I've never heard of one of these before, but after your post, I'm adding it to my list. What a great idea!
I can't think of anything else really. Barnes and Noble cards always come in handy. I would like some new dishes, but not Fiestaware. Not really my thing.

A new set of pots. My cheap ones have lasted 12yrs but are done. I love to cook so a new set would be much loved and appreciated.

I can't come up with anything to put on my list either. I try to add things to my amazon wish list through out the year but am drawing blanks. I actually removed some things I decided I didn't want. I added a few candy bars. Yes there is a somewhat local company and they are on amazon. Of course I had to put in the notes to buy local for half the price and which varieties I like. I also added drops and hot tamales from target the dollar boxes. I also don't want a lot of sugar as I am trying to loose weight but something I can eat a little of and be good is nice.
I just bought slippers because I needed them now and don't need lotion or bath stuff. We just moved so I found lots of things I forgot about and don't really want to add more stuff. I have tons of scrapbook stuff and wouldn't trust others to pick it out, same with yarn but again I already have a lot. I can't think of any kitchen gadgets that would get used. I do need a new watch so that is a possibility.
I love the idea of experiences and think that could be a possibility. No ideas at this point though.
I know I need to come up with ideas and fast as my birthday is in December to. People are finally looking at lists which I appreciate since I feel bad when I get something I know I will never use or wear so I feel obligated to add things to my amazon list.
DH and I just usually buy things we need throughout the year so it makes making a list hard. That and neither of us really are into a lot of stuff.

Just as a side note, I bought a pair of really cute cream coloured sparkly slippers for Christmas for myself. i just loved them. I knew they would be sold out by the holiday season. Well I told my dad I bought them and he went bat shit crazy. I am like WTF? I paid for them with my own money and you are mad. JFC get a grip.
Sigh. Even though I am not celebrating Christmas this year I thought I would buy presents for everyone. At this point, I have made other plans thanks.

Bumping as I am hoping to see something to add to my list to make my hubby happy. He wants a list for when others ask and to help him - I really can't come up with much of anything which I guess is good but ...

A trip to WDW. I don't want any stuff except for a nice Japanese mandoline. I have so much stuff, I don't want any more! I won't get the trip, but I am hoping I can keep my husband from buying stuff and just putting the money in the trip fund!

I would love new couches for our living room. We bought our current ones in 1991, and although the frames are still pretty solid, the fabric is pretty worn now. They are also both two-seaters, and I would love them to be just a bit bigger (so I can lie down flat to nap!)

I honestly have no idea what to ask for. I have so many gift cards for places like Anthropologie and Pottery Barn that I just haven't used because there's nothing I want! Maybe a wireless photo printer that prints directly from my phone or some new cookie sheets from William Sonoma since our cookie sheets have been used to death.

A few years ago, I really wanted an ipad. Maybe 3-4 years ago.
It was more than we usually spend on presents, but my birthday is in October, so I asked for it to be my holiday season present. We are a mixed family, so we give gifts for for Christmas and Hanukkah.
I figured birthday + Christmas + Hanukkah = ipad.
I got it. I'm happy. I can't think of anything else I need.
I'm pretty low maintenance. I'm hoping for things for the family's enjoyment.

I want some time to sit in the living room with the lit tree and some soft Christmas music and to just relax. I want time to read a few Christmas novels, even if they're hokey. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I want to snuggle up in blankets and watch a Christmas movie with the kids and have no one complain that the other kid is bothering them. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Q_m8lDOvc_3Le3r1GKdf.jpg) I want to take our Christmas overnight trip and have it be DH who does all the planning, packing and unpacking. For the builders to finish on time, in the next 2 weeks, so we can be back to normal by Christmas. If we are allowed outrageous wishes, how about that the next (hopefully the last) project we have in mind, planned for next year, goes off without a hitch?

I'm reading this thread to get ideas since I have to make a list for the very first time. It's hard making a list. I'm used to people just getting stuff that they know I would like, so actually listing things is hard. The only thing I've come up with is a waffle iron. I guess I could ask for the LEGO travel van. It's so much easier when people just know rather than dictating "you must buy me this".

Only one child here so I will change that to not hearing that he is bored. I really would just like a low key Christmas and doing fun things but I know that others want to know what I want and it has to be something they can buy. DH pretty much knows that I want to do most of what you said above plus play a few games and do some Christmas activities and go to look at lights.
