Hey everyone! Tomorrow, I will be hosting "Dress Up with Me Monday." This will be our 7th time and what a great experience this has been. Wear your joyful clothes whether you are at home or going out. THIS IS FOR YOU!  How does this dress up thing work???
Pick at least one or more of your favorite things to wear- clothing, accessories and/or shoes. Also it could be wearing your fav make-up or styling your hair. Wear it Monday 10/5/2020
Leave a comment here and tell us what you wore and how you felt. Share pictures if you like of your outfit or you and your fav thing. Join me tomorrow and have fun wearing your joy for the full day or even an hour! Whatever works for you. |

I’m in my closet trying to make a decision. It’s getting colder here, but temperamentally my heart is still with all the bright summer colors and short sleeves or sleeveless tops. Will post tomorrow when I actually get dressed for the day.

I'm working today so it's uniform only. BUT a few weeks ago I got fed up with my normal hoop earrings getting caught in the mask elastic, and I ordered a couple of pairs of those stud earrings that you get when you have your ears pierced. You know the ones where the butterfly sort of clips on the back? So today I will be wearing my new gold studs with turquoise diamanté centre. They won't show under my hair, but I'll know they're there.  |

I'm at work today, but it's for training (ie. we aren't open to the public) ... instead of wearing jeans or yoga pants, I am wearing a Roots sweatshirt dress and Vans slip ons covered with photos of puppies ... but I actually have make up on for the first time in ages ... semi-dressed-up! I am not leaving the house today, but decided to play along anyway. I admit, I feel good, so thanks!
I am wearing wide leg navy crops, a navy/white gingham sleeveless top, and a white 3/4 sleeve cardigan. I am taking advantage of the lovely weather here in Minnesota.

mikklynn, that outfit sounds super cute! I feel like I have to put this disclaimer each time I play - we all wear jeans and hoodies to work here. So what I’m posting isn’t necessarily what comes to mind when “dressing up” but it definitely is for where I work. I decided to wear a cardigan with a ruffle and I even got out an old necklace from Tiffany&Co. I can’t remember the last time I wore it, or a necklace at all!

I'm wearing a tunic t-shirt and jeans! Super fancy for me. I normally wear pajama bottoms and a t-shirt. I had to take my daughter to work today.  I will be changing back to the old clothes soon. I'm basically a toddler and spill on everything.  |

kellyr21, I LOVE those feather earrings! I put on and take off a mask dozens of times a day when I leave my office or when someone comes in to talk, so I really wish I could wear earrings. I wore my dangly earrings all day and was just careful with my mask elastics. And I wore a colorful scarf because it was cold. I felt secretly dressed up. Close enough!!

Per usual, my focus is secondhand purchases.
-Chico’s boyfriend jeans bought on Poshmark.
-An embroidered, mauve Free People tunic bought at Goodwill.
-A vintage copper bracelet from a garage sale.
My usual barefoot-when-home look complemented my hippie ensemble. LOL. Had I gone out, I would have used a 1970s tooled leather purse bought on eBay.
