Is anyone else as smitten with Steve Kornaki as I am? He's the numbers guy on msnbc. They finally had to make him go get some sleep. He's been up for days. He really loves his job. On election night, I loved when he was so into his magic map that he’d have to ask if he was on camera. When he was doing the absolute minimum of his formidable skill set, which was quickly clicking on different states on the map in preparation for his barrage of numbers, I wondered more than once whether our current president could locate the states like that... I love him and I love MSNBC. I flip between them and NBC. I love Chuck Todd too.

Shhh, don't let them know we're invading the US as they're all glued to their television and computer screens over the election... We put up with 4 years of Trump. We are ready for anything at this point...lolol The tyranny of universal healthcare!

Dayum, it's already dark in Philadelphia. Isn't it only 5 o'clock? It sucks!!! It’s dark at 4:30, I hate it when day light savings time is over. Yes! I'm in NH and it being dark here so early sucks the life out of me. It was 70° and beautiful today.

That literally gave me goose bumps! I want that to be my ringtone until noon at January 20, 2021. Then I will switch to Celebrate Good Times. (fingers crossed, knock on wood)

The Trumpers are so out of touch with reality. Interviewed, they claim this "steal of an election" is turning the US into the laughing stock of the world. Who's gonna tell them? (not that they will listen)

This is my 5th US Presidential Election with NSBR, starting with Kerry v Bush. I too am humbled by the amount of attention and support the international peas have shown us during this election. I think it should be a message to our Trump supporting peas just how awful a president Trump has been. He has been such a disaster to the USA’s reputation on an international stage - doing anything BUT making America great again - that a number of people around the world are as invested in this election as we are for the first time in my lifetime. i had breakfast with a fellow American expat friend that lives here too. It is a holiday here, so my husband was still at home. I gave him strict orders to stay in front of the TV and to call me the moment GA flipped. We were sitting at the table and I saw his name pop up on the phone. I jumped on the phone and when he said GA went blue, I literally jumped out of my chair. My friend, who ACTUALLY worked on community outreach programs in Chicago with none other than Obama, high-fived me across the table. People around us could tell something was going on. When we explained that Trump was out, I shit you not.....the entire patio where we were eating clapped! CLAPPED!!!!!!

I really don't understand how they managed to count millions of votes in one evening and now it's taking so long to count such a small remaining percentage of the votes. Colour me confused.

Same here, 68 I think is where we maxed out. I’m using the last 2 days and next 2 days to stack firewood because the crap weather will be here soon enough.

Nevada had issues with a bad printing of some ballots. They had to send out new ones and keep the old ones and make sure no one sent in two ballots. Lots of little things are slowing it down.

I believe this was A Late Show (Steven Colbert's) opening. It has been updated, but the characters and setting are all the same.

So the ones that aren’t Crystal clear get reviewed by one Democrat and one Republican if they don’t come to a joint decision wether it should be counted or not then a third person comes in and evaluates, that third person is independent. It’s just extremely time consuming because they have to be dealt with by hand and not fed through the machines.

I totally want to be you when I grow up. *big fluffy hearts* Well, okay, but that means staying in your pajamas for three days during an election and eating soup (yes, soup; you read right) for breakfast two days in a row. In bed. Complete with oyster cracker crumbs. Mr. Trump ain’t the only one who’s reverted to childhood. Thanks. I had potato salad for breakfast!

Fox News just reported that "we've gone back to our decision desk like 50 times and they are standing by their decision of calling Arizona for Biden."

and when people were upset/cried and feared for their lives when trump won over HRC, jr mocked them for being snowflakes and handling the loss badly. Fuq him and his bigger, angrier, gun toting snowflakes willing to hurt others if their cult leader loses. I guess he thinks acting like a$$holes and threatening violence is "tough" and not a "snowflake". News flash. It is. Just of the gun toting a$$hole variety.

When Georgia says thousands of military postal votes could still be counted, as long as they have a postmark of 3 November and arrive by the end of Friday.
What time is the end of Friday?

What time is the end of Friday? Close of business which I assume is 5 p.m.

What time is the end of Friday? Either close of business (5 PM), or midnight - not sure how they define it for these purposes.
