#5 - Banners, Flags and Tags - 1 point/project #6 - May Flowers - if April Showers bring May Flowers, what do May Flowers bring? (Pilgrims, of course!) I've seen very few flowers here yet, but I know they will "Spring" forth soon! So in honour of the greening of the Northern Hemisphere, 1 point can be claimed for each CATEGORY of flower used on your project: 1. floral pp or PL card 2. flower die cuts or stickers 3. flower chipboard or thicker 4. flower doodling or stamping 5. dimensional (eg prima type) flower #7 - Entitled - Mix up those titles, use those stickers and thickers! 1 point for each sticker/thicker/font type used in your title beyond the first. Bonus point for each sticker/thicker you use that is more than 5 years old (use your best judgement) #8 - Pets and Animals - given how much joy animals are bringing the world at this time - from our own pets to the videos of animals wandering empty city streets - use animals on your project in some way, whether your pet is in the photos, or you have cute stamped bunnies jumping around your card!!! #9 - scraplift YOURSELF - find a layout or card of your own that you love and use the design again! #10 - Mother MAY I? - for 1 point, use the letters M-A-Y in your title. For 5 points, use the word MAY somewhere in your title! It could be contained in another word as well - dismay, maybe, mayday, mayonaise! #11 - Don't run with scissors - cut with them instead Fussy cutting, or cut a shape of your own. #12 - wearing a mask! In honor of a full month of wearing a mask all day long at work, use a stencil/mask on your project! 5 points, because, seriously, masks suck #13 - Seamstress. In honor of all those who have dusted off their sewing machines and made masks and scrub hats in the past weeks, put some stitching on your layout. Machine, hand, pen or embossed stitching all counts. But if you use thread, you can claim 1 point per colour!

#15 - Stamps - I've been on a stamp buying spree and have many sets that have yet to see ink. Use stamps on your LO, card, or project. I point per stamp and 5 bonus points for using a stamp that hasn't been used yet. Digital stamps apply here as well. I know digi supplies pile up the same way physical ones do! #16 - Cut it out! Use your electronic cutter or manual cutter. 1 point for each use on a page/card/project. #17 - Use what you bought - I seems quite a lot of us are shopping a bit more during this time. Use something you've purchased recently. Since the first of the year, - add a bonus point if it's something you've purchased since Stay At Home orders were put in place where you live. 1 point for each new to you product used.

#18 All Those Pretty Pattern papers! Being the fifth month, use at least five patterned papers to earn 5 points for each project, one point for any other number 1-4, 6-whatever. You get the drift!
#19 Coordinate those colored cardstock that you have in your stash. You've seen mine (last month's organizing thread). Use at least 5 colors for 5 points per project. Grab your color wheel and use a complementary, triad, tetrad, or split complimentary for 2 points. For an example of these definitions see this link for a color wheel.
#20 Along the same theme, use 5 photos on your layout to earn 5 points . . . and if it is a double page layout with five photos that counts, double page with 10 photos counts for 10 points. Some of us have lots of photos to scrap!
#21 Get out those ribbons, fibers, baker's twine and tie it on! One point for each different one used.
#22 Texturize it, either with pressure embossing or heat embossed ink your choice! One point for each technique used.
#23 Add some ink or splatter or something! Ink the edges, splatter a few drops, or use your stencils to create a pattern. Get messy!
#24 Blingy, bling, bling-- add gems, sequins, glitter, glitter paper, glitter washi, anything that adds a bit of sparkle.

You can cut the collage into big letters to spell someone's name, or a season, or and event, or something like LOVE. Use your collage on a page or card or some other project.

#39: THE BEST [DAY] EVER... I know we scoffed at that overused phrase before Covid. But now, can you look back at what type of day you remember as the best type of day? What are the simple little things that you miss doing? Places you miss going? People you miss seeing? *One point if you use the phrase "Best______ Ever" on your project. **Two points if the page is about an experience you really miss now that it is out of reach (either temporarily or permanently) ***An additional Two points if you journal AT LEAST TWENTY-FIVE WORDS about what you miss and/or why.
#40: Put your BRAND on it! Use those branding strips on your projects. So many strips of pretty pp, cute sayings that get trimmed off. Or, use ANY thin ( half an inch or less wide) strips of pattern on your project.
