I haven't seen ours yet. Right now, it'll go into a savings account until we know if DH's job is going to weather this. I can't remember if he's the most recent hire for his department despite having over 5 years there or not. I think he's the only other licensed PE in his department so they may hold onto him.

Not expecting anything due to hubby's income. It'd be nice if I got one since I'm disabled, but I guess that's not happening.
Re: the question above about income. My understanding is that over $70 000 in income you still get a check up to a certain point, but it decreases in amount.
Edited to add: Just checked the website and apparently we should get something (not very much I don't think, but still). Apparently the cutoff point for married couple is somewhere between $150 000 and $198 000 (I can't make sense of it).

Mine is showing as pending until 4/15! We didnt get the full amount because we make just over the max, but with the 2 kids we're at ~$2931. I feel bad because DH and I still have our jobs and are both just working from home, so our financial situation hasn't changed. But his job isn't the most secure so it will be good to sock it away. We need a new car, too, so that's pending. Kind of shocked that it actually might arrive! How did you get anything if you were over the maximum income level? They’ll deduct $5 from the stimulus payment for every $100 over the maximum AGI amount (depending on your filing status), up to a certain limit. After that limit then there will be no stimulus payment issued, unless there are qualifying children. On our 2019 taxes our AGI was about $15K over the maximum to be eligible for the full stimulus payment - $1200 each for me and my husband. So they’ll take about $750 from the $2400, then add $1000 credit for our two children under 17, and we’ll receive a stimulus payment of about $2650 total. Clear as mud, right .

I talked to someone in the know who said that the checks are being issued to those with the lowest incomes first. The live checks are being disbursed that way. The direct deposits are not.

Stittysgirl- thanks for explaining that! But if you are married and make over $199,000 you get nothing- right? I think if you have the qualifying defendants you’d still get that? This is the stimulus calculator I used from Kiplinger. If you put in two qualifying children with a $199,000 AGI it shows you’ll get the full $1000 credit for the children. But if you start increasing the AGI over that amount it starts deducting from the child credit. So I don’t know exactly what math they are using there.

Checked our checking account, and it is there in a pending mode. Will probably be cleared by tomorrow.

Freudian slip? Seriously, I hate there’s so much confusion.

We owe every year and dh pays with a check so they don't have our bank account info. That means I don't have clue when we will get ours. They say they will have the thing up where you can enter your bank info by Friday. I guess we will see.

Anybody "in the know" have an idea on when Social Security recipients that do not have to file will start getting their stimulus checks?

I should be getting one but I don't know when it'll arrive yet. My job doesn't pay well, but I'm lucky to still have one, so my check will be going towards replacing my 11 year old computer. Definitely looking forward to that, I've been saving for a new one anyway and this will help a lot.

The IRS site that tells you when you will get your payment is up and running. According to comments on a FB article, many are having to enter their payment info even though they should have had it on file. www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

We got ours deposited today. Surprisingly, there was $500 in there for my daughter that is now 18. There seemed to be some confusion on whether she would be included.

I was just going to ask it that report was accurate - mind blowing if it is - what a damn spoilt child he is! I also read an appeal for the ones that can afford it to pass it on to Biden's campaign - can you imagine what Trump would say seeing all these cheque's being paid into the campaign funds with his name on them

We got ours today. Even though we did our 2019 taxes, our amount was based on 2018. I wonder if they use the higher of the two to give you an amount. We had some things in 2018 that we did not have in 2019 and that decreased our amount.

I thought kids over 16 weren't included? I know. I thought the same. I was surprised to see it so I’m wondering if others will get it also? This was based on our 2018 taxes because we haven’t filed yet, and she just turned 18 this February.
