So far I’m good. Nothing tempting me. I know it’s hard to come up with an original Christmas every year but it’s just all so samey. Anyway, that’s fine because I don’t need anything.

Right now, I’m liking Hello Christmas and Jingle All the Way for my December Album. I usually go traditional for that project. It just makes me happy. All the red and green.
Not sure if I’m going to be purchasing a lot this year as I ended up buying way more than I needed last year.

Wow crate paper looking collection from Simple Stories? That deer looks an awful lot like the ones featured in Maggie’s collections. Wonder if it’s the same designer? Not really crazy over any Christmas lines so far.

Cozy Days, a new autumn collection from Simple Stories, seems to confirm they snapped up the designer from AC (forgot her name).

Doodlebug works well for card making, and because their color palette is so consistent year after year it does make it easy to buy a new collection to use up old leftovers. I actually have the die cuts from last year waiting to become cards, but I'm mostly out of paper. I'm not going to make Christmas cards to sell this year though. They don't sell well, not at handmade prices. (I get it, people need quantity if they send them, and fewer send cards each year)

I don’t scrapbook anymore 😳 but I do make some cards each year. I’m eagerly awaiting the card kits especially from SSS. I usually love theirs.

SS Winter Cottage is lovely. I really like the greens in this collection. If you like this aesthetic, you may also enjoy the new autumn collection Simple Stories is releasing, Cozy Days, Ryann . I agree that it's a lovely line. Winter Cottage may need to come home to me... Love! I can buy fall, right?! RIGHT!!?! !?!

I like the SS lines a lot. Normally I'm not really attracted to SS much so it's interesting to see collections that I could definitely see myself buying but I have plenty of stuff for a DD this year and already have an album because I stocked up a couple of years ago. Good thing too with all the shipping delays. I just got a card from my aunt in the UK that took 2 months to arrive.

I love the SS lines. I agree, very crate paper, hints of october afternoon. I bought the "little lumberjack" line, and don't feel their christmas version is different enough to need to purchase.
Like most people here, I have enough Christmas stash to last me 2 more lifetimes of scrapbooking without buying anything new...

I wish they would come out with a Griswold Christmas vacation line! That is my all time favorite Christmas movie and the lines from it are classics! It's funny, smartass, miserable, happy, everything Christmas is!! Here's a stamp setWHY did I click that link? I want everything on that site!

I'm liking some of the Simple Stories Christmas lines. I am such a sucker for vintage and retro designs. But I have to be honest that it's definitely one of those things that appeals to my personal design aesthetic in real life, but it's not something that I scrap with easily. So... I should probably pass? Sigh.
I've spent a fair chunk of $$ on Carta Bella & Echo Park lines lately. Love them and LOVE their thick papers. I was nervous clicking on those links but thankfully nothing is jumping out at me.
Like many of you I have more Christmas themed supplies than I am ever likely to use. What is it about Christmas products that just makes me (us?) want ALL of the things in our stash?

I have lots of vintage stuff around but I can’t seem to scrap with those designs. Weird huh! And I can resist most scrapbooking lines, until Christmas! Then I buy way too much. Sometimes I think it’s because Christmas is what I enjoy scrapping the most.

After last week's Christmas crop - I've come to some realisations...
1 - I need to purge my Christmas bin 2 - I need to stop buying stuff because it looks cute or pretty or comes in a $5 pad from Michaels 3 - I prefer Cranberry red and dark green for my Christmas scrapbooking so when (IF) I buy more Christmas stuff I need to remember that and choose accordingly.
So while I loved the look of Simple Stories Jingle...I need to enjoy looking at it online.

New Photoplay collections are on preorder at ACOT. I like the colors in the “Mouse” collection. That teal, blueish green is the color I am planning to use this year. I do not know how to link.

I really like the ho ho ho paper. Other than that, too cutesy.

Love that teal and red colour scheme. I tend to find the cutesy stuff hard to use even though my album is mainly the kids. I love that ho ho ho paper!

December Daily-ers: Winter Cottage comes with a full set of 1-31 gold foil on foam Thickers Love these! They will stand out nicely on the page. I usually choose a cut apart sheet with numbers for my DD, but they often stop at 25. I actually wish they would add a few extra numbers so we could add the year if we wanted, or continue a little in to January (like I often do). And I do wish they wouldn't put on phrases like "BRRR" and "all bundled up". Even here in Canada, we often have green Christmases and all we can say about the weather is "dreary". The last layout I posted was titled "tropical tree hunt" because it was about 10 degrees C (50 F) (Oh my gosh I wish all the countries would get on the same measurement scales, yes I'm looking at you my beloved USofA )

It's 26°C inside the apartment right now and I'm wearing leggings, socks and a long-sleeved T-shirt. We haven't even put our duvet away yet as the start of summer is still way too cool... You should see the amount of layers on me when we head to the mountains for a couple of days. Matryoshka vibes! ETA: Anyone else mildly annoyed by the fact that Simple Stories used a different number 2 for '12' in that Thickers set? My brain is confused.
