They actually (by law) couldn’t take him off the ballot, apparently. When he died it was too late. We don’t have straight ticket voting here, so people here are apparently just that stupid and ignorant. Symptomatic of the entire country, apparently. 🥺 |

Green Bay finally got reported. Biden up in Wisconsin by about 11,000 votes. Kenosha still has votes to report.

Trump won the county, but the votes that were added were early voting absentee, which gave Biden +9500. Biden is now up about 20,800 votes. It’s going to go to a recount, but looking like it will be enough. Onto Michigan where the gap has closed to 25,000 votes, still in Trump’s favor. But Detroit and other blue metro areas still have votes to count. |

Michigan closing to 2000 votes (or 12,000 the numbers are bouncing around and different people are saying different things). I am feeling more confident than earlier today that Biden will get to 270, although it may take some time for the certifications to come in, with recounts likely and legal maneuvering.
Unfortunately, the Senate status means more gridlock and therefore reinforcing the belief that it doesn’t matter who wins, people are still screwed.

It’s alright. We have those, anyway. So one option is still: 224 + AZ 11, ME 1st Dist 3, NV 6, WI 10, MI 16 = 270. Trump MI lead down to 0.5  |

I'm sick that so much of Michigan went red. My entire county voted Republican across the board. Any candidate that had the endorsement of the Democratic party or union got voted against.
DH likes his company but has been recruited by an international company recently. He mentioned this morning that he should ask them if they'd relocate us to an office in a blue state.

I never thought I’d be comforted by the words of Michael Steele, but there I was in the car this morning listening to him on the radio and hoping to God he’s right that Joe will pull this off once all of the votes are counted. I’m hopeful one second and devastated the next.
I’m so sad about Jaimie Harrison. I knew a Lindsey Graham upset would be like a little miracle, but I sure as hell thought we were due for a little miracle.

This thread is keeping me from completely losing my mind right now. Thank you to you smart people who are explaining why/how Biden can still pull it off and win. I don't know how I am going to work today as all of my coworkers except one are Trump supporters. But I am glad I have to work because I would probably drink wine glued to the tv all day. LOL
