The lack of hockey items. Baseball is almost as hard to find Now it's been a minute since I was looking for these 2 sports in particular, but right now I have at least 5 if not more different hockey papers, and baseball - I scrapped 5 big fat 12x12 albums of baseball and I still had trouble using it all up. The big problem with sports lines in general is the same as with school lines - Home run, Goal, Super Star, All Star, etc - my kid was usually not the one who did the scoring. I would switch home run to run home and get a picture of him crossing the plate. Scrappin Sports is really good for sports themes. So is Stamping Station. Karen Foster did all the sports if you can find any of her lines. Just about every mfg has put out football, baseball, soccer and basketball lines, and often times track and tennis. Sports like field hockey, lacrosse, ice skating, a bit less of those. Check your facebook marketplace and see if anyone is selling off scrapbook sports stuff. There also might be people on here who can help you out if you just can't find any, especially in those sports pads like Michaels sells. Sometimes you only need one or two sports out of them. Thanks for the tip about Scrappin Sports. I bought some hockey paper I hadn't seen before. DH does not thank you, LOL, as I had just told him my shopping was over for a while! I told him I lied. (He really does not care)

My biggest pet peeve is adhesive that doesn’t adhere. Drives me insane. If I was a conspiracy theorist, I’d say there was an underhanded agreement between companies to keep it that way. Which brings me to my new complaint They sure know how to make adhesive to hold dies on cardboard in packaging. It takes be forever sometimes to get the dies off & then clean the adhesive residue off the dies. Some brands they pop right off other brands it’s a long arduous process

The other thing that bothers me are wood buttons with foam adhesive so they are super thick. Why?

Die cut packs that don’t show the image of the contents on the back. I want separate packs of all die cut words. Adhesive that is crap. I’m looking at you, American Crafts. Close to my Heart catalogs that feature unrealistic staged model photos on the scrapbook pages with fluff journaling and uninteresting titles that say nothing. Be real or go home. I usually like their stamps but their designs of pages just fall flat for me. There’s no polish. There are no really outstanding designers who actually are passionate about scrapbooking. And 4 different catalogs a year is just annoying. I’ve talked to more than a few of their consultants who had no idea that Stacy Julian had a scrapbooking career before she started working for Close to my Heart. I miss Bazzill. I've had a couple of friends who have been featured in CTMH catalogs and promotional materials. I know that at least their pictures are real.

For those of you who mentioned the lack of sports that aren't the big 3, Scrapbook.com just got in some Scrapbook Customs paper that has a lot of the more obscure sports. And they have hockey paper- I love the one that is ice with blade marks carved in it.

White and cream in the same collection, or on my LO’s don’t bother me.
Gripe 1: Best Say Ever everything Gripe 2: too much pink/rainbows and unicorns Gripe 3: no numbers/punctuation on the alpha sticker sheets Gripe 4: not enough florals/leaves in the diecut packs

There is not enough true white in papers. Even companies that do nice bright primary papers often use an off white for contrast. Which then look off on my white cardstock. I desperately want Christmas papers that don’t have pink or light blue mixed in with the red and green, I think I’m just pining after a Doodlebug line from many years ago that was white, bright red, lime green and a darker green. That was all, and it was wonderful.

It is always "we" assuming couples, families, etc. Never "i" for single people Come on now, you know the only reason anyone would be scrapbooking is children! Single ladies need not apply! I hate to hear scrapbookers talk about their kids growing up so they are going to stop scrapbooking, as if not scrapping children means you have nothing to scrapbook. The bulk of my scrapbooking has been as an empty nester.

Very cool read. I am annoyed by all the plastic but I am not sure how else they would package it successfully. If you are going to do that way PLEASE make the adhesive strip to open/close stay sticky after one use. I hate storing my Thickers if they can't stay in the plastic sleeve.

-Not enough blue/ navy female scrapbook lines. -Not very many food related lines -Not enough Around the house/ around the yard type of lines -no 9x12 papers/ paper packs in paper lines (not yet, but hopefully...) -cost of stamps that might be used just a few times -thick anything, storing-prohibitive, I always take layers off my chipboard -trends that are overused to sickness -not enough chemistry and math papers, specific subjects, seems like school lines are oriented on grade school children -hard to find any embellishments for trips to art museums, museums of natural history, kids museums, etc. if there are some, it’s all about dinosaurs.

Gripe 3: no numbers/punctuation on the alpha sticker sheets I am dyslexic and struggle with grammar, etc... The lack of numbers/punctuation really bothers me. So the scrapbooking companies were never taucht basic grammar, lol.

He wanted to learn and fell in love with it. Still couldn't find him lines to scrapbook with. Thank gosh for digital.

Pocket pages where the pockets aren’t the exact size they should be. Albums that fall apart. Embellishments/stickers that don’t stick. That new collections don’t stick around very long.

I did find some 6X12ish ziploc style bags to put some in though!

Stereotypes & lack of diversity in products/images/themes/color palettes/etc.
Errors - spelling, printing, factual
Overly & oddly themed collections
Stickers & diecuts with white or clear borders &/or are misprinted/not centered
Stickers that don't actually stick

Not all Ballerinas like pink!
My dd danced Pointe for 3 years and I couldn't find anything to scrap for her because everything was pink and she loathes the color pink!

Bad choice of example on my part. Sometimes that works.
It still bothers me when a paper isn't a true 12x12. It's probably my greatest scrapbooking peeve. Everything else I can really work around or deal with. I stopped buying FPD because of it.
It bothers me a bit that ink sprays get clogged so easily. They're a pain to clean and sometimes I can't get it unclogged.
That they sell the latest and greatest thing that I buy and then a year or years later, the product has issues (yellows, fades, their adhesive doesn't work anymore (this only bothers me when it's already on my scrapbook page), it gets brittle and breaks, etc.).
Oh, and I know so many of y'all don't like the pink, but I really, really do. Sorry.
What company is FPD?

I have seen people trim off the long side of the Thickers packaging so you can pull out what you need from the side and still store it in its original packaging. Looks like it works well.

The other thing that bothers me are wood buttons with foam adhesive so they are super thick. Why? I just used a ton of some Jillibean Soup "wooden nickels" and peeled the foam off of every single one. And they are still super thick! Why do they need to be so thick in the first place? Another complaint-when the hole (presumably for hanging) extends beyond the branding strip in 6x6 paper pads. Paper that came not cut square from the manufacturer Glue that says it dries clear or matte but doesn't
