For this Dress Up With Me Monday, I thought we would do something a little different. Let's wear our favorite accessories! I just love earrings so I am planning to wear a pair I haven't wore in a while. @podlove suggested "a fancy brooch day" when I was looking for suggestions and I thought an accessories day would be fun! Thanks @podlove ! How does this work???

I'm totally going to wear a scarf I rarely wear but love and a new pair of earrings that a friend gave me 'just because' tomorrow--because I have been in isolation for two weeks after a member of my household tested positive for Covid-19! Tomorrow is my first day back out into the world, and that deserves some happy accessories at work!! (My whole family is fine, by the way--everyone else tested negative, and the symptoms that my loved one had were very manageable--just like a moderate cold, basically. Thank goodness for that, and for the mask wearing, hand cleaning, distance-keeping that the rest of us did.)

I love necklaces, and most have been languishing in their boxes for the year. I will dust off one of my favorites and wear it tomorrow.

I was at the grocery store at 7 am today. I wore my favorite silver twisted hoops, my Pandora bracelet, and another silver bracelet. It felt good, even though I was bundled up and no one could see my bracelets.

I’ve been missing my mom recently. Today I’m wearing small pearl studs and a pearl necklace that mom & dad gave me when I graduated from high school. My mom always wore pearls & these remind me of her. The rest of my outfit will be sweats & a sweatshirt as I’ll be outside raking up leaves. But I’ll know I’m wearing pearls & will have her spirit close to my heart. ❤️

I wore a necklace to work and I felt a little bit dressed up. Nothing fancy but I like kind of simple jewelry. Dressing up a tiny bit helps that Monday feeling.... I realized I need to shop for a brooch sometime! I'm thinking etsy!
My earring from last week that I lost hasn't turned up but I kind of enjoyed strolling into work slowly looking in the grass where I think it fell when I take off my mask walking to my car. It's sparkly so I think Maybe I will find it one of these days...of maybe a Bird found it and put it in its nest...
I wonder how many earrings have been lost on masks this year?

First of all, thanks for inspiring our Accessory Day! Next, I am glad you were able to wear a necklace. What type of brooch are you looking for? I never wear them but I do like them. I have several of my grandmother's brooches and I love them. I should wear one sometime. I hope you find your earring! If a bird got it, they are gonna have the fanciest nest on the street! LOL!
