Breaking news (veeery important!) from France: the rightholders to the YMCA song by the Village People, written by two Frenchmen and an American, are suing Trump for using the song at the end of his campaign rally meetings. Anyhoo. Still waiting for news. I hope this means we’ll never be subjected to clips of him “dancing” to that song ever again.

Anyhoo. Still waiting for news. They complained about that issue last week. This past Saturday, Saturday Night Live did a funny YMCA skit. Glad they are suing.

I think she voted Biden ;-)
Thanks for the laugh 😊. I think I saw a picture of Mr and Mrs T voting. And he was looking over, glaring at her ballot. That was last year. Trump mailed in his ballot this year, and flotus voted in person in Florida.

what does this mean?? the 'safe harbor period' part, I mean? Our federal statute maintains that if there are contested results they must be resolved no later than six days before the electors meet to cast their votes. Electors meet and cast their votes on Dec 14; therefore six days prior is Dec 8. Any action states take in resolving disputes prior to Dec 8 is in a “safe harbor,” which essentially just means they are free from federal interference. The safe harbor period is 35 days – from Nov 3 (election day) to Dec 8. While in safe harbor, whatever the state decides according to its state laws will be deemed conclusive. Once Dec 8 comes the state is out of safe harbor.

It is looking more and more like Biden is going to take a lead in Georgia. It really bugs me that those three states weren't allowed to deal with mail in ballots ahead of time. Biden would have been announced the winner before midnight. Instead we get to listen to the Trump family cry for a week.

If they lose they will be crying until the Orange Menace is escorted out of the White House and then even after that. I don’t understand why they aren’t allowed to tabulate the vote beforehand either. They clearly wouldn’t be announcing it before the vote closed, no reason to wait.

If the French media got it right, this is where things stand right now:
- Nevada (6) : 49.4% Biden / 48.5% Trump (less than 12 000 separating both)
- Arizona (11) : 50.5% Biden / 48.2% Trump (less than 68 000 separating both)
- North Carolina (15) : 50.1% Trump / 48.7% Biden (less than 77 000 separating both)
- Georgia (16) : 49.5% Trump / 49.3% Biden (less than 10 000 separating both)
- Pennsylvania (20) : 50.1% Trump / 48.7% Biden (less than 91 000 separating both)

- Georgia (16) : 49.5% Trump / 49.3% Biden (less than 10 000 separating both) I was just going to post about this, it is way too close! The Georgia Attorney General said she was confident they would have a total tonight.
ETA: Nevada said they had until November 10 to count all ballots. That was one of the best news conferences ever. He kept calling out reporters on their stupid questions.
I don't think Biden will get PA.

Actually, this time...I will say no. Let them count each and every vote. I do not want to give any more ammunition to the dumpster and his cult followers to bitch or throw tantrums anymore.

PA down to a 78,000 gap!!! Yes!
Now let’s see what Cheeto brain says at 6:30. I’m guessing this is going to be the equivalent of being sent to the principals office. I have a baaaad feeling about this.

Would you find posting a link to the tweet? Copied it for you... @natesilver538 If 90% of the ballots are from Clark County, there's no reason not to call Nevada. @emmakinery JUST IN: Nevada's Secretary of State says there are approximately 190,150 ballots left to count, 90% of which are from heavily-Democratic Clark County. h/t @steventdennis

Trump campaign files new federal lawsuit against Philadelphia election officials From CNN's Katelyn Polantz
(CNN) The Trump campaign filed a new lawsuit Thursday afternoon against Philadelphia elections officials for allegedly violating their due process rights by blocking the observation of ballots in the city.
This complaint doesn't seem to include any details about how and why canvassing might have been blocked.
This case appears to be mirroring the case in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from earlier today.
This is a new claim in federal court alleging violations of constitutional instead of state law. There is a 5:30 p.m. hearing scheduled.

Gah, it's midnight. Worth staying up a bit longer tonight or nah? Trump speaking in half an hour surely isn't going to be revealing (of anything truthful)...
