Another fluff post here. I have a dishwasher that I love. The only problem with it is the default setting takes nearly 3 hours. I have to constantly remember to change it to the quick wash cycle or I will be waiting forever for my dishwasher to finish. Definitely a first world problem...LOL. Anyone else else have an appliance/car/boat or whatever that has a feature that makes you crazy?

The clock in my car. It takes forever to find the settings and. Then it always runs fast. It has a daylight savings time setting, but it doesn’t actually change the time by a hour. It has satellite, WHY CAN’T IT SET ITSELF!!!

My dishwasher also takes forever - probably like 3 hours.
My new coffee maker kinda drives me crazy - you have to tilt the pot super steep to get the coffee to come out lol.

My dishwasher takes 2hr 36min. And that’s without the drying cycle (that I never use).
My appliance annoyance right now:
I cleaned my Krueig coffeemaker and now it’s acting up. I turn it on but the blue light in the water carafe blinks and blinks and blinks until I lift it out and reseat it. I have to do that every.single.time I turn it on. I have yet to find a fix, so yeah? I’m annoyed.

My dishwasher also takes 2.5 hours for a cycle. I set it to wash when we finish the evening meal and I empty it in the morning while the coffee is brewing. That long cycle does not ruin my life at all.

My new air fryer (Cosori brand) beeping is so loud! It also beeps halfway through as a reminder to shake the contents so there’s extra beeping. It works really well aside from how loud it is.

My dishwasher also takes forever - probably like 3 hours. I can wash a huge sink load of dishes in about fifteen minutes.

My old printer had a feature that it would not print if one of the five ink cartridges was out... even in black and white. Then, one day (you know after I bought a new set of ink cartridges that were only available online and paid shipping) it decided you know what I'm expired. I worked yesterday, but due to some arbitrary date I set for myself I'm just not going to print anymore. Imagine raspberry noise here. That ticked me off so much, I refuse to buy another Epson.
My dishwasher takes 2 hours and 9 minutes, and that is often still too long and I have to open it to get a dish out before it's done.

I really dislike the settings controls on my iPhone 11 max... some of them are at the top above the viewfinder area and the rest are underneath... it’s just so clumsy.

SUCH a first world problem: the Sirius/XM radio in my new Subaru Outback switches to the Hits1 station every time I get in it and start it up for a new ride. Well, maybe I don’t want to listen to Hits1 at that moment in time. Subaru Outback doesn’t care. Subaru Outback does what it wants.

I stopped using my dishwasher 3 years ago because it took so long to wash so few dishes. I can do a whole days worth including pots and pans in 15 minutes.

My washing machine is too deep for my small body to reach. It’s a hassle because I can’t reach anything in it.

Some of y’all are really on top of things to be ready for a dish cycle to be completed. My lazy butt just runs it overnight and counts it as a blessing that I have an excuse not to unload it immediately. Ok, to be fair, my back doesn’t do well with the bending so these days it is DH’s ‘lazy’ self. Delta Dawn I would have to really contort myself and practically climb in to reach the clothes in the back of the machine. I have T-Rex arms.

How weird is that? Our cars are exactly how we leave them. How do I know this? Hard rock blasting out of the speakers when DH drove last. The switching automatically would drive me bonkers if I was the only one to drive my vehicle; I like things how I like them and I want my music and my a/c the way I left it, thank you very much.

I use the microwave timer when I bake. It keeps beeping if I don't hit stop. I am always forgetting. Drives me nuts.

I hate that the car doors on our car will close on me if they aren’t opened all the way but all the way is pretty much perpendicular to the car so you have to get out of the car to do that. So when I actually need to grab something before getting out of the car (which is almost always) I end up using my foot so there’s always foot prints on the door panel.
I don’t mind washing dishes but I wish my bathroom could clean itself. LOL

My new Highlander's alarms that tell me if a car is too close/I'm too close to something, beeps incessantly while I'm backing out of my single car garage. I wish there was a way to tell it to beep at other times but not when I'm backing out of the garage; I know the doorway is close on both sides!!! I can hit the "ok" button and make it stop but for some reason it bugs the heck out of me.

My rice cooker has the most ear piercing beep to alert that the rice is finished cooking, and it beeps about a dozen times. There is no way to stop it or shorten it.

My new range. Still haven’t fit out how the timer works. I use Alexa. Changing the time has been a challenge as well. This should be a simple thing.

I bought a new washing machine this summer. I didn’t want to go to the showroom, so I asked them for the equivalent model to my broken washer. I paid for it over the phone and scheduled a delivery time.
I can’t reach the bottom of the washer. Wish I had known that before I bought it.
ETA I see I’m not the only one. LOL I use a step stool to reach the bottom of my washer.

I can relate to so many of these!
I really should have gotten the pedestals for my washer and dryer when we got them 10 or so years ago, but back then I didn’t have as much trouble emptying the stuff out of them (front loaders).
And I feel the pain of those whose printers will not print with a single dead cartridge, ugh.
The one I haven’t seen listed is the “automatic” rear lift gate on my Escape. SUPPOSEDLY when you wave your foot under the spot where the trailer hitch is when you have the key fob with you, the back should open up hands free, but I would guess 8 times out of 10 the stupid thing doesn’t open. Then when I get home and open the back manually to unload my stuff from the trunk, THEN it will sense my foot under there and automatically close the damn door on my head! 🤕

My washer does not allow for soaking (letting the load sit in hot water for an hour or more). It you try to leave things soaking, it thinks you forgot about the load. So it drains the water, without spinning, and just shuts off. Sadly, it took me a while to figure out what was happening. The reset time is really short, like 10 minutes.

The alarm on my car will go off if I lock the door before starting the engine. PITA! That would really bug me. I try very hard not to sit in a car while parked (for security reasons). But after the grocery store, I want to put on sanitizer, take off my mask, etc. So I always lock the door immediately upon getting in. My car recognizes when I’m in the car and won’t beep when I lock it.
