I don't mind wearing the mask, but the hand sanitizer made me break out with eczema, so I can't use that. I do wash excessively though--which also aggravates eczema. I've never had eczema in my life! and I'm old!! I'll do what I have to do to keep others well and MAYBE some day we can have a normal life again.

I was wearing in early April, months before the mandates.
I don't mind wearing them, but I do a lot of curbside pickup and mail order. I don't go into stores unless I have to. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
I'll wear a mask as long as I'm not comfortable with distances in confined spaces.

Since March when my office has mandated staying at home if you're ill, wearing masks and wiping down desks between users, there have been no office colds. Not one. Before all this, someone turned up with a sniffle on Monday and by Friday, the busiest day, we'd have 2 or 3 off sick. Some people with asthma or other illnesses could be off for weeks, all because of a cold. It was so stupid, and I was a bit vocal about it. Finally the message has got through.
Re: masks, I don't like them either, but I wear them and I think I will continue to wear them after this has passed. I was out on Saturday: pharmacy, then grocery shop next door, then to pick up a Subway salad for lunch. I think I saw 3 other people wearing masks. In the Subway I counted 12 people in the shop plus staff, and I was the only person wearing a mask or observing any social distancing at all. A family of 5 moved the "dining area closed" sign and sat down to their meal. No staff members said anything.
I got home and Googled to check whether the rules had changed and I hadn't noticed. Nope, still the same. You despair, don't you?

I mean, I spent the day at the beach today and wore one 97 percent of the time. It’s hot as balls in Korea, and the beach was pretty empty, but people did walk by so...just felt safer. That few seconds where you get up and put it on and person walks by close just freaks me out now. So I almost always wear it and I don't even notice, even when it’s 95 outside. I took it off to swim. And eat chicken outside the restaurant, but a sweet little girl wanted to talk about my dog and so I kept the mask on and food got cold because very wonderful conversation. She wore her mask the whole time, for kids here it is just normal, second nature.
All that to say I will feel really weird minus the mask. It isnt that I like it, it’s just such a routine. And the small chance I am not exposing someone to something, and just the relief felt if everyone has them is huge. I dont mind at all, on a beach at 95 F, for that feeling.

I've been wearing a mask all day at work for months now, ever since New York mandated them. It took a couple of days to get accustomed to it, but honestly I don't even notice it anymore. It's just part of my uniform.
I feel uncomfortable when I'm out and about running errands and people get too close to me not wearing masks. I stay as far away from them as possible.
I think we will be wearing masks for quite a while and I am totally good with that.

I'll be glad when I don't have to wear a mask anymore. I've always loved kids and I always smile at them when I'm out running errands. They almost always smile back. Now, I find myself smiling at kids and they just turn away. With the mask on, they can't tell I'm smiling. I'm just some creepy lady staring at them.smile and wave, maybe? I typically waved at the little kids I would see in the grocery store, even before having to wear masks when I'm out. There are other ways of having people recognize you than seeing your whole face-- I wear one when I have to at work, and plenty of people wear them their entire shift-- their co-workers figure out how to recognize them even with the mask (and other PPE) on. I'll wear one as long as they mandate it, and probably a bit after, because I don't trust our governor, honestly. I also don't feel comfortable when someone gets too close to me without one on.

There have been times before COVID that I wished I could wear a mask but didn't want people to look at me like I was crazy. I have seasonal allergies, so a mask will come in handy! I can walk around the arboretum without suffering from all the beautiful flowers!

I wore one sometimes anyway because of my health issues. I think I will probably keep it up if not forever, certainly during cold and flu season. And I'll get myself more cute, easy to wear cloth masks (I currently only have two).

Pros: Love being anonymous at times, no worrying about being recognized if I don’t want to talk to someone. Don’t have to wear makeup.
Cons: It can make me unpleasantly hot in direct sun. Keep getting mascne.

The minute the rules change in my area I'm definitely going to stop wearing masks ... I'm already dreading teaching all day in them beginning on Thursday but I'm doing it for everyone's safety

Once I found ones that fit my face well, I have no issue wearing one and hope it does continue during flu season and highly recommended/encouraged for travel and on mass/public transit. I am one that "smiles" with my eyes because they will crinkle so I feel like I can still smile at people while wearing a mask.
I also hope handshakes never come back.

I will wear one as long as needed and probably a bit longer. I have gotten into the habit of telling people that I am smiling at them. You can totally see a smile in peoples eyes.

Yeah, I like that I can go somewhere looking like crap, and ain’t nobody gonna recognize me in a mask. Add a hat, and my own family wouldn’t recognizen me either! 🤪

I will on a plane probably forever, i never liked breathing in people's germs on a plane anyway but i never thought to get myself an N95 for flights and would have hesitated to look like a hypochondriac. Now I'm ok with that. I think we'll be wearing surgical masks in the hospital setting for a long time to come. I don't wear one outside but i don't really go where there are crowds.

I’ll wear one as long as I’m asked to. They don’t bother me too much.

I don't really mind wearing a mask, because the total time I spend wearing one is minimal, because of my limited public activities. The difficult part for me is remembering to bring one, so I've taken to stashing them all over--my purse, my car--like a squirrel stashes nuts.
I never hear people complain about my main complaints about wearing them: 1. I always get an itch/tickle under the mask, and then I suffer because I don't want to be touching my face under the mask. 2. The top edge of the mask feels like it's going into my eyes, and I'm always having to surreptitiously pull it down from the bottom.

I don’t think I will but it’s been nice that there have been zero colds come in the house, no sore throats, etc. So we’ve identified that younger DS has allergies, probably to dust mites. He’s sneezy in the morning and clears up during the day.
