Ugh I’m trying to look into meal delivery kits for my mom after her knee replacement surgery, but they all want payment/sign up information before you can even see the menus.
Are there any good ones out there I can see menus before signing her up?!

I don't think there are but I've used meals kits for years. I've done Hello Fresh, Home Chef, Blue Apron and Sunbasket. I'm happy to answer any questions about those four, if I can help.

I don't think there is either But you don't authorize payment by just putting in your info.

Stay away from everyplate. Our last box was supposed to be here last Friday. It was delayed and wasn’t shipped until Friday. Which means it say on a truck all weekend and everything was warm when delivered. I understand issues so I called support.
I had to wait on hold over an hour. They immediately credited my account but I’ll be canceling as soon as we use that credit.
They have no customer service email. The only way to contact is by chat or phone. That’s a deal breaker for me.
Also based on their Facebook page, they are having a large issue and I was lucky to only have an hour wait. Some people never got someone on the phone and are filing bank disputes.

But least amount of prep work would be Hello Fresh and some meals by Home Chef. Home Chef has some that you just throw together and bake in the oven. But none of them is really low prep work. If you are looking for that, I believe that there are some meals that are prepackaged and you just heat up. I've seen them advertise on Facebook. But I haven't taken note of them because I like to cook.

The landing page to most sites from clicking on ads makes it seem like they want your info before you preview the meals. But if you go the site itself, you can find most of the menus. For example- Hello Fresh- www.hellofresh.com/menus/. I'm using Hello Fresh right now and it does require prep. The food is good but if you aren't used to prepping (or don't like it), it can be a pain. Also, since everything is fresh, there is a short shelf life for the meat unless you freeze it. So you can get multiple meals but you'll need to cook them in the first few days of getting the kit. Especially chicken which you are only supposed to keep in the frig for 1-2 days. I've used Sun Basket before. Prep is usually required but now I see they have some pre-prepped food so that might be a good way to go. sunbasket.com/menu

Are you near a Target store? They usually carry some put together meals in the same order that the meal plans work. You can read more about them all here : LinkAnd you can search of pinterest for each company because a lot of people will make their meals over with things they purchased. Aside from that I think you'd have to email each company for sample menus. I know they change weekly so it's never the same thing.

We got some healthy meals from Freshly for my widowed FIL. They come already prepared. He has raved about them. They are about $10/meal.

You can view homechef's menus... I check them weekly to see what will be at my grocery store.

Try searching the name of the kit along with "menu".
I'm currently using Blue Apron, but have also tried Marley Spoon and Hello Fresh. Blue Apron has the least amount of choices. The other two are about equal in my mind.
