Do you think they will be included in their Black Friday sale, if they do any?

Do you think they will be included in their Black Friday sale, if they do any? SB.com have offers going through the year. They occasionally have around 20% off SB.com-branded products or a category of SB.com products. Albums + PPs were 20% off earlier this summer (or was it 15%?) so I assume the 9x12 albums + PPs will eventually also have such discounts when another offer happens.

Definitely not going to plan for 2020 to be 9x12 now...I wonder if they just didn't update the PP, yet or if those actually will be coming soon (running out of August, however). I think it would be nice if they do get them in stock for DD, though. I'm even more worried about a delayed restock when they finally get them than I was before.
Does anyone know what time (and zone) they usually update their website with new stock? I don't shop with them all that often and certainly not for brand new stuff, so I have that working against me. I'll definitely be a regular customer for the PP, though.

So I sent them an email last week and this is what I got back: Hi Susan, Thank you for contacting us. I'm so glad you are excited for these albums. I am excited too! We are hoping to have them in stock before the month is over. However, it is looking like it may be a bit later. If you haven't done so already, be sure to click on the "Notify me when in stock" button located above the product description. That way, we can let you know as soon as we have the albums you would like in stock. I hope this is helpful. Have a wonderful day!

UPDATE EMAIL FROM SCRAPBOOK.COM:
You signed up to be notified about our highly anticipated 6x8 and 9x12 albums and we wanted to give you an update. We appreciate your excitement - and we match your eagerness!
Unfortunately, due to the COVID19 pandemic and related complications with our factory, our release date of these albums has been delayed until mid-to-late November. While this is unfortunate and disappointing, we asked Santa if they will be here before Christmas and he gave us a jolly “WINK”.
The 6x8 Protectors have not been delayed and WILL be available for purchase next week! We'll send email notifications about the 6x8 Protectors as soon as they are available in the store. Then, in a few months, we'll send a notice regarding the 9x12 Albums, 9x12 Protectors and 6x8 Albums when they are available.
As a "thank you" for your patience, we will be emailing you an EXCLUSIVE COUPON CODE for extra savings on your first purchase of the 9x12 and 6x8 Albums in November. We understand that this news may be unexpected and disappointing and we appreciate your support. We know you will love these albums and protectors when they arrive!
Thank you, Scrapbook.com

We're watching our local hockey team's games as often as possible and they lost a game a couple of days ago. Their social media person is kinda funny, so after the loss they posted where they were currently located and added the coordinates for a location called 'Disappointment Road' in Australia. That's where I currently reside regarding the delay. I just need the PP...I can easily wait on the albums (and anyone with 12x12's laying around can, too, because they can just swap albums later). Makes me feel a little better since I've way overspent on diamond painting stuff this month. The idea was to stock my stash since delays with the mail (especially at the ports) are already long without the added delays the holidays will bring (and I expect it to be terrible given many stores moving to an online sales format and plans to skip Black Friday)...don't want to be waiting on stuff from China in November and December. So the wee bit of optimism I will hang onto is that I can feel better knowing I probably won't be spending a lot in September and October so when I do shop for the PP and any online Black Friday deals (like Elle's Studio) I'll have given my bank account a small break, lol.

Has anyone noticed that in the Studio Calico section of "coming soon" they have 9x12 albums and PPs too? There is quite a bit of SC and AE stuff coming.

And they're copying the style that I've been dying to get. Not sure they'll be able to remain competitive with the higher price point and lower quality, however.

I didn’t get the email, and I subbed for all the 9x12 PPs and a few album colors. I’ve got 3 years of vacation photos to scrap - Including a WDW trip. I really want to do 9x12 pocket scrapping. My regular albums are 8x8s postbound and they just won’t work for some of the memorabilia. We’ve been vacation reminiscing during lockdown so we’re in the mood to do these pages. How is the SC or AE album and PP quality?

How is the SC or AE album and PP quality? In my opinion, the SC/AE page protectors are very thin and flimsy compared to other pp's I've used, like Heidi Swapp, Scrapbook.com, Simple stories and Echo Park. The faux leather albums that SC/AE make are not as nice as WRMK and Simple Stories. I made my own 9x12 album by cutting down a chipboard 12x12. I used a similar technique that White Sugar Designs on You Tube did. It was very easy! Then I cut down some 12x12 pp's to fit.

How is the SC or AE album and PP quality? I have the 9x12 album from ABM that I used for my DW/HPW albums for 2 separate trips, 2 albums per trip. The albums are holding up fine. However, some of the PP are funky. The new one from AE is cut a bit slimmer for the cards than I like. I know one of the other issues was they were swimming in the pocket, but I had to shave my cards a little to get them to fit. However, overall, I will say that 9x12 pocket is my absolute favorite way to document vacations like that. I'm so used to thinking about photos to fit into those sizes for PL, it's a smooth transition. I am also signed up for the SB.com notifications and didn't receive an e-mail.

The thing I like and will wait for with SB.com albums is that their albums are going to be three ring. You can use any 12x12 pocket page (cut down) or 8.5x11 or 6x12. The Studio Calico/Ali Edwards ones have 6 holes? You would have to re-punch protectors to use them. I have tons of Project Life 12x12 protectors that I just cut down and use. Right now I have a couple of the Seven Paper old 9x12 albums that have 3 rings and I love them. It is my favorite size.

The ABM protectors were good but when I bought some extra SC ones to add to them I had to cut down journal cards a fair bit. Even SC ones, but usually only on part of the page. It was so annoying.

How is the SC or AE album and PP quality? I bought two 9x12 albums from AE in February. The quality is not good. The faux leather cover had air bubbles and wrinkling around the corners on both of the albums. They sent me two more. There were okay looking. They look and feel cheap to me. I’m used to the thick, nice covers from the WRMK albums. These covers are so thin. They just don’t feel sturdy and heavy to me. I will not buy these albums from AE/SC again. No way. I’ve been disappointed in the page protectors too. I have to trim all of my 3x4 photos and cards down to make them fit into the pockets. The 4x6 photos seem to fit fine but the tops of the photos stick out of the opening more than I like. It looks like I need to trim them down because it’s bothering me. Before using these products from AE, I was using WRMK albums and Becky Higgins page protectors. I never had any of these problems with those products. This is my first experience with 9x12 products. I do not plan on buying anymore 9x12 products from AE once scrapbook.com gets their inventory in. And I’ll be placing an order for several albums and page protectors for them because if they sell out, I have no idea how long it will take them to restock. Start saving your money now. I have a feeling it will be well worth it.

I have been using SC 9x12 albums since 2016 and bought them in their various sales. I do not think i have ever paid the full price and bought like 10 albums at some point to last for a long time ( maybe like 2 years ago or so). The page protectors batches varied from different sizes over the years. I did have some early PPs where the pages had to be 9.5” vs 9” they have now. I have a bunch of cloth albums and a few leather ones. The quality is ok and the albums stay fine (no ring issues they have been having with smaller albums). I am excited to try the new scrapbook dot com albums and their page protectors. SC ones are clear and I have never had trouble of them tearing vs 12x12 Becky Higgins ones I had in the past. The only issue as I said was inconsistent sizing of the pockets.

Also I have one 7 paper 3 ring album and I only have to punch one hole to fit 4-hole SC PPs. Not a big deal.
