I can't believe it's July!
I'm trying to work on Christmas cards, but I'm not feeling it.

welcome to July!
I'm trying a different approach this month. I'm trying to scrap my last photo order (end of May, beginning of June) before my next photo order arrives (end of June photos). If I succeed, then I'll jump backwards and work on some older photos (and by older- that's anything from mid May backwards many years, lol)
we'll see how it goes...

Welcome to July.
July is new 1/2 year memory planner Time for me. This time I did my cover right away. I often wait to get the feel/vibe of the 1/2 year before doing it but I just loved the papers from Capitalchic designs so I just had to make it.
Then I did my July month page border in stamps ( no die cuts this month very out of the box for me )

I planned on placing a SG order to get the free kit and I couldn’t find enough things I wanted to buy. That’s a first for me. I can definitely shop my stash and make a kit, though.

I received an order of glue glider refills from Amazon, so I am a happy scrapper.
I made a birthday card today, and need to put together 3 more this month besides 4 or 5 anniversary cards. If I create only one per day, this may take awhile!
Dd is getting a new puppy this month, so I see some puppy pages in my future...

I can't believe it's July! I'm trying to work on Christmas cards, but I'm not feeling it. Same and same. I pulled out some Christmas dies but can’t quite get in the spirit to use them. How is it July??

Yesterday I ordered June photos. I'm hoping my mojo picks up when they're delivered.
Also just got three packs of pop dots to fluff up my stash, because I'd nearly depleted mine.

So I used pink AND flowers on a layout. Not my normal layout. I have about 20 pictures printed from my son's engagement shoot that I want to scrap. It happened in the park where the rocks are pinkish. I pulled the pictures that seemed to go well with this paper. I'll do another layout or two using brighter, more outdoorsy colors for the other pictures. I loved that there was a wolf rescue also taking pictures and had to include him in the layout. I also liked that on the layout the "S" in she doesn't show up as well on camera since it was really more of a "he said yes" kind of event anyway.

Tuesday is when I order my next batch of photos (for the first week of July) so hopefully I can get May finished before they arrive So far for 2020 I have part of January scrapped, part of March scrapped, 2 layouts for May scrapped, and all of June

Even though the stay at home order has been lifted, my family isn't going places like we normally would pre-pandemic.
My everyday scrapbook album reflects that. So I've been taking advantage of any reason to take a pic.
Yesterday I snapped a Fourth of July pic of my youngest kids. It's not super themey (which I would've loved, tbh), but they're standing next to a huge planter with red & white blooms and a flag stuck in it. And they even looked at the camera.
I'll call it a win, and get to scrap a 4th of July pic this year.

Thank you for starting this thread! I really like seeing what others are doing and also reviewing my own status.
As I have said, my son moving home brought my scrapbook organization efforts to a screeching halt. I made a big dent but not enough of one to actually find things or ultimately, scrap a page! However, I have kept up with getting my photos printed and am due to take these last few batches and sort them into page protectors and eventually, find the paper and such I want to use for them.
I heard a rumor that a church crop I go to may have a crop this month. It's a small group in a very large space and easy to distance. If so I am going! But I hope I get some notice to actually dig for product like a dog for a bone!
Also both my conventions were cancelled and I was going to drive up to my mom's and attend a 3 day crop, but I decided if I went to my mom's I'd rather visit with her.
If I do get to crop I just want to finish 2019, which won't be too hard. Being 6 months behind is hard for me, because I am used to cropping often and getting a lot done!

I have had a 3 night crop with mostly the same 12 women for 12 years. The house we rented sold! Sob. We will try to find a new place in 2021. This place was only an hour away and so perfect.

Gorgeous pages, 950nancy. TFS. And congrats to your ds! That shade of pink really works with the rocks, and you got to add some flowers, too, so yay! I spent some scrappy money this week. Ordered albums from SB.com. They had the wide spine Pioneer D ring ones. Caught a discount, but the shipping was pretty steep. Still didn't pay more than I would have if I picked them up in Canada, and none of the LSS's have been able to stock those. Signed up for a glue subscription from Amazon.ca. Called the LSS and had them put away the PhotoPlay Gnome for Christmas collection. And an Edmonton store had a Canada Day sale, and somehow I ended up ordering extra pieces of that line with some other items I "needed". I am planning to use it for my cards this year. Just paid my cc on line tonight. Ouch! I joined the weekend Pea Hangout this afternoon and got 2 two-pagers and a card finished, so I guess I can say I am using my supplies...

They have been together for 10 years. She has two + more years of school and then they'll get married. I know it will happen, but right now it just seems like an event in a far off time.

With being at home all the time, anyone else running out of photos to scrapbook?
I am starting to document some simple pleasures, as well as some old photos.

I just ordered a red album for my pandemic layouts (that are just shoved on a shelf right now), and another album for the second half of my teen's high school career.

It's the best excuse to lay down all the pretty flowers and lace in your stash I'm matching up photos to papers today for the rest of last year's Universal Studios album. Vicki Boutin's papers seem to be working well for the dark moody Harry Potter pages.

Remember me whining about the popcorn? Get ready, cause there will be a whole lot of that goin' on if I go that way!!
