schroema - love that adorable Pooh cake! Both sketch versions are awesome - and different enough that if you hadn't said otherwise, I wouldn't have guessed they were the same sketch. Great colour choices AussieMeg - beautiful photos and that mixed media background is fabulous

I had a busy day yesterday. Will have to come back and leave some love for page TWO. I split my dgd's album into two. Duhhh... it was over 350 copied pages. So yesterday I needed to create a cover page for the second book. cover page book 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Should have used something smoother to apply the transfer gel (used a stencil brush so it would apply thinly and dry quickly--if it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done around here . And should have let it dry longer before foiling. But fortunately I have diecuts and scraps I can cut into circles or tear to size, so I think I covered most of the Ooops! areas. Both albums are now safely on their way to the grad with her dad.

All from an EP kit - cut the birthday sticker - it originally said Birthday Dude so I edited it.

This LO is for a style challenge at The Lilypad. The challenge was to use a big title. The journaling is about how I was finally able to go and see my mum after COVID restrictions were lifted in May. When I started this LO on Tuesday morning, I was looking forward to going to see my mum again in three weeks for her birthday. And now on Wednesday morning we are back in lockdown for 6 weeks so I won't be able to see mum after all. I should have added the word "Temporary" to my "Freedom" title! I used a 'Springboard No. 3' template and the 'Blue Skies Ahead' kit, both by Lynn Grieveson.

What gorgeous views in that layout AussieMeg - so glad that you were able to see your mum - sorry it was a temporary reprieve. I love that the photos steal the show but you still sneaked in some fun embellishments

Linda, LOL, the compost faery. I love the story and that cute robot paper.~ I love that little mouse on Oreo. What a cute name for your black and white kitty.~It looks like your cat is thinking “where’s MY food?”~I’m glad your DD was able to be awarded her honors even if it was virtually. That’s such a great school design. It looks like a yearbook page.~Love your Pres. Bush quote and your story about your DD’s running. Great pages.~I have to laugh at the tongue sticking out since you are photographing her. My married girls will sometimes do that. Silly girls! ~ Cute Birthday layout. Isn’t it fun to alter stickers and cards to fit what we are scrapping. Lots of fun photos here. ~Nice final May page. I hope your photos arrive soon. schroema, that is the cutest cake! I think $35 was a “steal” for that. Great page and story. That’s a great way to use the sketch on Do U C a move? I love the photos lined up along the bottom. Nice look. teacherlisa, I love your choice for license plate. That’s also a great story to SKRAP. ~ I’m glad you were able to meet and eat a meal that reminds you all of past days. I love the way the borders match your ties on the tags. Nicely scrapped.~ I’m sorry for the long testing lines. I have heard that it’s not a fun test. That’s a perfect photo to document this crazy time. I think I caught the rest in the gallery. Lots of great work already for just the first week!

Thank you nylene - Three of our five kitties are black and white - Oreo is the oldest, then Little Friend (named by DD13 when she was three and LF showed up as a pregnant stray in our yard), and Mini (named for his resemblance to his mum, Little Friend) - the other two are black (Midnight) and a brown tabby (Tabby). Just a journalling page to finish out June now the Persnickety timeline was released. And April's Pandemic page - just need to journal March and I'll be caught up on the monthly timeline pages

Thanks all- my daughter had a lot of fun making that cake with her friend for their cooking club. They were pretty excited about making $35! Linda I need to check into the Covid timelines you are using.

I had this idea in my head after watching multitudes of Vicki Boutin mixed media FB Lives and videos. I decided to try it today and see what would happen. It took me a minute to find the right photo for it. I don’t have any of Vicki’s Foundations paper, so I used the backside of a paper from her premade mixed media paper pad. It’s a combination of distress oxides and art crayons and the white part is CreativeFX. I also spritzed water, a few water droplets and used water with a stencil brush through the wave stencil. Soooooooooo, FB link works, but holy COW it's huge!!! Would I have to resize it before uploading it???

So, it seems that somehow I am no longer a member of the Flickr group. I did join a few years back, and uploaded LO's there, but it prompted me to join again. Anyway, I'll get it figured out at some point. I wish iy was as easy to upload from Flickr as it is from IG and FB, but I'm not willing to make my accounts public. I don't know about IG but my FB account is locked pretty tight and the album I post my layouts in is set to "only me" but they share here just fine - I open the picture on FB, right click and copy image location and then click the picture icon here and paste the address.

This LO is for a Kim Jensen designer challenge at The Lilypad. The challenge was a recipe including using at least three fasteners, one of which had to be a Cliptastic clip. I used 'The Rain Is Gone' kit and number clips from the 'Plastic Cliptastic 1' set (both by Kim Jensen) and Rustic Metal styles by Mommyish.

Playing around with ways to upload photos because the Flickr Gallery is giving me fits. :-P They are HUGE!!! Thank goodness they're huge, because now I can finally see your pages properly! Please keep posting them this big. OMG, that beach LO where you used distress oxides and art crayons is so flipping amazing!! I love the other three as well, and I have saved them to scrap lift later. Linda I love your COVID journaling pages. I really wish that I'd been journaling more about the pandemic. But most of my pages would be "Still working from home and loving it!"

I’d love you see your scraplifts! So flattered. 🥰
