I doubt it will make you feel any better, but I finished my BSN in 2018 and no one noticed. Didn't even have the 2020 excuse. Hey, we are ALL very proud of you!

I graduate today. 2020 style. It’s a virtual graduation so they will just read a bunch of names online. To sort of “make up” for the virtual graduation they sent everyone a Celebration Pack! This celebration pack included a cap, gown, and my honor cords. But, in 2020 style, they won’t arrive until next week sometime. And no one in my family and friends remembered. I’ve been taking classes for 3 years. I just feel depressed today. Not happy and accomplished like I should. Uggg. Thanks for letting me get this out. I am really proud of you! Congratulations! All your hard work paid off! If you will send me your address, I would like to make you a graduation card if thats ok with you. You deserve to be celebrated!

Congratulations!!! I'm sorry your day wasn't the kind you were hoping for, but you can be very proud of all you've accomplished. I'm very happy to be a part of your virtual celebration.

Congratulations! You should get some pictures taken in your cap and gown! And plaster it all over the place. Ceremonies are usually boring anyway- especially at the college level.

I hope you can plan something to celebrate now and in the future - maybe takeout from your favorite restaurant now and something you’d like to do or have in the future, a trip or something you’ve wanted for a while?
It’s a bummer that the usual recognition and celebrations aren’t possible right now. If it makes you feel better, many people don’t even pay attention to dates that are important to themselves, let alone the other people they know.
Be proud of what you’ve accomplished, and know that now you have the degree, even though there was no ceremony. Congratulations!

Congratulations!! My college graduation was the most boring day on the planet. It was highlighed by a ridiculously long speech from the keynote speaker who stood up in front of the crowd and cried about how his mother bought him his first fiddle. I peaced out as soon as my name was called. It was horrible.

Congratulations . I know it is disappointing not to have an actual ceremony but the biggest pride is what you should feel for yourself and all your hard work. Hope you manage to get a photo in your gown.

I should graduate in May after taking classes 1 at a time since 1987. I hadn’t planned on attending a ceremony but now that it is virtual I may watch something on the computer. Oh wow! Props to you!

I hope you find a great frame and hang your diploma somewhere you will see it every day.
As to your DH eating half the chocolate, that's just an excuse for you to buy more!

Oh, I missed this. CONGRATULATIONS! Excellent. Brilliant. Well done. Pip pip. Splendid. Tip top. Way to go. Toot toot. Awesome. I don’t think I have ever said or written the word “awesome” in my life, so that thar’ is a precious linguistic concession gift I just gave you. Advice from an educated elder? Ready? Order more damn chocolates.

Congratulations Peabrain, Class of 2020, an unforgettable year. You accomplished something not everyone has done, received a college degree. This is something NO ONE can take away from you. Go online and order yourself another box of candy
