The Lt Governor just announced a little while ago that he expected that Biden will win based on the number of votes left and the way they had been trending. And NBC thought the count would be finished tonight. WTF is right. Trying to put on my non conspiracy theory hat, perhaps based on that they realized the state wasn’t prepped for the rioting/violence this will cause and they wanted more time to prepare? |

For those asking about AZ...yes AZ has been conservative all these years and it still is. But Maricopa and Pima counties are projected as “progressive and Democrat leaning”.
Living in Maricopa county for the last 14 years, I can say that it is a true mix from where I sit.
Just in my own little neighborhood: One of my neighbor and I are Democrat Precinct committee members. She had Biden signs in her yard this year. She never hard signs all these years. In 2016, another neighbor had a Trump yard sign. This year he did not. Couple of others I know who are republicans went to vote for Biden because of what they saw Trump is doing to their party and country.
But then again, I know several Indians(not native Americans...I am talking about people who came from India and became citizens of USA in the last couple of years) who voted for Trump and I am scratching my head as to why...
Such a weird place we are in this second.

Your own neighbourhood, that small microcosm of your everyday life, might just decide the future of 330 million people (and many more when you factor in immigrants). |

Trying to put on my non conspiracy theory hat, perhaps based on that they realized the state wasn’t prepped for the rioting/violence this will cause and they wanted more time to prepare? I was thinking the same thing. They could buy time to get in more police, national guard, declare time you must be home, ect. |

Here is the answer... Chris Potter @cpotterpgh · 14m Replying to @cpotterpgh The ballots in question require special attention. The vast majority -- up to 29,000 -- involve a situation where a vendor sent the wrong ballots to voters, and had to reissue new ballots with the correct races. The challenge there is now voters have 2 ballots, one w/wrong races. 6 48 294 Chris Potter @cpotterpgh · 12m So you have to give those ballots special scrutiny to make sure that a) people don't vote twice, and b) if they just send in the old one, they don't vote in races they aren't eligible for. So you can't just scan them with the rest. |

I think they had about 13K left around 1030 this morning. prapea , do you have any insight to the other counties? Never,ind, got the previous 2 posts mixed together in my head and I was STILL off thinking about Arizona  Does anyone know about these Georgia counties? |

In Clayton County, where there are also several thousand votes, Biden is getting 85% of the vote in this county. "

No lawsuits filed, calm patience for a final tally encouraged and generally not behaving like a spoiled child. Pennsylvania's Allegheny County will not count remaining ballots until Friday
From CNN's Kate Bolduan
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, will not count anymore ballots until tomorrow because of a court agreement over some 29,000 disputed ballots, according to County Councilwoman Bethany Hallam.
The agreement stems from a legal challenge over misprinted ballots that had to be reissued to some voters. The county agreed not to count the potential pool of reprinted ballots until Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. ET – the deadline for receiving mail-in votes that were sent by Election Day.
Allegheny County poll workers will not be counting today because the bulk of the remaining pool of ballots in the county are the disputed pile.

I keep wondering if people don’t know these are the markers of authoritarian regimes (bc of shitty education system which provides an inaccurate and perky version of the US and discusses no where else in the world). Or they just don't care.

CNN reported that it was because 29,000 votes are being held up in court and 6,000 votes were kicked out by the computer. So they are not doing anything else until those 29,000 are said to be valid. I’m just reporting what I saw about 30 minutes ago on cnn. |

Is anyone else just not having a productive day? I have a list of things to do, I’m just refreshing websites etc. DH is trying to have zoom calls and he can’t even have a coherent thought. It doesn’t help our international employees and customers keep asking for updates.

And that is what is making me nervous. Another reason I refused to look into any polling data. Because, personally, polling data means Jack for me. And to think my state is now being watched by entire country and world, I feel like an introvert kid going on to the stage for the first time to do ballet🤣🤣 |
