My husband and I started doing puzzles a couple months ago with our 4 and 7 year old. We get them all at the thrift store and have yet to have a missing piece! It’s a little like gambling lol. When we finish we sign our names and date the inside of the box and take them back to the thrift store.

You all are putting me to shame. I was raised in the 1940s doing huge wooden puzzles. There was always one in progress. Who ever, whenever walked past added a piece or two or more...
I have an old Apple puzzle. It is a picture of a red glass apple on a red background. I have done it twice long ago. Might have to get it out and do it again, although I no longer have the box for reference.
I did just order a Heritage Pumpkin puzzle from Amazon the other day.. maybe I will open the box this weekend...

Puzzle dump…. I’ll add commentaries when I’m not on my phone. My little man did a puzzle from my parents that was MINE when I was a little. I'm 47 now! This is from my mom. She loves cats! (I did this one a while back and was looking for a puzzle to do and thought it would be fun and pulled it out- got the frame done, started on the books and my DD said- "Hey, you already did this one." Yes. Yes. I did. LOL
This one was a beast to do! This puzzle hoarder actually gave it away and said I didn't ever want it back. This one is from my DD's teacher. She loved it but hates puzzles. I made it for her and glued it up so she could frame it for her laundry room. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! It came with a squash one that I did too. Another from my mom with my fat cat looking on. This was fun! It's got letters on the back so I was able to sort it into wedges to complete. Took me about 5 hours. The colors on this one! It's one of my favorites! Another from my mom. This was a fun one to do too! The colors are awesome! I love Amy Stewart puzzles. This is a super old one that my mom gave me to do. The shaped puzzles are always a challenge. Fun one seeing all the old movies. Cars. This one took me a week(actually 2 weekends since I'm back in the classroom and don't have time during the week)! 2000 pieces all done by myself!

**GypsyGirl** , I used to wear some really funky shoes. There was a time when that would have been in my closet. For now I'll settle for puzzles. I'm currently working on this one:

Same here! Back in the 80's I had this pair of Paradox wedges! (I can't believe I found a photo of them!) I like that puzzle. I have 3 waiting to do this winter.

Eurographics Harvest Time Happy Thanksgiving to all the 2Peas’ puzzlers ! I love Eurographics jigsaws, especially the smartcut ones. I watched this site for this puzzle every day for almost a year. It was my white whale! A week ago it finally came back in stock, and after some hesitation over the price, I ordered it. The shipping was extortionate (Japan to the UK) so I went for the cheapest option which was expected to take six weeks at a minimum. It arrived today, one week after ordering it!

Is anyone still working on puzzles? Any new ones received as gifts? I put a few on my Christmas list and DD came through with one of them as a gift. It's John Derian's Dancing Butterflies. Made by Artisan Puzzles and the quality looks good so far. Cleared off the table this morning and have it set up and ready to work on this week. At only 750 pieces, hopefully it won't take too long.
