Get ready to get crafty!
Do you need to create &/or get ready to mail holiday cards? Create gifts or decorations? Get your December Daily prepped and ready to go?
Do you want to "get caught up" in your Project Life or regular albums? Want to move some of those pages from "to do" to "done"?
Are you working on a Gratitude Journal this month? Need a kick start for that?
Join us for three days of crafty inspiration and fun! Each day (Friday the 6th, Saturday the 7th, and Sunday the 8th) will begin with a set of prompts. You can turn those prompts into anything that gets you closer to your crafty goals this month, and we are hoping you stick around to chat with us while you craft.
Members of November Teams will earn double points for anything created during the crop weekend, but you definitely do not need to be a member of a team to join in the fun. And if you feel comfortable sharing what you have created, we would love to see that, too.

I'll try - no promises. This is looking to be a difficult month - Nov 5th was my mum's birthday and she passed less than 2 weeks later last year. The crop might be a good distraction

Does it start any particular time? I hope to start the crop thread and drop the first set of prompts on Thursday evening about 9:00PM MST. After that, we can crop and chat around the clock for three days. Hoping people will let us know what they are working on/playing with, share projects if possible and progress, encouragement and ideas, and mostly energy!
There will be a different host each day, and Friday is my turn. |

36 hours to GO time! What do you think you will be working on/playing with? I had hoped to get some Halloween photos printed to play with those, but that is not going to happen this week... I am hoping to get my Christmas cards finished, since those supplies have taken over my life . After finishing my All about ME album last month I don't see myself diving into a DD or any other similar project any time soon. |

I will tag everyone who expressed interest in this thread, so you will be sure to find it quickly and can jump right in! Hoping people will fill us in on their plans for the weekend and their progress toward them. Would also love to see your creations if you can link them from Flickr or Tapatalk or Facebook or a blog--any place that has its own storage space.
A hint: we are calling this the Count Your Blessings Crop, because we want this to be a warm fuzzy place to remember the GOOD stuff in our lives, and play with the scrappy supplies we love. Finishing projects like past DD's is definitely something that will bring you satisfaction and joy, so a perfect project for the weekend.
But the focus of our prompts will be the Alphabet! So start thinking about--and collecting--supplies an techniques that "go" with each letter... Could be a theme, a supply name or manufacturer, or a technique. In the past we have played a few "through the alphabet" games. HERE is a link to one of them... |
