I go back and forth with enjoying it and viewing it as a chore. This year has been a bit more a paced for me, so I have done some pretty ones. This one is for DS's girlfriend -- it's a paint can. Originally I was going to monogram it and vinyl it for her, but she got a Cricut so I left it as a blank so she can decorate it as she chooses. It's just paper around the tin and on the center of the lid. I think for DD and DS, I will wrap all of their gifts in paper with no bows or anything, and put them all in one really pretty box.

It isn’t my favorite but I don’t hate it either. I usually sit on the floor and knock it all out in one day, it’s going to be interesting this year being 7 months pregnant.

Love! We just remodeled our house and I built a huge wrapping station in the storage room in the basement. Can’t wait to use it. It’s also a bonding activity that my mom and I do together, so, some of my best memories are working together with her.

Eh, it is okay. Don't hate it as much as laundry or the dishes, so that is something lol
I have been wrapping every few days for the last few weeks, so I am not having an urgent rush the day before Christmas like most years. A big reason is so that the 3yr old doesn't see any of his gifts lol

Cute wrapping!
I like to wrap the first 2 or 3 then it becomes a chore.

Love it and it’s always been something I’ve excelled at, even when I was much younger. So much so that my siblings always said they thought I was part elf, LOL.
I used to belong to a social group that would do an annual holiday gift swap and it secretly brought me great joy to have the gift that everyone fought over every year because mine was wrapped the most creatively!

I enjoy it. I find it relaxing but I don't go crazy. I put wrapping paper on a box - no ribbons or bows etc...

Love! We just remodeled our house and I built a huge wrapping station in the storage room in the basement. Can’t wait to use it. It’s also a bonding activity that my mom and I do together, so, some of my best memories are working together with her. My studio is like that. I have huge work tables that make it so easy (as long as they’re not half covered with half done projects, LOL) to wrap even the largest gifts. I love it. ETA: I think a lot of people end up not liking wrapping because they are using thin, cheap paper. The paper you wrap with makes all the difference IMO. Thick, quality paper is so much easier to wrap with than thin, icky dollar store wrap that tears easily at every corner and with every bump. I’ve been using the double sided wrap from Costco exclusively for at least the last ten years, and I look for patterns that have a neutral B side so I can use them for birthday or other gifts throughout the year. It comes on a huge roll that lasts forever. People are always surprised to open it and see the Christmas print on the inside and say, “Oh! You are SO SMART!”

Hate it. I can't be bothered to measure and cut carefully so it doesn't look great then I'm annoyed with myself Every year I plan to wrap them as I get them but I can't bring myself to get out all the paper etc for just one gift at a time so I don't. Every year I beg my DD to move back home for a bit so she can do it for me

Love it! I also like my presents to coordinate with my tree decorations. I like adding picks, ornaments, jingle bells...all kinds of things to the gifts to make them look festive. I even wrap the gifts my DH & DS get for me. I have them put them in another box & tape it shut then I'll wrap it so it looks "pretty" since DH is terrible at wrapping LOL!!

I enjoy it. I'm not the best at it, my bows are so-so, but when done they always look pretty nice. I've been on a kick to use up my ribbon (I have a lot from Costco, so big rolls), so every package has ribbon and a bow.

Hate it ... that's why I only use gift bags with tissue ... quick and easy ... I'm also a procrastinator so I don't actually wrap anything until about the 23rd

That’s a cute paint can!
I have gone from one extreme to the other.
I used to spend lots of time and money coordinating wrapping paper and making matching gift tags and ribbon and bows. I followed every scrappy trend out there - washi tape, baker’s twine, etc. My presents were works of art. And below our tree looked like a magazine.
Then I had an environmentally conscious child who began to ask for no waste and eventually no presents! Last year, I wrapped all of her presents in Panera and Chipotle bags from takeout! 😊 We have a staff member who brings bagels to staff meetings every week and Panera has those great big kraft paper bags that have Christmas patterns on them. I started saving those and Chipotle bags and wrapping all our gifts in those! It made me feel better about a big Chipotle bag holding my little burrito and chips for five minutes.
I see so many things so differently through 18 year old eyes. Sometimes I think it’s no fun, and other times I reevaluate what fun is.
So I’ll live vicariously through photos of the beautifully wrapped presents of others.

I hate buying gifts because I hate thinking up things to buy and I also hate shopping but I LOVE wrapping presents. I try to do it early so I can look at them wrapped for a while before Christmas. This year I'm not doing much, so don't have many to wrap.

I hate it but luckily my dd loves to do it and does it much nicer than me. So I only wrap her gifts and she wraps the rest for me. I have even been known to put her gift in a box tape it shut and ask her to wrap and only after she is done does she know it is hers.

Love. It’s my favourite thing about Christmas. We try to stick to no cash, no gift certificate, no stocking stuffer rules at our house just so that I can wrap up packages. And I’m with femalebusiness, I wrap as I go so I get to see them sitting all pretty for a while.

I like to wrap and to make it all pretty with big hand-tied bows and matching gift cards. It all starts out so nicely. Then at some point I get overwhelmed with how much there is left to do and I start simplifying -- stick-on bows and gift bags make their appearance then. Lol.

I used to love it and go all out with ribbons and bows and twiddly bits but then I started thinking more about what we throw away and stopped all that. I put things in reusable shopping bags now.
