I like to wrap and to make it all pretty with big hand-tied bows and matching gift cards. It all starts out so nicely. Then at some point I get overwhelmed with how much there is left to do and I start simplifying -- stick-on bows and gift bags make their appearance then. Lol. Yes! This! I may be guilty as well!

I like to wrap. There's just something about it I enjoy. But don't listen to me. I also like to wash my dishes by hand and paint rooms too.

I used to love gift wrapping at Christmas. But as our family grew with in-laws and grandchildren it got to be more a chore because I’d buy different papers for each family or kids v adults. Now I just buy one lovely paper and spend my time designing different ribbons/toppings.

My favorite part of the holiday is wrapping.

Then I had an environmentally conscious child who began to ask for no waste and eventually no presents! Last year, I wrapped all of her presents in Panera and Chipotle bags from takeout! 😊 We have a staff member who brings bagels to staff meetings every week and Panera has those great big kraft paper bags that have Christmas patterns on them. I started saving those and Chipotle bags and wrapping all our gifts in those! It made me feel better about a big Chipotle bag holding my little burrito and chips for five minutes. My 'environmentally conscious child' who is 23 wraps all her presents in regular paper. That just dawned on me. God forbid if I use a straw or have a paper plate in my house... but nothing is said about my wrapping.. HA... One year I did all kraft paper bags with fun ribbon. The only paper I don't buy is the shiny kind as I don't think that is recyclable. The paper I use is, or at least I was told it was fine. No shiny stuff. I use pretty expensive ribbon.. the cloth kind.. but I always buy it at 90%. So I really spend less than the cheapie bows. And I will try to save it to reuse a few times.

Hate it! I suck at wrapping gifts. I try to utilize gift bags as much as possible. My husband is awesome at wrapping gifts so he does the majority of our wrapping during the holidays. However, this year I got smart and bought some wrapping paper with gridlines on it and I am hoping that'll make my wrapping look better than normal!

Love it! I also like my presents to coordinate with my tree decorations. I like adding picks, ornaments, jingle bells...all kinds of things to the gifts to make them look festive. I even wrap the gifts my DH & DS get for me. I have them put them in another box & tape it shut then I'll wrap it so it looks "pretty" since DH is terrible at wrapping LOL!! This is me. I love it!

I absolutely love to wrap and I'm good at it. I always say it's my one and only Martha Stewart like talent.

I used to love it. My mom and I would end up wrapping gifts until the early morning hours on Christmas morning, talking and laughing, then pass out until my dad would wake up my kids (yeah, we ALWAYS had to wake them up 🤷🏻♀️). But now that she’s gone, it seems like such a chore and I don’t enjoy it anymore.

I enjoy it, and I really like looking at all of the pretties once I am done. Try to get it done early, so I can enjoy seeing the gifts under the tree. My bows are made from wired ribbon that I use year after year and the tags are also handmade and used year after year.
I am done wrapping except for a few odd gifts arriving this week. One is a pouf, so that will be especially fun to wrap. Might do a tiny box and have the pouf elsewhere. I made several of the gifts that will be appreciated, so I wrapped those in a different color of paper so I know when those are about to be opened.
I did my wrapping in four days. One day I just find a good box for everything. The next day is tissuing it. Then next two days I wrap as I catch up on tv shows.

I don't like it nor do I hate it. It's just something to be done. This year I've been wrapping as I get the item(s). That's helped me greatly. I just do the minimum with pretty wrapping paper. No bows, heck usually not even name tags, just write their name in big black sharpie.

I love wrapping gifts with paper. Don't get to do it much anymore, but I think I was pretty good at it. I didn't go crazy elaborate.
I like making bows too. My mom used to make her own bows, the floofy round types, with ribbon and a very thin string, and she taught me how. It was sort of like crocheting, you make the "petals" larger on the bottom, and as you go up and around the petals got smaller.

I tolerate it...I actually like wrapping, but I don't like dragging everything up from the basement and as I get older it gets harder to wrap on the living room floor. I should switch to the kitchen table, but there's not always a lot of space and there's no TV.

I generally really like wrapping gifts. The best part is when the scissors just slice through the paper.

Don't love it or hate it. I don't mind doing it I guess is my vote.
Every year I do the wrapping all in one session. I use quality paper with the grid lines on the back and I agree with the other Pea-quality paper is the key. Using heavy weight paper makes a huge difference-it doesn't tear at the corners. I buy mine at Hallmark in December-by then it's on sale and not that expensive. What I pay for it more than makes up for my time and frustration instead of buying cheap thin paper to save a few bucks. At least that's how I look at it.
I also use fabric ribbon that I tie in a bow but this year with Covid since we will be delivering my parents and sister's gifts to their doorsteps I'm only going to be using paper and gift tags.

I generally really like wrapping gifts. The best part is when the scissors just slice through the paper. One year, years ago I bought some paper from a charity organization and they included 2 paper cutters that are amazing instead of using scissors. They are something like this product on Amazon and because I can't do links I'm going to write out the description Cartints 2 pack snitty safety vinyl film cutter paper cutting tool. Well that's only half but that should get you there. Ours don't have the retractable blade but they look like this. They greatly reduce the time of gift wrapping because they just slice right through the paper without the scissor action.

I used to love it, but now in my small house, I have no room to spread out and wrap things properly. The last few years, I copped out and used bags and tissue. Now my kids are older teens and their gifts are either clothes or small electronics. This year, I purchased wooden crates to neatly fold the clothes in and monogramed stockings for the small things. I'll slap a bow on them and be done.

I might order a set — do they last a while? They seem to come in packages of 4-6 mostly. I’ve also considered using my rotary fabric cutter as I have a table top sized cutting mat.

I really, really hate it. It's a waste of time and it's a loathsome chore.
My husband gets disgruntled if I don't wrap his presents so I have to do it and that makes it even more annoying. IDK why he cares about this trivial matter but he does.
I'm definitely a put-it-in-the-bag person. Or a pre-decorated box.

I love them for gift wrapping.

Haaaaaaate it. A lot. I am bad at it, so that’s probably why. Nowadays I just have presents shipped directly to whoever they are for. It’s wonderful.

HATE IT!!!
I have to sit on the floor to do it and everything aches when I am done with each wrapping session.
(and I have to wrap my own presents because Dh can’t wrap).

I hate it with a passion. I can not make a bow to save my life. I try to do it all in one sitting so I only have all the wrapping stuff out at once but it never happens. But I don’t like using gift bags so I just do it...

I will pay those of you who love to wrap in fudge to come to my house and do it for me. I would take you up on that in a heartbeat because I’m great at wrapping but I suck at making fudge! DH likes it and every time I try to make it it’s an epic fail. Even the “absolutely, positively no fail fudge? I manage to fail it. Go figure, I can make caramels and all kinds of other candies but fudge is my Kryptonite.

Love! We just remodeled our house and I built a huge wrapping station in the storage room in the basement. Can’t wait to use it. It’s also a bonding activity that my mom and I do together, so, some of my best memories are working together with her. Love this!! I am a fan of gift wrapping too. When I was a young teen my mom worked in a fancy dress shop and I used to go to work with her and I would gift wrap the boxes and loved it!

Unfortunately DH has been doing Noom for over six months and hasn’t been doing great with it. 😫 I’ve been trying hard not to bring in even more stuff that he really can’t resist so it’s probably for the best that I can’t crack that nut, LOL.
