Let the creativity begin!

My first scrappy creations for the month. I will be making cards with my niece on Saturday, so was trying to work out a design that would be quick and easy to work with, while chatting. Blue cards by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am excited to carry this design into different 6x6 pads, using my SSS gnomes...

First page of the month and last sketch from the SG class. I’ve been working on this for two weeks and I finally finished today.

And don't forget: DOUBLE POINTS ALL WEEKEND!
Do you have to participate in the google hangout to get double pts this weekend? NOT AT ALL! Would love to see you in the hangout if you can take part, but ANYTHING you create this weekend is worth double points! Whether you use the weekend prompts, the TEAM or regular challenges, or no challenges at all (and go Easy Peasy), add em up, multiply by two!
Your page is wonderful! Love how you interpreted that sketch: the plain mat and then all the different pp's in your circles. Very striking LO.

I shared the cards I put together this weekend on the Count your Blessing Crop thread. Hoping to finish up most of my cards tomorrow, then try to get back into page creation by the end of the week. schroema, I love that two page LO design: so many photos, yet still space to do some decorating. And I love how you tilted a couple of elements to shake up the grid design. Hoping to catch the others on Flickr.

I love having lots of photos!

KikiPea - oooh, that's a gorgeous mixed media background! Isn't it amazing how things change when you add the photos to it. grammadee, one can only say The slimline cards in the centre are my favourite, but there isn't an un-lovely card in that bunch! So much holiday spirit, it makes me I managed to make 1 card...yay me? card neighbours so thankful by kirstendrew, on Flickr

KikiPea. I love that mixed media base even without the photos, but the pages are Gorgeous! Thanks, kitbop. Today making cards seemed easy. One of the best things about being retired is that if I feel like crafting on a random Monday, I can be like Nike and "Just Do It!" (And dh spent most of the morning getting his farm type errands done, so I had the house to myself). That fall card is really pretty, kitbop. I particularly like the embossed foil leaves. And @kellyr, that TN LO is really cool. Love the graphics and the journaling.

I need to learn to make my mixed media wider than I think I need it so I don’t cover up so much of it. That card is beautiful!

You are scrapping some really cool vacation scenery, scrappyrabbit, and I love what you have done with those pic's. Love the layering and your paper choices. Lumberjack is a fav of mine and you used it perfectly.

Our neighbours lost someone to cancer this week, so this morning I put together 3 cards; one for his son, one for his wife, and one for her parents. I had the vellum on my scrap counter--one of those things that are too pretty to use--and then I used some Simple Stories PL cards from their "heart" collection (some on the outsides and some on the insides of these cards. So glad I have that at the ready for when I need cards like this. winged sympathy by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

scrappyrabbit - love your layouts! I went to the gallery to leave comments, and realized that yours weren't added to the "2PeasRefugees" gallery. So I've been missing them when I scroll through the gallery. I often will scroll through the gallery rather than this thread and I don't want to miss yours... Are you a member of our Group on Flickr, and would you mind adding your layouts to it when you upload (it's just 1 extra click, not an extra upload...)
