Here is a card I put together this morning for my soon-to-be-50 yr old nephew. It opens like a gatefold, except that each of the panels is full size. 50 front by Gramma Dee, on Flickr 50 middle panel by Gramma Dee, on Flickr 50 inside by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I had fun fussy cutting the stamped cow heads and lifting them up on action wobbles. Got that idea from a Taylored Expression ad for their new Farm bundle, which--so far--I have talked myself out of buying.... POINTS: going Easy Peasy on my cards, so one card created & shared (2) + 5x7 flat points (15).. Total: 17

Wow, Linda, you got a quick jump on July. Nice job on the family playing ball. I love that family time is easier with social distancing.~Your tornado watch page makes my heart race. I hate big winds and couldn't live in a place that has tornadoes. I'm glad you were safe.~ I love the designs on Good Times and Fly. Dividing into quadrants makes a very pleasing artistic design. ~~I love your DD's new scarf. She has done a great job with it. That variegated yarn is very pretty. grammadee, what a clever b-day card. I am going to remember that for DS's b-day next year. I made 12 of these cards, but delivered 8 of them this morning before photographing them. I took them to all our Card Club members and to a neighbor who is in the hospital. The inside says: SENDING BIG HUGS, One day I hope to give you a real one. Missing You Chairs This is a card for our DS for his b-day. There is a story behind it. We came home one day to find that he had taken the mower completely apart. All parts were lying on the pavement. He thought it wasn't running right and wanted to fix it. He was 10. With a little help from his dad, they put it back together and it did run better. He then went around the neighborhood and left notes (he made himself) that he was looking for lawn jobs. He had so many takers that he mowed lawns every day all summer. He has always been an entrepreneur and his work ethic has served him well. Mower B-Day Card

Linda you have been busy! So glad to see your mojo is back full force! I love the blocking on these pages. And I love that you documented the tornado watch. My niece has a storm shelter in her garage and we frequently see pics of them in it at 2AM lol. The Quarantine Project page is beautiful! Love the colors and those photos corners! I'm regretting purging my corner punches right now lol. Your poem about the cat is sweet and funny and that background paper is so pretty! grammadee and nylene there is love in the gallery!

I love al the day-to-day experiences you are documenting, Linda. SIP can be rough but I'm glad to see your family is fitting in some fun and games, both indoors and out. Being in the possible path of a hurricane must be terrifying. Love that you took the time to take the photos. Congrats to your dd on making her scarf! And I love the kitty photos. The poem is--shall I say--PURRfect!

And a two pager for this morning. Boot Day by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: two pages created & shared (4). #1 two pages scrapped for Donna challenge bonus 5 points per page (10), #9 woodgrain pp (2), #12 four photos (4), #18 & 19 squares and rectangles (4), Two pages for almost finished spring album (2), #36 used a kit (2), #41 cork letters (1), #42 woodgrain & shiny brown (3), #47 love these guys (2), #55 torn edges (2). Total: 36 Funny thing about this one. All June I had the little package of mosaic tiles that went with this kit sitting on the corner of my scrap counter, and I kept looking for ways to use them for the June challenge about mosaics. Didn't happen. And I cleaned off my counter, putting that pkg in--what I am SURE was at the time--a very logical place. I was resorting photos this morning and decided I could use that kit to scrap these photos. Was especially excited b/c I had just read @joyulnana's challenge to catch up on ANY PAST CHALLENGE. Whoo Hoo! I finally had an idea of how to use those tiles... Went looking for them. NOPE! They are NOWHERE! So, I made the page without them. Do you think they will come out from hiding, now?

Linda I love that you have already done several pages and I'm still reeling from the realization that we're in a new month! (and feeling bad that I didn't comment on many posts last month) Working backwards: Love that collection of kitty photos with the poem, delightful! Your daughter's quarantine scarf is beautiful. Knitting can be so soothing during times of trouble. I like that this page tells a much bigger story than just the scarf - the unexpected change of plans, quarantine, buying mask supplies... Love the paper airplane paper - that looks like a professionally engineered one in the photo! The game night, happy dance Sheltering in the bathroom with phones - that's way out of my experience (I did it once, in a laundry room, visiting my friend, and it was really unnerving, but also very boring!) and I love the family basketball story and the way the basketball sticker/die cut seems to be shooting up into a hoop off the page.

My friend has a mower obsessed son. I might have to make him a mower and mower card for his next birthday. I don't think he's mechanically minded, but he could shovel snow or rake leaves, or (when he's a little older) mow lawns, for hours on end. He loves to work, and he's wanted to mow people's lawns since he was a toddler.

I added some extra bits to the gaps in my virus diaries album, because I have run out of space. I was going to add a title to this double page - I had a big gap for it but no words. But it turned out to be the right size for a trimmed down photo that I screenshot from Shimelle's IG Stories one day, showing how she was sharing her stalled/under-construction London flat with her son and husband. She mentioned that the spot behind where the camera was was all bare concrete floor/debris, and they only have a temporary kitchen... it might seem strange to include but it showed another version of how lockdown looks in another place, so I really wanted to include it (and I've watched her scrapbook live from that raskog + desk in the right hand corner all through the lockdown, with her husband and son making small noises in the background. I don't know how they do it!) I liked that the camera I had embellished with is a Shimelle design and the paper I used is one she called her favorite ledger paper. July virus diaries by jo.blackford, on Flickr I added our tickets to the show that was cancelled along this edge. It doesn't really relate to the rest of the page but it fit in with the (very loose) chronology here, and there wasn't any space for them anywhere else. The circular element is from IACB (Geralyn Sy) printed on paper and cut out, with a scrap of vellum to hold the tickets. July virus diaries by jo.blackford, on Flickr All I have to do now is finish off the journaling/captions in my last few pages. I stuck down all the photos I could fit, trying to fit everything into the final couple of pages. I'm going to write an intro and "conclusion" to wrap up and mention all the things I couldn't include, and explain why I finished the book where I did. I'll have half a dozen more pages to share soon.

nylene your cards are just gorgeous! How did you do the layered clouds on the mower card? I really like how that looks. I'm sorry, somehow I slipped over this post. kitbop talked me through the cloud technique. I cut a template using a cloud shaped die. I taped the template in place and used Distress inks on a dauber to pull color from the edge of the template upward into the white space. Then I used another cloud shape and just moved it down a little and repeated the process. I only have 2 templates so I turned each one over so I would have 4 different cloud shapes. It's much easier than it looks. grammadee and joblackford I left love in the gallery. It's fun to see you both jumping right into July scrapping! Linda, your cat poem is purr-fect. I think your kitty has a pretty cushy and loving home!

I think these may be the last pages for that grad album. Her dad is coming here Monday and will be heading to BC on Tuesday, so can take the VERY heavy album with him. No butterflies on this one, but lots of stars. It photographed a bit on the sepia side, but the papers have enough white in them to claim the Red White & Blue challenge, too, I think. celebrate with family by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And kitbop , do you see that thread nest? Totally claiming that for your June challenge! Two pages created & shared (4). #1 two pages for Donna challenge (10), Sketch challenge (1), #19 woodgrain pp (2), #10 for grad album (2), #12 six photos (6), #16 red white & blue (2), #22 grad album (2), #2 old & new papers (2), #26 cut down photos (1), #37 thread nest (1)#47 love these guys (2), #53 chipboard & foam word titles (2), #58 grad (2), #60 3 scraps on each page (6). Total: 45
