My 4 year old not only loves our mail man (he is the best!) but he also loves "shopping" with catalogs. He's asked the mailman to bring him more. 🤣 We get Oriental Trading and I just signed up for Hearthsong. What other hard copy catalogs are still around? They don't have to be toys or books necessarily. Just nothing dirty. 😅
(Another reason I'm excited for the card swap this year!)

LLBean might have one... I get one from Ulta regularly, though I think they suspended paper copies during the pandemic. I also get one regularly from DHC, a skin care company.
Oh! Colorful Images sends me one regulay, too. (However, I had a terrible experience with them and can no longer recommend them as a place to order from. Brightly colored catalogs, though.)

Uline catalogs are about 1.5 inches thick!! He would love them unless he doesn't love boxes and bubble wrap!! I think I finally got them to stop sending them to my work. I ordered some boxes once and I got a catalog, my boss got one, the "shipping manager" got one (who was me) and the "owner" got one (who was my boss). LOL!! I used to love the junk mail forms when I was a kid. I would sit and fill them out. I would ask my mom to mail them back for me. I hope you get lots of fun catalogs for him.

If you buy stamps online, the US Post Office will send a catalog every few months for the rest of your life (OK I'm exaggerating since I'm not dead yet...)

two fun ones that I used to like looking thru myself are -- Vermont Country Store-- Lehman's Hardware Store (looks like this one costs $2 to get a paper catalog) Both of these places have *everything* from old-fashioned candy, toys, unique gift items, clothing, unusual household and kitchen items, etc.

I probably get at least 10 catalogs a month--and I can't get them stopped. Just this week we have; Signals (PBS TV) Acorn (British TV) Support Plus (health related items for people with arthritis) Penn State Industries (woodworking) Bas Bleu (books and gifts related to books)

I've spent much time getting companies to STOP sending. It's just more waste in our landfills. Another suggestion, ask your neighbors to put their unwanted catalogs in your mailbox.

But watch out...once you're on those mailing lists, you'll have a hard time stopping the landslide!

My DS loved catalogs when he was little too! He also loved making his own out of the ads in the Sunday paper. I haven't received a physical newspaper in years, and I have no idea how many ads it actually has anymore, but if you don't get a newspaper, you can get a Sunday paper at Dollar Tree, if you think he might be interested. DS was always proudest of the vacuum section of his catalogs. He would bring his current catalog whenever we went to Walmart or Target to compare it to their inventory.

LTD Commodities. Thick catalog and lots of great seasonal items. I was going to suggest this one, too. When I taught school, they would send them to me. All of the teachers would get so excited and we ordered so much stuff! ABC used to be another one like this, but I'm not sure if they're still around.

What other hard copy catalogs are still around? They don't have to be toys or books necessarily. Just nothing dirty. 😅 Lakeside Collection catalog can be a fun one Lakeside Collection and LTD Commodities are one and the same... so if you request one from both -you will be getting the same catalog, just a different name. I am not really sure why they run under two names - but they do! I actually LOVE ordering stuff from them. Some is really crappy quality (avoid any sheets/bedding)... but they have some awesome Farmhouse type decor that is really not bad! They have quite a bit of kids stuff too. Have you thought about any kids magazines? Not free... but my kids LOVED their magazines. Highlights and Kids National Geographic are still in print. Quite a few others too.

He also might enjoy a subscription to a children’s magazine like National Geographic Little Kids, Highlights, etc.
