I made 20 cards yesterday. I had most of the elements precut and colored so I was able to watch a documentary and glue them all together. I mixed the animals and colors up randomly. I’m sending these to Card for Hospitalized Kids. June donation cards - 20 by jo.blackford, on Flickr

@kendramage, your mother’s birthday card is gorgeous. Those bee related die cuts are amazing. I love the way it stands up. I wish I could see it up close. Beautiful job. Linda, I love your DD’s Rosetta Stone. What a fun artistic project. Great page. ~ I have to laugh at your Midnight page. That kitty seems to have favorite places right in the middle of what her owners are doing! Cute.~Cute STEM page. I love your background paper.~ Your CCM pages and the Alfredo page have great designs. I love the yellow, black and white.~Pretty soft colors on your Luau page. It looks like a fun get together. ~ I love your book paper and the pretty purples you used on your DD’s call home page. Cute.~ Love the design on your Garlic bread and zoodles. That would be a great card design too! schroema, you have been on a roll. So many double pages completed. Fun cousin page and I love the way you have added the news clippings to the sports pages. I love the 4 quadrants of various papers. That ‘s a great look for that page. I need to remember that. ~That soccer paper couldn’t be more perfect. You have a very active family! Kikipea, I love the papers you have used on the Air Travel page. Your stenciling is amazing. I love your way of tucking so many interesting things under your photos. Such a classy look. ~ I love your Fall layout with the snowy trees. I have a photo of Spring Break as we are driving through the Sierras with 8 foot snow walls on each side. You did a wonderful job on this page. Lovely. ~Now A Walk in the Park photos look more like what we expect from Fall. Beautiful page. Ryann, you did a great job on your Explore page. I love the way your embellishments lead your eye right to the photo. The little accents going from corner to corner is very artistic.~ Great job on the Sketchy Sat challenge. Those photos are so cute. Love your white space. I think I caught all the others in the gallery; grammadee, AussieMeg, joblackford, kitbop.

This is a LO that I've mean meaning to do for a while now, and sleepingbooty 's Black Representation challenge was the perfect prompt for me to finally get it done. The Australia Day / Invasion Day argument is quite controversial in Australia, and I don't necessarily expect other Aussies to agree with my views.
The journaling:

nylene- those are cute cards! Thanks for the comments; I’ve signed up for the Sketches Facebook group and that has amped up my creativity this month! KikiPea- more beautiful layouts. I love the fall colors. AussieMeg- really nice layout about a difficult subject. I’m struggling to get the tags correct in posts. Sometimes it seems to work and then sometimes not.

I am behind in leaving comments here. Going to start with the last and work backward. On Page 6: I left love for your pages on Flickr, AussieMeg, but was glad to see that you included the journaling in your share of the Invasion Day LO here. I had thought that was the background of the rally, but have a very sketchy knowledge of Australian traditions. What a timely LO! Love that your dd was so enthusiastic and that after getting the background your ds was getting into it. Your photographs are gorgeous, KikiPea, and your autumn pages are stunning! I want to take a clustering class from you! What a cool idea, schroema, to start a hiking album and record all the little details of your hikes in photos! The dark green is the perfect background. I have already visited your cards on Flickr, nylene. I need to take a stroll through joblackford's Flickr stream to get a closer look at those lovely cards.

Continuing to work backwards. On Page 5: Ryann, your two pages are so different in vibe and design, yet each completely perfect! I love the soft grey/blues of the baby boy page and how all the elements form a band across the page with that sweet cluster at the top of the "white space". So soft and sweet and comforting to look at. And then the Explore page just exudes excitement! Love the bright colours, the layering, how the fun elements tumble across the page. Awesome pages! KikiPea, I love how you used the script background pp to back these smaller photos, and, of course, the stellar clusters! schroema, I love your colour choices on the two pager and how they tie the pages together. Great cascade of small photos: their arrangement adds movement to the LO. And I love the overlapping banners. We can ALWAYS "handle" another LO from you! Great pages, and I am glad you have come here to play and to share.

I’m struggling to get the tags correct in posts. Sometimes it seems to work and then sometimes not. Sometimes people change their screen name but the original username is the same, and you have to tag using their original username. If you look at Linda for example..... hover over her name and you will see 'homeschoolmum' pop up. That's the name you need to use when you tag her, not Linda. The just put an @ in front of the name. If you use the 'Insert User Link' button up in the tool bar when you start a post, you can put in either name and it will bring the person up. That's the button with an @ symbol and a yellow & blue person, just to the left of the C and Quote button.

This LO is for a photography challenge at The Lilypad. We had to capture images that bring peace and serenity. I was very happy to find a quote that used both of those words and suited the photos. I used a Big Fade template by Lynn Grieveson. Paper, elements and styles from the 'April' kit by Lynn Grieveson and the 'Art & Nature' kit by NBK.

KikiPea I love how your stencil technique gives just a little something to that layout. I need to experiment more with ink on my layouts.

Just popping in to say that TOMORROW I will be photographing the “gather together” embellishment I put in my virus diaries, and somewhere, somehow I will be using a tag, so I can get full points for Booty’s holiday crop! Telling you all in the hopes that I will actually remember to do it. I’ve set a reminder on my phone.

This LO is for a journaling challenge at The Lilypad. The challenge was to journal a minimum of 100 words about something you have missed due to COVID. I journaled about how DD finished her uni degree in December 2019, and the graduation ceremony was supposed to have been in May 2020. I used a 'Handle With Care' template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee, papers and elements from the 'Roots' and 'Wings' kits, both TLP collaborations.
