I was looking at a recipe for chicken Marrakesh which I might try.
Any my new ideas or inspirations?

Beer and Gouda fondue for my book club! But that's probably not the answer you were looking for.

Roast Beef - there is a special on beef at the grocery store, so I am making a nice roast beef with mushrooms, carrots, onion and cubed potatoes.

Just made a crockpot full of chili yesterday. I might throw something in for Friday so we can eat between getting everyone home from school/work and heading out to trick or treat.

I am not using my stove, microwave or oven as they are new and I want them to stay that way for the new owners of my house. Pot roast tonight, tomorrow is chicken legs, with garlic and buttered Brusel sprouts. Jen

Chicken stock. I made a rotisserie chicken last night for supper and have the carcass going to make stock. I pretty much only use it to make stock and the occasional pot roast or stew. I need to branch out and try more things with it.

Italian Wedding Soup, Chile con Queso and a Pot Roast. I have company coming and I'd rather spend time visiting and having fun than cooking. I love my crockpot this week!

I love my crock pot! It is our favorite thing to cook in, have not used my oven for months!!!
My cousin made a pork (can be done using chicken) just a roast with a few cans of chilies tossed in and it makes the most flavorful pork that can be used for sandwiches, over rices, in burritos or tacos!

I made Pepper Steak yesterday and served it over rice. I used this recipe: link in the same way I use every recipe...lol. I don't use bouillon and planned on using beef broth but didn't have any so instead of that and the tomatoes I used some leftover tomato soup I made on Sunday. Turned out awesome!

I'm making Chicken and noodles tonight. I'll also make mashed potatoes and put them in a smaller crock pot to keep warm. Then I'll take the crackpots to our daughter's house so they can eat after DGS's hockey. Ill keep some for DH and I for our dinner - two family meals cooked at once. Love my crock pot!

Pork roast with carrots. No real recipe, just add my preferred seasonings, which includes rosemary.
Question for those who cook roasts in the crockpot. How do you usually cook yours, please? I tend to cook mine on high for 5 hours, but even though it is really good, it is a little dry. Is there a way for it to be fully cooked but juicier? Should I cook it part of the time on low? If so, for how long?
Thanks!
