I just looked at the ones linked so far.. none of it is grabbing me the way a Christmas collection usually does so maybe it’s too early! Perhaps once I’ve finished my 2019 DD I’ll be more inspired. I do really like the Steven Duncan line, but I might be one of the rare people that dislike that thick textured paper? I use bits and pieces of his lines but not in the entire album. I do love the patterns and illustrations.

I will be curious to see what Simple Stories Christmas lines and album looks like this year, especially since Traci Reed is no longer designing for them. She’s done most of their Christmas/Winter lines the past several years. Yes me too. I remember when she released one of her Christmas digital lines last year I said I’d love to see it as a physical simple stories collection, she said you never know because quite often her digitals do end up being physical SS.. then a week or so later she stopped designing for them so no chance now.

Simple Stories Christmas lines are usually my favorite (curious how they will be with a different designer too). Also have been a fan of Crate Paper past Christmas collections.
Echo Park I give credit for the sheer number of collections they put out, but to me their holiday collections end up looking the same. That goes for Doodlebug too.
I hate to admit this but I hope none of them dazzle me because I already have so much.

I actually appreciate that the EP collections work well together. I use them for my annual Christmas cards and it helps that I can mix between lines.

I did not like the classic look from last year at all! So I'm hoping your sleepingbooty right about the change in aesthetic this year! So far, the pattern of alternating between a modern and classic line has stuck. Let's see if they carry it through another year! I will be curious to see what Simple Stories Christmas lines and album looks like this year, especially since Traci Reed is no longer designing for them. She’s done most of their Christmas/Winter lines the past several years. Big changes for Simple Stories, indeed. I'm curious as well. I wonder if they'll continue to offer the amount of Christmas and winter lines they usually do now that Traci Reed is gone. A lady who I order papers from here in Australia said Crate Paper will be available for order in JULY! Fingers crossed that’s true after last years fiasco. OOOOH, that's promising! Thanks for the tea. I don't know what possessed American Crafts to do a super late reveal + release last year. They must have figured out by now that the Crate Paper December line is a must in the scrap world? Everyone looks forward to it year after year.

Come on Crate Paper!!! I have really enjoyed using the 2019 collection. So fun! I would like to see more minty green and blue this year with just a tad bit of pink.
And more Christmas icons. Loved the winter theme but would really like a Christmas theme this year.

Not really waiting on any particular collections and I have a ton of Christmas stamps and dies that I just have to start using! Same. If you all hear me buying ONE holiday thing - paper, stamps, dies, etc - you have my permission to come over and smack me in the face w/a sprig of mistletoe. I have MORE THAN enough - and can't wait for the challenges to start using it again (in like October though)

Why does HM photoshop their stars to be so unrecognizable? These people don't even look real! I don't mind the schmaltz, I just want to see some real faces and real hair!!

I don't like gnomes so I think I won't be ordering any of that unless my DGD goes to a store with gnomes and starts carrying one around with her. Actually, with DIL being a gardener, I guess I could buy her a garden gnome and pose DGD with it if it comes to that. The Christmas lights paper is something I will use. I believe I still have one or two sheets of Paper Pizzazz paper very much like this. Collections I would like to see? Maybe something 50's, 60's, 70's themed? I've scrapped most all of those photos but I love a good theme and those decades to have specific color palates associated with them that could be fun in a Christmas Collection. I hoard my Daisy D Christmas papers. SO vintage and adorable.

All I can think when I see this poster is: "That's Ditsy McDitsy!" I saw her in a Hallmark movie a couple of years ago and she was being over the top ditsy, the whole schtick, head tilts, pigeon-toed and all. I actually paused the movie to Google the actress's name and check whether she had had an accident that could've led to some neurological issues. Apparently not. Anyhoo, that was my very interesting Hallmark remark of the day.

Just saw this in the "Coming soon" section at SB.com as well. The North Pole paper is pretty cool!

I can’t believe I wandered into this thread. I’m not a huge Christmas person and loathe even thinking about the holiday before Thanksgiving. This year I’m going to make a Memory Book for JYC which will take a lot of work ahead of time to create enough places for all the days within the twelve pages. So far, I’m loving the gnomes the best. There’s something spectacular about that shade of blue that just draws me in. Last year I used a Photoplay Christmas collection too. They put out a “solids” set to accompany it. I don’t see that with the gnomes which is a bit of a disappointment. Unless the EP gingerbread collection suddenly starts speaking to me, I might have a gnome filled Christmas.

SS Winter Cottage is lovely. I really like the greens in this collection. If you like this aesthetic, you may also enjoy the new autumn collection Simple Stories is releasing, Cozy Days, Ryann. I agree that it's a lovely line. Winter Cottage may need to come home to me...

Jingle all the Way is the most suited to my summer Christmas but I wish it was white based. The other two are really cute! North Pole is fun.

I have to admit, I’m not a fan of any of the Simple Stories kits, which is good for me. For 2020, I bought a couple of the Ali Edwards DD kits on clearance from HSN. I have a couple albums and kits to choose from, in addition to all of the Christmas supplies that I own. I should be good to go but I’m sure there will be at least one release that tempts me!

I am a sucker for florals and I am seeing some cute patterns in these collections. I do feel the Crate Paper vibes in Winter Cottage collection. It will be interesting to see what others bring to the table.
