I have an ancient paper pad from Memento that I love using as a background for 12x12 layouts. Papers are cardstock weight, textured, and have subtle patterns but still monochromatic. Looking for more like this as I don't like the look of just plain cardstock as a background but don't always have enough B-side patterns, especially for two-page layouts. I've found the 'Dots and Stripes' collections but those are a bit too bold. Any one know of anything like my old pad or B-side only type paper pads? Thanks for your suggestions!

I don't have any suggestions but I like the idea of textured cardstock. I'll have to try it.

My first thought was simple basics from Simple Stories. But those are only about 6 sheets/set, so not as much value as your paper pad. They usually run $5.99/pack, but one of the most recent sets is selling individual pages and are currently on sale at ACOT for 79 cents/sheet. Simple Basics at ACOT

My friend pulled out that pack when we were doing an online crop. She got it at Tuesday Morning last fall.

IIRC I saw several of these paper pads at TM the last time I was there/a couple weeks before they closed. I don't recall the price, but I've bought (textured AC & Bazzill) cardstock packs there for $3.99 (25-ct packs) & $6.99-9.99 (100-ct packs) each. Hope it's still available at the OP's store(s), if available, once they reopen in her area.

I will definitely check Tuesday Morning when I can - thanks for the tip. I'd love this same pack again, wish it came more muted colors, too.

Definitely more expensive, but I love the style and the color choices. Thanks for the link!

It's possible that you just made a typo in your original post, but I wanted to point out that the company that made your cardstock is Momenta, not Memento. I mention it only because if you've been using Memento in your search, you may want to change your search terms.

It's not a company I see often so I didn't notice the name error. Thanks!

Maybe you'll luck out and they'll still have some!

Not in pad form, but BoBunny has done lots of cardstock very similar to that...the line is called Double Dot. It is textured, tone on tone, and really beautiful. Not sure how much of it is currently produced, but lots is available online at ACOT and Scrapbook.com. I recently stocked up
ETA: The selection at scrapbook.com is much better.

TM has a tone on tone pad from K&co, and a 6x6 version from Authentique. The Authentique one is more.primary tones
