It's still pretty early but I am getting tired. Wondering if I should go to bed now if I can actually fall asleep, or stay up and potentially not be able to sleep at all. The thought of waking up in the morning and not having any idea how things turn out seems very strange, though.

It is still (mostly) not ok to admit your racist, hateful beliefs. Or that you value money more than human lives. So people will lie to pollsters and friends and still vote hate in the privacy of the voting booth. I posted a while back about a podcast I listened to about David Duke. He never polled well but still won because no one would admit they were voting for that racist asshole, but that's exactly what they did. I've felt dread ever since listening to that because it makes so much damn sense.
I'm just sick at how many despicable humans are being re-elected to state-wide office in addition to the possibility of 4 more years of Trump.
