I’m an educated woman but some of this shit has me derped. How in the actual fuck can they say Trump has won OK with only 35% of the ballots counted. I mean, I know he will win OK, but still. 😖 At least Biden won my county. #smallfavors Because your state leans heavily Republican. They will declare Biden a winner in California probably within an hour after the polls closed because we lean so heavily blue. Well, they declared Indiana 5 seconds after the poles closed with like 5% in, so, Yay us. I guess we are the best according to Drump. At least our big cities tend to go blue.

As of 9 p.m. ET, we’re at 73 B / 48 T. AND TX IS CLOSE. Who’d have thunk that? Go mix yourselves another cocktail. I can't decide if I should or not. I have to be at work at 7:15 tomorrow no matter what happens. But I've taken several photos of the blue Texas on CNN because it makes me happy ... even if it doesn't last. What kind of Democrat are you that you would schedule a workday the day after election day?

Is this where you expected things to be at this point? Any big surprises? What's your gut feel for the final outcome? Florida's a disappointment, but everything seems to hinge on Ohio right now. We learned in 2016 that no one's gut feeling means anything.

Other Texas peas, help me out. It seems the biggest blue counties have already reported in haven’t they? El Paso County or whatever that is named. Is there another near Harris or Dallas county that we can expect a decent blue turnout? My county went red for President, as expected since we started out around 85% registered Dems last I checked. But, our district looks like it might dump the Rep incumbent so yay! Rove just stated this very thing on Fox. And before peeps accuse me of watching Fox, I don't outside of tonight as I'm pinging back and forth between CNN and Fox to compare. And, to protect my rep I’d like to say I did NOT see it on Fox. Just studying the state mapped out on ABC online. (Anyone else having problems with that page freezing?)

Here in Texas, a lot of male Hispanic voters have swung to Trump. I think it’s a Machismo thing... That’s exactly what DH and I said. For the women, I’d imagine their anti-abortion stance. (Won’t call it pro-life as we know that’s not true). I have a friend who voted Trump because shes fanatically anti abortion. 🤦🏻♀️ I don’t understand how someone can be so lazer focused on only one thing, that they can ignore all the other vile things about that man. So he can rape women but your okay with that as long as they carry the pregnancy to term. Wtaf!

In my opinion, many use abortion as an excuse to vote for the one whose views on race, gender, and LGBTQ issues they also happen to agree with - even if they don't say so in polite company.

There's been some interesting posts on my social media from leaning conservative peeps over this fact comparing to really question the weight of perceived sin over abortion over the perceived other sins of pride and greed. I found even the entrance of that discussion encouraging.

Just reported...in Georgia a pipe burst in a room that stored the mail in/absentee ballots that have not been counted yet. “Officials at the State Farm Arena in Fulton County, Georgia, announce that the absentee ballot count will be delayed after a pipe burst in the room containing the ballots, according to @nbcnews” Apparently the flooding did not affect any ballots, just closed the polling station for about an hour.

Ok, I can't report Fox stuff anymore because the witch who just spoke talked about how the "media" helped Biden. Just can't as I was alive and worked in media during the rise of Aisles and Fox News methodology. Aholes.

I will be stunned of Trump doesn’t win. I feel even worse then in 2016. I was so upset I cried myself to sleep then, because we knew it would be bad, but honestly in my wildest dreams I never dreamed it would be this bad.

My DH was poll observer in Philly suburbs today. Biden won our precinct by 2% with more R’s voting in person today. however, all down ballot races went to R’s. I am not enough of expert to extrapolate what this means exactly but it seems like D’s voted early and R’s held out to vote in person yet a tiny majority voted against their party to replace Trump w Biden while sticking to their party roots in other races. I pray Biden wins PA outright and we can call this thing tonight!!
