Went through some older homemade holiday cards and sent out about a dozen of them (wasn't going to send any at all this year). But it was good and not too much. Just don't have the whole 70 card thing in me this year. I applaud you! I still haven't sent mine out. I was all about to fill out some store bought ones (that I bought years back) when I actually read the message and realized that it said something about gathering with loved ones, etc, etc and I realized how tone deaf it was to send during these times. I have to dig out other cards later after work. I almost did the same thing! I was sending out a second batch of cards to some people from church, so I was trying to use up the older cards.

I've been on a buying binder. We are going back into lock down so I did my part with some local stores and a couple not as local online stores.
I have a new obsession , but pretty much bought what I wanted from the collection. Elizabeth crafts designs planner essentials dies.
I am off work as of 3 pm tomorrow until Jan 4. And for those interested in my count down. I have 11.5 hrs of work left.
I need a day to clean up my scrap room and to process the new purchases.
DH wants to create something so over break he's going to be my crafty buddy. Lol.
I have a stash of bday cards already. I need to work on my ATC for my art journal group and mail them out.
I haven't set scrappy goals yet. But I think I should.

You and MDscrapaholic need to talk! I think she picked up ECD planner dies last year for her December Daily. I have been really drawn to those dies, but I have to tell myself I am not a big P planner, and I don't do December Daily on any regular basis.

Mostly to make mini art journal stuff with. Or mini albums. I had some coupons and found some good deals. Cause they are expensive.

I had some coupons and found some good deals. Cause they are expensive. Yes, i know. I may or may not have had them all in my cart and was ready to pull the trigger when the total came up... And then in my head converted to $C and estimated postage and decided to back away. I really wanted that half tree die for card making...

I did not read all the posts, but the election mentions got me wondering if anyone included Steve Kornacki in their layouts? I am going to include him. Before I knew of all the hype, he was the one I liked watching the most for the election updates. He is the MSNBC journalist who got all the hype about him + his pants.

I just finished my November pandemic layouts. Mostly titles and journaling. Tucked the pages into protectors and put them in the album.

I haven't had much time to play over the holiday. I thought retirement would bring me more time, LOL!
I am determined to scrapbook today. If the mailman brings my Shutterfly order, that would really energize me.

I know someone will probably post a January thread any hour now, but I just had to come post the ridiculousness that is my craft room. I'm trying to micro-organize...the reality of it is that it is mostly just trying to figure out new ways to fit more stuff in the same footprint (there is a tiny bit of purging going on, though). But I just accomplished something that brought me a great deal of joy and then I really thought about what I had really done. I didn't fit stuff into it's home and get rid of the overflow for that product. Instead, I made enough room in their home to fit a few bits and pieces so my overflow (which in my craft room is stuffing something wherever it fits in that moment) didn't need an overflow anymore. So, in my mind, reducing my overflow so it wasn't maxed out but STILL having their intended home maxed close to bursting is a huge accomplishment. On an unrelated (not!!) note, someone...please stop letting me buy 5 packs of the same thickers!! I buy 2 when I see something I like and usually that's at TM, but then I run into the problem of Joann's having a good sale on occasion and then I end up buying 2 again...and oftentimes if they end up at TM for another round, I'll forget I had them already and 'be good' and just pick up 1. In my FAVORITE fonts, yes...this is okay, but the ones I'm finding lots of dupes of right now are the word sets and those are far more likely to get used up in their entirety, but far less likely for me to reach for them enough to ever need more than 1 or 2 packages. I mostly do PL still and my albums were so full with photos (3-4 page spreads per week most of the time) that I had been banning myself from using anything thick, which means I was buying stuff that I wasn't even allowing myself to use. I originally wanted to try my hands at creating an entire year's album using just Elle's Studio supplies, but I think I'm going to have to modify my approach and pull from specific other supplies, too, OR create 'use up by the end of the albums' product piles that I look at every project I work on EXCEPT the Elle's Studio year. Even reducing my shopping to 10-15% of what I used to do, I'm building up more stash than I can get used. I need to be locked in my craft room, guys!

I did buy those holiday dies last year and still have not made a book yet! I've got pages cut out, ready to be made, dates cut out, but need photos printed to start. I've also bought MORE ECD dies over the course of the year, and really need to start using them! I'm not really a planner girl but I should be! Thinking of spending my stimulus check for more scrapbook supplies today. What should I get?
