I don't know what I'm going to do with my planner, my thoughts change every day. The one thing I do know is 2020 has been indescribable as far as the things that I've seen and the lessons I've learned. And we're only a little bit more than halfway through. There are some sites on FB that you can sell..although they are flooded right now with everyone getting rid of their EC stuff---me included.

I should have known the P's would be all over this story!! I haven't been around much; seeing some opinions about Covid on the boards while being on the frontlines in NYC was too much. That being said, I've used EC for years and this year I really got into the planner community as a distraction. What better way to forget 2020 than to start planning 2021? EC launched next year's planner and a bunch of new stuff at the end of April. I (happily) spent more money on planner stuff than I ever thought I would. So much fun! Imagine my surprise and heartbreak when things unfolded this week. I'm looking at a box full of stuff and a planner that starts in July trying to decide what to do. Reading people's thoughts on IG has been uplifting in one hand and so disturbing on the other. As many times I've said to myself over the last few days that I was going to stop reading I go right back to it. I am mostly amazed by the people who stubbornly refuse to understand privilege. The ones who don't understand that there is no comparison between the minor inconveniences of life and the daily battle to stay alive as a Black person. Think I'm exaggerating? Ask Breonna Taylor's family whether they thought their daughter would be murdered by the police while she was sleeping in her bed. I don't know what I'm going to do with my planner, my thoughts change every day. The one thing I do know is 2020 has been indescribable as far as the things that I've seen and the lessons I've learned. And we're only a little bit more than halfway through. I’m sorry. A planner is something you look at daily, I’m sorry your dealing with having to decide if that will stress you daily or not. Ultimately, no one can decide that for you, only you will know how much that will cloud your planner journey or not. The money is already spent and she already profited from it. Hopefully you can come to a place where your able to continue your planner journey in peace whatever you decide to do with this. Hugs

So, the fill-in-the-blank apology of self-reflection and regret combined with the slap on the wrist from the CEO? Yeah, no. Agree. This is not the first time issues have been raised to EC, personally or the company. At this point, implicit bias training is a weak sauce response. They need to show some action.

While we're (not Erin Condren, obvs) focusing on the horrific history of racism in America, let us not forget:
But hey, why focus on protests and racist history? USE THE PRETENSE of caring to justify your partay!!
