Pennsylvania's results may come in today. 92% of ballots so far. Trump holds a 111 000 vote advance that is slimming.

More security for Clark County's ballot count. Most of the ballots should be counted for by the end of the weekend. what was that phrase, again? shithole country, right? yup. No 'greatest country on earth' or 'shining example of democracy to the world' would EVER require armed guards protecting people in a normal peaceful election.

"Evangelicals for Trump" (no shit, duh) "Catholics for Trump" Seeing these signs among the Stop the Count protestors really underlines how the US need to catch up with the majority of the Western countries and make religion a private matter, separate Church & State properly once and for all. So many decades (if not a couple of centuries at this stage) behind. This kind of religiosity does democracy no good and is not an extension of freedom of religion. Religious zealotism didnt do much for Monarchies either. France, England, Scotland & more all had their troubles with religious zealotism, some multiple times.

I was wondering if Melania wants Trump to win or lose.... I think she voted Biden ;-)
Thanks for the laugh 😊. I think I saw a picture of Mr and Mrs T voting. And he was looking over, glaring at her ballot.

Pennsylvania's results may come in today. 92% of ballots so far. Trump holds a 111 000 vote advance that is slimming. So 92% of the vote = 6,348,283 (plus some additional third party votes). That translates to roughly 550,000 votes not counted yet. This is definitely possible for Biden. To make up 111,000 votes, he will have to win a little over 60% of the vote. I think he is pulling in much more than that on the last batches of absentee votes. Unless most of those are from conservative areas of the state (and I don't think they are), he can definitely pull it off.

NYT: A Michigan judge denied a request from the Trump campaign to halt the counting of ballots in the state, pointing out that the tallying of absentee ballots was already completed.

I definitely think that she is with Trump in her beliefs, but I don't think she wanted to be first lady and I wonder if she just wants it to be over with. Yep, because if he were to win again it would be four more years before she could dump him and collect her paycheck

nicolep I saw that as well. Wasn't sure if they were being dramatic or not. I have been watching NBC for most of the coverage. I am trying not to get my hopes up prematurely.

Biden currently in a meeting with his campaign staff back in Delaware. They are probably preparing his victory speech (no, no, I'm not trying to jinx it!).

I just read of reuters that pic is Biden going into a briefing on COVID. It was posted with the news that Biden is meeting his campaign staff but maybe they recycled it? I don't know anymore.

Does anyone else feel like we are not going to have a definitive answer on who won until next week?

Does anyone else feel like we are not going to have a definitive answer on who won until next week? I’m kind of thinking that will be the case but with lawsuits maybe longer. I keep hoping that enough states go toward Biden that the lawsuits won’t be an option as he will need too many of them. Really hoping it doesn’t go to the Supreme Court.

The safe harbor period runs until Dec. 8, right? I'm guessing Trump's legal team will attempt to keep things unresolved until then since that would invalidate the State's results.

Is anyone else just not having a productive day? I have a list of things to do, I’m just refreshing websites etc. DH is trying to have zoom calls and he can’t even have a coherent thought. It doesn’t help our international employees and customers keep asking for updates. I called out sick. I just cannot concentrate on anything right now. I took the afternoon off and went and walked with a friend! it is BEAUTIFUL here in MD today, and I am glad I made this choice!

Breaking news (veeery important!) from France: the rightholders to the YMCA song by the Village People, written by two Frenchmen and an American, are suing Trump for using the song at the end of his campaign rally meetings. Anyhoo. Still waiting for news.
