linkFor three years trump has blamed and criticized President Obama for just about everything. The latest being Obama had left trump with broken tests for the coronavirus, that didn’t exist when Obama was in office. For the most President Obama has been quite. But I suspect that is about to change. And I for one am glad. From CNN Politics.. “Obama to mayors on coronavirus: The biggest mistake leaders 'can make in these situations is to misinform'From the article... ”CNN) Former President Barack Obama on Thursday gave some advice to a group of mayors on how to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, saying that " the biggest mistake any (of) us can make in these situations is to misinform."Obama was speaking during a virtual meeting organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies. " Speak the truth. Speak it clearly. Speak it with compassion. Speak it with empathy for what folks are going through," Obama said, according to a press release on the virtual meeting.”Obama also pushed the mayors to bring in as many smart advisers and experts as possible."The more smart people you have around you, and the less embarrassed you are to ask questions, the better your response is going to be," Obama said.”Wouldn’t be nice if the idiot in the White House followed this basic advice for leadership.

always classy, thoughtful and articulate. over the last 3 years, somehow he seems even classier, more thoughtful and articulate.

I was a die hard Republican until this last election. I didn't vote for Obama because I thought he lacked experience (Senator from Illinois with little to no political experience) and I was afraid that his lack of experience would prevent him from being effective in bringing about bipartisan support. He had a bumpy ride but he was always articulate, thoughtful, and showed empathy. There were no scandals, he was able to show a sense of humor without belittling others and was a true family man. I was wrong about him and from now on I will look for a candidate who is a statesman with the above qualities and will bring back pride in our country. I am so embarrassed to be an American right now.

I really miss him, too. He is the polar opposite of the tweeter in chief. I hope we hear more from former President Obama and Michelle. I have so much respect for both of them.

I actually was not an Obama fan but I would GLADLY trade him right now!!! I mean I’d be downright giddy about it (Personally he seems really nice, it was just politics)!

I miss President Obama so very much! I would be willing to vote him in for a 3rd term. Heck, I’d vote him in for another 8 years. I go for longer, but I respect Michelle too much and I’m sure she appreciates him home.

I wonder if he was intentionally keeping a low profile during the primary contests until someone came out on top, and now that that's resolved, he can take a more active role in campaigning/just talking to us.

I am too. This buffoon, this poor excuse of a man we have in there now hasn’t got a single quality that I can respect. Not one! I am so ashamed that he was voted into office in the first place. If he gets a second term, I might entertain pushing for another civil war, splitting the country into Democrats and Republicans. If they want him, they can have him, just don’t make me have him.

You know, I almost wish we(Democrats) could make our campaign slogan, Make America Great Again , because of how far down the shitter we have gone with the idiot in charge!! Just as an FU to the current administration. Or Make America Respectable Again. Make America Articulate Again. Shoot, I could go on and on!! Well, maybe not the last one cause that would be MAAA... sounds like a sheep!!😂😂
Gosh, yes, I sure do miss Obama!

What I love about this is that it's both great advice and also complete shade. Cuomo & Murphy both threw shade today. Perfect, heartfelt answers to questions that spoke volumes about what they did not say.

Many people would listen to them and Obama and it might make them reflect a little and decide to do better next time but somehow I suspect, not the man who most needs to do that.

That’s ok because if his pettiness in Chief ‘catches’ them complaining about him something might happen to our next shipment of ppe or something.
