Planning a family movie night and looking for suggestions. My daughter is 17 and my son is 14. We donโt like superhero type movies. Prefer comedies and something PG13. Any suggestions?

Legally Blonde and Miss Congeniality are fun. Any of the Ocean's movie. My family can get sucked into The Shawshank Redemption (not sure if PG13?) or Forrest Gump every time. ETA Moonrise Kingdom

Daddy's Home 2 with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg is fun for Christmas.
Actually staying with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, a lot of the Will Ferrell movies are fun and Mark Wahlberg was in one last year called Instant Family which we enjoyed.

I 2nd Peanut Butter Falcon if you haven't seen it. Not a comedy but great movie. Ferris Bueller, Breakfast Club, Weird Science are all good throwbacks DH, DS and DD could watch Top Gun a million times. Also not a comedy but just a movie we love- Men of Honor (Cuba Gooding jr, Robert DiNero) makes dh and I cry every time. The Sandlot School of Rock Mrs. Doubtfire Or Gremlins (because that's what's next on my bingo card for 2020 )

Did not care for Knives Out. Nowhere near as funny as the previews led me to believe.
My recommendation is Men in Black (the original).

I love kinda old movies - Dead Poets Society - my daughter loved it. I am forever giving my daughter names of old classics that she puts in her phone and works her way through. Here are a few others: Ferris Bueller's Day Off Heathers Reality Bites Breakfast Club Pretty in Pink 16 Candles Say Anything Edward Scissorhands All available on torrentsites.com/so, all the teen flicks from my childhood And there's plenty more to go. I'm waiting for her to discover Clerks and Dazed and Confused, but I'm not rushing into them.

we watched "bad neighbours" last weekend. i don't think it qualifies as pg13 but all 3 of my kids (13, 15, 20)thought i was hilarious (plenty of drug and sex references/scenes so if that is a deal breaker, uh, stay away).
jumanji was so funny (first one, still with jack black and kevin hart, better than recent sequel) my kids liked ferris bueller and adventures in babysitting mission impossible movies
i really liked knives out - maybe will watch that with my kids!!
