eat with us. I am doing their baskets and we are having a little egg hunt for DGD. Hr dress is so adorable it's a shame she can't wear it anyplace. But I will take lots of pictures.
DH is going to make ham loaf, a Pennsylvania Dutch favorite my family loves.

Just the 5 of us, and we can have whatever we want for dinner.
I have a feeling people in our area will be traveling and having family over for dinner. Our school district sent a text last week saying we will still have our spring break (4 day weekend) because parents were emailing the school and saying that they have plans to get together with family for the holiday. I hope the governors stay at home order for the state will keep them home!

I don’t have Easter dinner anymore, since my in-laws moved out of the area, but I do have Passover Seder (also next week). If it’s still on, I will not be attending. I did buy some matzoh, so I’ll eat that and think about Moses, etc., instead. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Just me and dh. I might do a ham because I'm planning a trip to Costco on Tuesday, first thing in the morning, and that will be the last time I go shopping for several weeks. If they have ham I'll buy it...I don't mind cooking that for just the two of us because we love ham, and there are so many things to do with the leftovers. My favorite is split pea soup. mmmmmmmmm

I think it’ll be a modified Thanksgiving for Easter dinner, just us and hope to have oldest out of isolation by Easter at least and back in the house. Will likely FaceTime my mom and sister and call my dad.

Just the people who live in my house. I ordered stuff online for the boys Easter baskets. DH got a turkey breast in our last Walmart order, so I'll probably cook that.

If there were going to be plans, they might have been my aunt having the family over to her house for Easter lunch. But since she's in one of the most vulnerable age groups, along with her siblings (including my dad), that's not gonna happen.
So, I will probably make up the box of scalloped potatoes I bought, cube up the ham steak to put in it, and make a side of scrambled eggs. Almost the same meal we would have had anyway.

It will just be dh, myself and the two teens (dd and ds).
Easter Bunny already had their basket gifts and I had dh get plastic gifts as I don't feel now is the time to dye eggs for hiding. We will hide the plastic.

We ordered food from a local restaurant and my mom is picking it up the day before. We dont know if we will eat together or separately. It depends on whether any of us have been in public. If we dont eat together, I will drive over and pick up our portion

We have no family within 1000 miles, so it's always just us for Easter. DH will probably grill something. I hate to plan that far out at this point.

I am having Easter with just my immediate family (which is how I prefer it anyway). I have already ordered everything for our meal - a local restaurant is getting it all ready and all I have to do is heat it up. I will probably make a homemade pie to go with it.

We usually go out to brunch. so I will just eat the contents of my Easter basket. I will probably make my husband something with Peeps for his dinner.

Dsil just came home from a grocery run with a small turkey. There are 4 adults and one little guy living in this house right now, and those will be the ones we cook Easter dinner with and for. Seems weird. We usually get together with dh's sister's family (6 adults and a teen) plus a couple of neighbours, for Good Friday (meatless at dsil's home) and Easter Sunday (turkey & ham and all the trimmings at our home). This year at least one of my ds's was planning to bring the family for Easter.
I have some egg colouring kits and enough eggs for the Friday or Saturday, and Easter treats for dgs, so he will be getting a visit from the Easter bunny.

This year, while I was buying TP in February, I also got around to buying my egg matzoh, matzoh ball mix and the Chocolate Bunnies for Easter. I have a brisket in the freezer, so we are set for both Passover and Easter morning. I even bought fresh horseradish for the Charoset.

I was hoping we would, but apparently it's been cancelled. So I will be here all by myself for Easter. Though my mom, who is wonderful, has sad she'll try to find a ham we can split. I was SO looking forward to ham for Easter. The other part, of course, was seeing my niece & nephew. Not sure how that will work; will see if my brother & sister in law will make time to FaceTime. Though the other thing I was going to suggest was FB Messenger video, because everyone has it. We all have FaceTime, too, but I don't think my mom will be able to work it without me there to assist her.

We usually go out of state to see family, but even if 2 of 3 parent sets hadn't already cancelled we probably still wouldn't go. I'm not sure what we'll do for a meal. I have a ham in the freezer, but I might look at some other ideas.

Easter bbq is cancelled.
I think I will do a drive thru pickup the day before Easter. I usually get a 2-3 meals out of one takeout meal, depending on where I go.
I am good on everything right now, but will need milk in about 9-10 days. When I go to the store, I might pickup a treat for Easter day. Probably a chocolate dessert of some sort, depending on what's available.

Prime rib probably as my dad gets to cook it. I am not sure how we will get it as the meat counter is closed. I will call and order it? The kids won’t’t be coming home.
